  1. :goodpost: My favroite bit was when Jose said "does he want my job?"
  2. The problem with Liverpool games is you dont know what you are going to get. In Chelsea games in the most recent past they either come into it with a real seige mentality attitude (2 CL semi wins and their 1-0 win at SW6 when we had Scolari) or just turn up and cant be bothered (4-1 and 3-1 at Anfield plus the 2 games last season) with all the stuff going on in the last week i cant for the world see the latter. What im worried about is Carragher, Skrtel or Stevie ME trying to injure Torres.Im torn on whether Torres starts TBH there are pros and cons for both.
  3. Evening Blues, ive just been thinking if Sturridge comes back from Bolton re-duviented (spelling) from his loan at Bolton it would be like having a brand new player on the books (its certainly looks so far so good in that respect). As much as id love Drogba and Anelka to go on for-ever (especially Drogs), in reality the chances are very soon they wont be able to play 3 times a week and there has been constant talk that atleast 1 of them will be leaving at the end of the season if not the next, so im thinking these 2 could be a potentially deadly partership. The next 3 years Torres will be 27-30 so the chances are he will hit his peak sometime then, Sturridge will hopefully (similar to Wilshere with Arsenal) come back more mature and ready for regular spells in the 1st team, One if right footed the other is left footed both have got good turn of pace and personally if they click we could see a very good partnership formed. Sturridge is not short of confidence and a run in the team at Bolton and a good goal return he could come back with his confidence soaring and ive been a big fan of his since his City days. This could be our strickeforce of the next few years and if Torres re-finds his form of 2008 and Sturridge reaches atleast 80-90% of his potential this could be a bloody good one. What's your views?
  4. What i think really annoying is that Wenger ONLY praises the opposition when they win. He should look at how Carlo conductes himself and hold his head in shame.
  5. This is looking like a great decision to loan him out
  6. Great man Great proffesional Great player Did a good job managing West Ham aswell especially in the 1st season he nearly got them into Europe. Would love him as Chelsea manager one day down the line (needs more experience 1st).
  7. Welcome mate and stick around
  8. Its his personal choice this just shows he more classier than the scousers. You can guarentee the 1st time he scores after the Liverpool match he will truly enjoy the moment.
  9. Wenger is a joke not to mention a shocking Hypocrite. He use to win the league with the dirtiest teams and now has the cheek to slate any team that dont come to the Emirates and play netball, Fabregas is a horrible little shite that guy has been well and truly Wengered so to speak. Do you also remember the constant attacks on Chelsea that made Jose call him a Voyeur? then he had the cheek to snub Jose when we next played LE Arse, Wenger had that comment coming, great coach but horrible individual.
  10. This is without doubt looking like an end of an era approaching, in the summer some new changes will be good. Sadly i think it is time for ONE of Drogba and Anelka to move on in the summer, love the pair of them but they are both well into their 30's. Thanks for the momories you will never be forgot. Hilario is out of contract i think, cant see him getting a new one if thats the case, gets a bit of unfair stick but apart from the City game he has never really played bad, good luck Henrique. Ferreira IMO i think its time to move on, been a brilliant servent for us but not the player he was and a move to the Portuguese league will be good for both parties. Zhirkov looks likely to leave aswell sadly. I may get lambusted for this but i think its time for Bossy to move on, he aint been great since his return (especially defensively) and i think if we can get around £10-12 mil we should bite the oppos hand off. As for his replacement Srna could be a free agent in the summer? thats expierence if we can get him in which we will need if this clear out is happening and will offer competiton for Brana at RB and is versatile, he could be a stop gap till Billy Clifford is ready. For players in we should bring in 1 of Lukaku or Neymar aswell as Alex Sanchez, am i the only 1 that thinks James McCarthy would be a good signing? If Gael Kakuta, Daniel Sturridge and Patrick Van Aanholt's loans are a sucess they will virtually be new signings. Jack Cork and Micheal Mancienne should be brought back as home grown versatile squad players. We can name a unlimited number of U21's, why not take advantage of that and name alot of this years and the winning last season Youth Cup teams in next season's squad. This is roughly the squad we should be looking at naming. NHG = Non homegrown HG = Home Grown Petr Cech (NHG) Branislav Ivanovic (NHG) Ashely Cole (HG) David Luiz (NHG) Micheal Essien (NHG) Ramires (NHG) Frank Lampard (HG) Fernando Torres (NHG) Yossi Benayoun (NHG) Didier Drogba/ Nicolas Anelka (NHG) John Obi Mikel (NHG) Neymar/ Lukaku (U21) Florent Malouda (NHG) Djario Srna (NHG) Alex Sanchez(NHG) Soloman Kalou (NHG) Ross Turnbull (HG) Daniel Sturridge (HG) John Terry (HG) Josh McEachran (U21) James McCarthy (U21) Alex (NHG) Gael Kakuta (U21) Patrick Van Aanholt (HG) Jeffrey Bruma (U21) Jack Cork (HG) Micheal Mancienne (HG) Matej Delac (U21) Billy Clifford (U21) Conor Clifford (U21) Milan Lalkovic (U21) Nataniel Chalaboah (U21) Danny Papoe (U21) George Saville (U21) Maybe another expierenced versatile midfielder. We can name unlimited U21's so come the summer Carlo should take full advantage of that and name a big squad. there will be a miz of the... - Expierenced - Early - mid 20's - Youngsters who are knocking on the 1st team door - Youngsters who are just starting out What do you think?
  11. Lalkovic if he carries on will be taking over from Drogba as the chief Arsenal basher :champions:
  12. I really hope Kakuta can do well at Fullham and transfer his confidence to Chelsea. THe French rate him highly and we have a hell of a player on our hands.
  13. Out of the squad we had when we won our 1st title for 50 years in 2005 there are only 5 players that currently remain. Petr Cech John Terry Paulo Ferreira Frank Lampard Didier Drogba In the summer the chances are Ferreira is going to be moved on, there's even a few stories that Drogba will aswell. I know it was always going to happen in the end but to me there is a bit of sentimental sadness when great teams get broken up and if Paulo and Drog go we will be down to 3 players from 04/05
  14. 15. Makes me laugh that they call us bitter for even mentioning Robin Van Pesie's criminally offside goal at Stamford Bridge.
  16. From what ive heard Conor could have atleast had a hat-trick today
  17. Personally i think that with a champions league trophy the club will start promoting more youth and look more long term.
  18. Real Madrid star Pepe is stalling on a new contract because of interest from Chelsea, according to reports in Spain. The central defender is out of contract in 2012 and has been in talks about a new deal at Real Madrid since the turn of the year. But Pepe is now considering his options after hearing about a possible switch to the Premier League champions. It has been reported that Chelsea owner Roman Abramovic wants to see Pepe at Stamford Bridge and could be ready to sanction a deal for the defender. Chelsea would be able to offer him a contract next January and pick him up for free next year. But if he makes his intentions clear by rejecting a new contract at Real, Chelsea might be tempted to bid for him this summer. http://www.talksport...er-move-chelsea Would you welcome him to Stamford Bridge?
  19. Hi fellow Blues, great win tonight (boy i shit myself in the last 10 minutes). Actully great couple of days infact. We should take our season step by step for the rest of the season IMO. We shouldont let ourself's talk about a late title push just yet. - We should look at consolidating a top 4 place and getting clear of Spuds and Sunderland. - Defo try and win the FA Cup again (Its the oldest and most prestigous domestic knockout competition ill personally love to win it again). - Make a push into the top 3 because if the unthinkable happens and Spuds win the Champions League (gives me shrudders just thinking about it ) 4th place wont be enough. - Go for the Champions League the players really want it this time i think, if we get the 1st Champions League trophy in the bag we should be able to focus more long term. - Consolidate a top 2 place if we can. - Beat Manchester United at Stamford Bridge and THEN maybe we can start thinking about a late push at keeping our title. 1 step at at time is the way to go with our season now me thinks.
