  1. I'm not saying that him leaving would fix all the team's problems but I'm certain that at least half of them will get solved once he leaves. He's simply not good enough for this team. Tries but fails all the time, if it wasn't for his mistake we wouldn't even have conceded today. Besides, Ba proved once again how much better and more dangerous he is. Probably if Benitez chose to start with Ba instead, we'd have scored more than just 2 goals today.
  2. Good game. It's obvious that we were unbalanced in this game but I'm not going to complain. In the first half we were all over them and they were better than us in the second, so without being biased I'd say we deserved the win and they deserved their goal. Walcott is a great finisher and I knew we were going to concede as soon as I saw him in that position. I can't believe they gave 5 minutes of added time though. Seriously. There weren't that many injuries today or fouls to require 5 minutes of added time in the end. I've never seen this happen in the Bundesliga or any other league. No wonder United keep scoring in Fergie time, and they'll keep winning titles getting winners this way, as long as 5 minutes of added time are awarded each game. It's kind of inevitable.
  3. In comparison with the rest of the elite European clubs, we are without a doubt the most inconsistent side and we play the most boring and unnattractive football. Millions spent, yet teams like Southampton and QPR manage to outplay us at home, this is just embarrassing. I for one cannot wait for this season to end, and I'm pretty sure that the vast majority of the fans feel the same way.
  4. Statement on Di Matteo from the club's official website on 21 Nov 2012: "The owner and the Board felt that a change was necessary now to keep the club moving in the right direction." Right direction my arse.
  5. Good game, this season we're clearly stronger when we play away from home. Hazard's goal was world class.
  6. @Henrique, The fact that Luiz is Brazilian doesn't make me criticize him or dislike him. I don't like him because his recklessness has cost the team more times than I can count, and it seems that this guy will just never learn. I'm always nervous when I see him in defence especially in big games, because the chances are high that he'll screw up. With Ivanovic it is less likely to happen, because Ivanovic is more intelligent and is a better defender even if he's not as skillful as Luiz. Luiz is imo our worst defender, Ivanovic on the other hand might be our second best.
  7. His Chelsea career is now officially over. He doesn't like it here, the fans don't like him anymore. Time to move on. Summer can't come any sooner.
  8. I don't even care anymore to be frank. Roman tends to change managers more often than some people change their socks and it's not even interesting or exciting anymore. Nevertheless, I prefer Jose or Pep. Probably the only two managers I'd actually get excited about. But I have a weird feeling that Benitez will remain here for one more season.
  9. I'm sorry, but do you even like Lamps? Or did you ever like him? I'm not saying you should commend him all the time and come here and say "I fucking love you Frank, I'd suck your dick if I could", but you seem to disparage him every time you have the chance, and for a Chelsea fan it just doesn't seem right to me. Anyway, to each his own.
  10. Would've been a terrific picture if Luiz wasn't there. Still a very good picture nonetheless.
  11. Without Suarez Liverpool would be 16th, not 8th. Without RvP Man Utd would be 11th, not 1st. Without Torres Chelsea would still be 4th.
  12. This game was a real torture. It was a game that could cure one's insomnia, that's how sluggish it was. It was a game that could make the happiest person in the world depressed for weeks, that's how bad it was. It was an assault on the eyes and on the brain, that's how fucking dreadful it was.
  13. Absolutely dreadful performance, and I thought my day couldn't get any worse. Now we know why RDM never used Marin, he was totally useless.
  14. I only have two things to say: Massive three points. Lampard is god.
  15. This is probably my favourite Chelsea game
  16. Really pleased with the win, considering it's one of the toughest places to get the three points from. I can't even believe that some people on here aren't happy with the result, lmao. But to be quite frank, I wouldn't have expected us to beat them today had we not scored that many goals against Villa in the previous fixture. That victory was really important and it gave me a lot of confidence for this game, and it must have had the same effect on the players and on the opponents as well. I really think that the fact we scored eight goals in that game helped a lot today and we got the win thanks to those goals (maybe it would've had the same effect if we only scored 5 or 6, but you get the idea). And Mata's goal was just superb, he's really making the difference. What a player, what a perfectly executed goal.
