No shit, Benitez. This is why I was always against the idea of dropping Lampard, Terry and co. so quickly. The fans became so obsessed with the new signings and they started to completely disregard our true leaders, and this really hurt me, and I knew from the beginning that things wouldn't work as perfectly as most were expecting. Look what's happening to Arsenal, they don't have a leader either. They had one last year but he's gone now, and now they're shit. They don't have a leader within the team and if you don't have one you're screwed. The same is happening to us. Don't forget that it was the old guard that led to a historic triumph last season, despite the fact that everybody was writting them off, and I'm pretty sure that they're still more than capable of leading this team. They're not finished yet, especially not Terry. And we shouldn't be expecting magic from Lamps anymore, because as some have pointed out his presence on the pitch alone would be a massive boost for the team and the younger players, and he's undoubtedly still the best finisher in the team. I for one can't wait for their return.

European Champions my arse. Something is seriously not right with this club, sometimes I think we're cursed or something. We spend millions in transfers yet we fail to beat teams like Fulham and West Ham, teams that we should be beating home and away. This is just embarrassing.
-
Not only does this team lack leadership without the old guard, but it lacks passion and spirit too. We should be beating teams like Fulham home and away, and it's a shame that with all the money spent in the summer we can't even score. There should be no excuses for that dreadful performance. Just embarrassing.

What a shit half that was. Even on an empty stadium I would be motivated to perform better, let alone in a stadium full of 40,000 people. Shocking.
-
Yeah, we get the idea. It's enough to post once.

Luiz was the only terrible defender in that game, and he was responsible for all four goals that we conceded. Here's a post I made after the game, those pictures should convince you

This is going to be an even bigger loss than that of Drogba.
-
Does he EVER shut up? This is why I love managers like Robbie and can't stand pricks like him. Just shut up and mind your own business.

Drogba's last ever kick in a Chelsea shirt should remain the decisive kick from the spot in Munich. I love him and would love to see him play for Chelsea again but I don't think he should come back.

Yeah, let's start playing our home matches at Anfield too.

That Mexes goal is better than Ibrahimovic's. He beat the goalkeeper while Ibrahimovic's goal was scored in an empty net. Plus he's a defender

Fuck him, I hate him now. Can't wait for the summer

If he was referring to our fans, then he doesn't have my support.

He won Inter the Club World Cup two years ago, lets hope he does the same here.

I already miss him

One word, madness. I've only read the first 10 pages of this thread and I can say I agree with almost everyone. Shocking decision, didn't expect it to happen this early. Robbie is a Chelsea legend and what he did for the club last season was extraordinary, and he didn't deserve such treatment. Fuck you Roman

Really? Did you not see when he ran for about 60 yards and took the ball from Quagliarella (I think it was)? He was excellent, won so many balls and was really strong defensively. Saying he has no brain and he just runs is really harsh. He's a really hard worker and deserves credit for that.

He was our best player tonight, what game were you watching?!
