Alex Ferguson is the coach version of Rio Ferdinand, if he was allowed to be on the pitch he'd probably do the same unsporting and immature behaviours, if not even worse. It is these two cunts that make me truly hate this team, not to mention the vast majority of their arrogant fans. I hope we smash them in the second leg.

Ferdinand is a disgrace. If I was there instead of Torres I'd do something that would probably get me suspended for months.
-
Oh my god, and I thought he couldn't get any worse.

Not even debatable.

Rafael Benitez is the worst manager of all time. Either that, or this joke of a club is cursed, or something. I don't know, but it's very depressing. The team's performances have gotten shit to the point that I think I'm not even enjoying football anymore, and it's becoming worse each day. So, kudos to the board for putting this club in the "right direction".

Just lock this thread already...

Can somebody find a statistic of Bertrand's appearances/wins ratio? I am not saying it is his fault that we keep losing, but I honestly cannot remember the last time this guy celebrated with his teammates after the final whistle, it just seems a very rare and unusual scenario.

Surprise, surprise...

I read somewhere earlier today, that their owner claimed that we are too slow, and that his club will destroy us on the counter-attack. I wholeheartedly agree. Expecting this to be just another customary sluggish performance with piss poor performances all round. Alright, maybe I'm just being my typical pessimistic self. But still.

One ref decision goes against them and they all go bonkers, which just confirms the fact that the officials help them almost all the time. The sore losers aren't used to it. Why people are even debating is beyond me, Nani went kung fu on the Real Madrid player, it doesn't matter if it was intentional or not. That tackle was a very dangerous one, and thus a red card offence.

Just bring RDM back. He'd win us the Champions League again, even if we're not in it. He's that good.

Let's face it, nobody expected us to win at the Etihad, but it's the performance that is heartbreaking, it's the awful performance that makes our blood boil. Whenever we're losing it looks like we just sit back and accept defeat, very painful to watch. And not just when we're losing. When was the last time this team showed some passion on the pitch anyway? Has it ever happened under Rafa? 18th of April and 24th of April 2012 - that was passion. 19th of May 2012 - that was passion. This is a fucking joke.
-
If Torres fails to score tomorrow, somebody from inside the stadium should just throw a shoe at him. Seriously, he can just fuck off if he doesn't score tomorrow.
-
Wish he'd stop shooting from distance, always hits row Z.
-
What a legend, he keeps giving it his all and he's scoring goals too, not offering him a new contract doesn't even make sense.

Players You're Gutted We Never Signed

Aguero, definitely. -
For me it has gotten to the point where I'm not even getting angry about negative results anymore, I am used to it now and I'm expecting losses. But what hurts me is that we show no desire for most of the game, we only played well for about 20 minutes today, maybe even less than that. Just not good enough. In 2007 Rafa claimed we were a passionless and a soulless club, and that's what we have become now. If his mission was to turn us into a club without a soul, then it is safe to say he has successfully accomplished his mission.

Inter Milan and Chelsea: beat Barcelona in the semi-final in the Champions League - beat Bayern in the final - get beaten by Atletico Madrid in the Super Cup - appoint Benitez - start to decline. History has repeated itself. With us it has been worse though, with Inter at least he won the Club World Cup.

These are the consequences of the mutual hatred that exists among the manager and the fans of this club. Let's face it, Benitez hates this team and he always has. The fans never liked him and they never will. Long story short, it should've never happened. When he coached that scummy club he claimed that we were a soulless and passionless club, and that's what he turned us into. Summer can't come soon enough.

I really hope you're joking. Because if you compare us to the rest of the top clubs in Europe, we play the slowest and the most boring and unattractive football. Besides, Benitez hasn't improved this team one bit. After the club assigned him they released a statement on the official club's website saying "This decision was made so we can keep moving on the right direction" or something like that. Right direction my arse, this is anything but right direction. Robbie won us two trophies in less than two months in charge, on the other hand it took Benitez that long to get us knocked out of two competitions. I had high hopes when I learnt that Roman chose him as Robbie's replacement and I was actually kind of optimstic, but now I can't wait for this season to be over.

I wouldn't say he's embarrassed, he is now a famous dickfaced brat and he's laughing his ass off knowing that Hazard got red-carded because of him. Just take a look at the number of the followers he has gained in less than 24 hours, in a few hours he'll probably reach the 100k mark.
-
Deserved red card imo, very immature and unprofessional from Hazard. But if it was me, I'd have kicked him even harder probably.
-
Lmao, it took me like half a minute to realize who FSW was.
-
Admit it, you were surprised when you saw him go to the keeper's left.
