  1. To be honest it pleases me. The bad are never hated, it's the best who are hated and talked about all the time.
  2. I actually love our current badge. It's so modern and clean, there's nothing I would change about it. That mock posted by Dec looks brilliant though.
  3. Manchester United, Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham, Inter.
  4. Ass manager, that doesn't sound right
  5. Congrats Everyone! Credit to all the Mods and Admins, you all do a brilliant job.
  6. Plus the two legs of the Champions League semi.
  7. Good post mate. We all love TalkChelsea.
  8. That was one of the most boring El Clasico's I have ever watched.
  9. Cech - 7 Ivanovic - 6 Luiz - 7 Terry - 7 Cole - 8 Mikel - 7 Essien - 8 Lampard - 6 Malouda - 7 Kalou - 7 Drogba - 9
  10. Cech Luiz - Alex - Terry - Cole Ramires - Essien - Lampard Drogba - Malouda Torres Carlo can't leave Drogba out, but he has to start with Torres too. So play with both of them, Drogba behind Torres and with Malouda on the left. Ever since that Wigan game when Malouda scored, he has improved quite a lot. On Tuesday against United he showed signs of improvement too, and today he was no doubt one of our best players, he seems to understand quite well with Ashley on that left flank. Mikel played quite well today too, but it is impossible to find a place for him in the starting eleven.
  11. Agreed. But Kalou played as a centre forward today, so I would see no problem with both Drogba and Torres getting involved at the same time. Drogba - Malouda Torres
  12. I don't get it, why on earth do the fans and Carlo think that Drogba and Torres can't play together? Drogba is an all rounder, we didn't see him as a typical centre forward today - he was running all the time and you could see him everywhere. He was passing, assisting, crossing, and he was creating space for his team-mates too. I don't see a problem with them both starting on Wednesday. Carlo can play the same line-up against Birmingham, but with Torres instead of Kalou, and maybe include Benayoun too. If not as a starter, then bring him on earlier in the second half than today. He and Torres both deserved more playing time today definitely.
  13. Happy with the 3 points today, we no doubt deserved the win as a result of our full dominance. It could have easily been six, had Malouda and Kalou took their chances. Can't blame Torres today really, have absolutely no complaints. He was only given a few minutes, you can't expect him to score for that little time. Carlo could have and should have brought him on for Kalou on the 65th or 70th minute. 20-25 minutes would be ideal for him to score, ten minutes is way too little.
  14. TORRES TORRES TORRES TORRES How awesome would it be to score against the team of your former coach?
  15. Great 2 goals advantage, don't blow it away Chelsea. Our left flank has worked impressively well in the first half, Cole and Malouda were quite dangerous. Drogba man of the match so far definitely, brilliant performance. I've seen improvement on Malouda, Essien and Lampard. Essien's returning to his old form, gradually. Some nice assisting from him.
  16. Alright, another week without a goal for Fernando Torres then. Well done Carlo.
  17. It obviously is. Show them the bench and see how they perform in their next game. Or simply tell them not to make 10 yard passes if you see that it's not working, or if you notice that your game is rather predictable. Change the way of playing, put another player on instead of Essien or Lampard, tell them to change the game, give more boost to the attack, look for the striker, motivate them, tell them not to lose posession in midfield, there are MANY things a coach can do to improve his team, he is there for a reason. We were promised that we would see something special on Tuesday against Man United, and what did we see? Nothing apart from showing more will to win the game, which we should have shown in the first leg in the first place, and the removal of Torres for Drogba. Our game was boring and predictable, just like during the whole season.
  18. I'm not a Carlo hater. I actually quite like the man, I liked him even from his Milan days as Milan were my favourite team in Italy, and I've been supporting him throughout the whole season. But I'm just expressing my honest opinion on how I think that the club could improve for the next season, that's all.
  19. It clearly is. Why play the player if he is in bad form and if he is not playing well? The coach decides who plays and who doesn't.
  20. Yeah okay, go on. Accuse Frank Lampard, Michael Essien, Florent Maluda, Fernando Torres etc etc, and not the coach. The coach is the head of the team, and if the team fails, it's because his tactics and strategies didn't work. Nobody can guarantee me that we will do better in the next season. With all the negative reputation we received as a club with Torres being a 'flop', Carlo finishing a disappionting season and all that, nobody in the world can convince or guarantee me that we WILL do better in the next season. If you don't want to look back in the history when Mourinho got us to the back to back titles, then why mention Carlo's success which will soon be counted as two seasons ago? We need a winning manager.
  21. You have no right to call me a plastic fan. It's people like you who accuse others of being plastic fans that piss me off, what authority do you have to accuse another fan, just because he thinks that one coach is better than another? It's called an opinion, and it's a forum where people are supposed to express their opinions, not everyone agrees with each other. How many stupid mistakes did Carlo make anyway? Remove Drogba in first leg against United, not start him in the second. Don't be so tolerant. He was brought to win us the Champions League and we failed to score at the Bridge in the knockout stages with Carlo in charge, the last goal in the Champions League knockout stages at the Bridge still remains Essien's against Barcelona from two years ago. It's not about ending the season without trophies, it's about his tactics and his wrong moves. Blaming only the players is ridiculous. Look at Real Madrid, they failed to get to the Quarter-finals of the Champions League for 7 consecutive years, but in his first season Mourinho ends that negative streak, it's not a coincidence. It's because he is Mourinho, people. Because he is the best coach in the world.
  22. I wonder what would every Ancelotti fan be saying if we ended a trophyless season next season as well. Keep him for another? Yeah right... Jose, or Porto's manager, PLEASE ROMAN!
