I do agree with that. I think kalou knows its now or never at Chelsea. I just dont like the 'hate' as its a strong word and a bit much imo. and i still object to being called scum just because of my opinion

I totally understand others fustrations on Kalou but to hate him and say he is shit when I bet Kalou has more skill with a football than most of us lot put together is rather harsh imo. I dont like Danny Sturridge, he gets on my nerves but I can guarentee most people on here like him think he is great and will be a top Chelsea player. I dont see it. I dont think he is shit, I just believe he is with us all for the wrong reasons and I actually dont think he is all that. My opinion of course, Kalou is here for Chelsea does graft. Just like to add about Drogba .... he is the drogs ballacks. he just fustrates me with his attitude sometimes but I ALWAYS stuck by him, just ask badboy lol. He likes to throw a strop every now and again to gain 'love' from the manager and supporters. He basically needs a hug and some one to tell him you are the best striker in the world from time to time and then next game he bang in a couple of beautiful goals with skill that is out of this world lol But thats him and the way he works. Kalou, just like most players, dwells alot and doesnt cause a fuss adn that affects me me thinks. Bit of love goes along way.

It was a question, it wasnt an insult. Outlandish claims? Oh I am sure his and every other players confidence was sky high before the Ipswich game. It is about condfidence. To be a top footballer you have to have confidence and belief in yourself to achieve great things even if you do have the best skills in the world. I know he hasnt had a great run, I am not diluded but I see a grafter and he knows he needs to buck up or he will more than likely be out in the summer. I dont slag of our players with out a reason and I dont see a reason to slag Kalou off. It's my opinion and I value what other people say on how they feel and I expect the same from other members on here and not to be called scum.

Champions League is what Roman wants and I sware with Russia getting the world cup bid he sorted the Champions League. This is the last time that this actual squad can win this. they have all been throught the ups and downs in the latter stages and I think the hunger for it is burning more than for the League, especially now. I personally would rather CL than EPL.

I value your points. But I have a feeling on Kalou and I cant fault his efforts and there have been times where is has had blinding games and people have raved about him (I dont know on here because I havent been around for a while but I can imagine he hasnt been liked) ...........then he gets slagged off later. He needs to believe in him self and not to give Drogba or Anelka too much respect and say 'ello I;m here and I can score the goals here too!' but he doesnt sulk like Drogba for most the game if things dont go his way he sucks it up and get on with it. And I cant blame him for whats happend to us, it all the players that need an arse kicking right now.

I totally agree there. I originally thought that not having Dids in the box was a bad idea as he is a goal threat but JT as we know will do anything to try and get the ball and Ivanovic does too like you said, And fizzed in ball is good weathr a Chelsea player scores or it ends up as an own goal by the opposition. Like I said we havent had decent corners for years and it needs to be sorted.

He lacks confindence. He will become a great player, If your moaning about him 'nicking' Anelka's goal thats pathetic. He chased down the ball and made sure it went in. If he or other players did that more often we would have a chance of creating and scoring more. He has the pace and the ability but lacks confidence in the final part up field. I stuck with Drogba when people slagged him off and now he is a legend and I will stick will Kalou. A player who I havent got time for is Sturridge, he can sod off. I dont care if he scored against Ipswich to make 7 in 2 games. He is at Chelsea for the wrong reasons. He needs to stop titting around on the pitch and work bloody hard instead. Every time Kalou has a good game and scores or not I will mention it time and time again but on the same token I will say if he has been shite.

I agree 100% with Ollie. I wasnt a fan at the beginning but I am now. To be fair no forgien player apart from Zola has come into our team and set the premiership alight with in 1 game! Mikel, Kalou, Kakutam Ivanovic and McEchran will get stronger and if all kept with us will be our future heros. We have to remember to be patient. We often get gems of players but dont always keep them which can be our down fall.

Sorry but those of you who think we do not need Mikel are nuts. He has come on leaps and bounds, from that little boy who kept getting sent off and losing posession to a a strong man in midfield who keeps the ball, times his tackels better and when Essien isnt there a perfect back up. Mikel will become our engine in midfield once Essien and Lamps stop playing in my opinion. As for Drogba, I dont care how old he is, any team would want him as their striker. He is one of the best one the world. He has a complex character and once you understand him and what makes him tick he will play and bang in them goals.

With Essien I think he is scared to touch the ball for fear of being booked or sent off! He will be back to the same old player soon

I can understand why Butch went. I was watching Goals on Sunday the other week when Butch was on there and he said Carlo is a unique manager in that he actually COACHES aswell as manages. So really Butch was being paid to do something Carlo was already doing...... but I dont think Roman realised what a social and personal impact Butch has on the squad. Paul Clement has the knowledge of the youth and can tell Carlo who would be suitable for certain games but they arent goin to win us the league and definatly not the Champions league.
