What a great win. Big, big 3 points, so fucking happy. I can't remember the last time I was this satisfied with the team's performance, just brilliant. Mata and Hazard were excellent, Ramires and Mikel were also very good, and so was the defence, and so was Torres. Really pleased with everyone. But Oscar definitely still has to learn.

Lampard is one of the greatest Chelsea players of all time, he is the club's icon, and his own fans disrespect him? Shame on you. No wonder people hate us and call us plastics. It's only been a few months that we've signed the likes of Hazard and Oscar, and even though they still have a lot to prove in the Chelsea shirt, now all of a sudden they're gods, and Lampard is shit. Because if you were a Chelsea fan before this season began, you wouldn't look so deluded in front of hundreds of other Chelsea fans who use this forum, because this is not the first time Torres has looked unconfident in front of goal, and this is not the first time he's failed miserably in such a great goalscoring position. So stop with the 3-4 chances bullshit, he's had more chances than I can count. He is a massive flop, one of the biggest flops in world football history. Embrace it.

Well said, I feel exactly the same way. He's been one of my favourite players since his Liverpool days, and I'm still one of his biggest fans, but how can I expect from him when he misses chances like that. I still support him every time he plays, but finding excuses after that miss today is hilarious. He was brought here to score chances like that and he didn't even touch the ball, which is embarrassing. And come on, this isn't the first chance he's missed when in front of goal in his Chelsea career. It's not the first time that he appeared scared in front of goal. He's been like this all the time.

How is it insulting? It's what they are. Most fans have a favourite player, yeah. And so do I. My favourite player is Lampard, but I don't go nuts whenever I see him on the pitch, I don't post pictures of him everywhere, and I don't support him more than I support the club. And when he plays shit, I criticize him instead of critizing others who criticize him for his poor performances, so there's a difference between being a fangirl and having a favourite player. For the vast majority of these fangirls, Torres seems to be far more improtant than the club, which is what annoys me most. Most of them support Spain too just because of him.

Nobody should ever complain about lack of service anymore. That pass from Mata that he received in the first half was one of the best passes I've seen a player make for a striker, and Torres didn't even hit it. Embarrassing. He's always had the support from the fans, they cheer for him almost everytime he has the ball. He was excellent today, motm for me. That pass to Torres in the first half was brilliant, shame it was Torres there who couldn't even hit the ball. And then that pass to Cole for the goal. Would've been two assists had Torres scored that one.

Glad he's signed a new contract. Probably I was too harsh on him after the Super Cup game, but he's been very good in the last three games, ever since he apologized to the fans via his twitter after that horrible performance in Monaco he has improved significantly. I hope he continues to perform this way. He has the skills and the quality in him, he just needs to stop acting silly at times, especially in defence as it puts him and his team in a dangerous situation.

Only 4 shots on target all game, no wonder we barely even scored. But we dominated and were the better side, so these big three points were fully deserved.
