  1. Why do i support Chelsea? Because i do, i'm a full believer in you dont pick your club they pick you, i can't actually remember how my love for Chelsea started all i can remember is it started when i was roughly 3 years old and never stopped since, i reckon if you just look at a league table of a listings of football clubs and pick one you wont have the same passion as you do if the club picks you. My opinion anyway. Why do i hate Man.U, Arsenal and Liverpool? Mainly because their fans are arrogant little shits, the Utd fans that actully know football are pretty good but apart from that dont get me started, i hate the way they think they have a right to win because they have the "best history" (in Liverpool's case), play the "best football" (Arsenal, add to that the fact that the way their fans bleat on and show arrogance youd think they win the quad evrey year, atleast Utd fans can justify their arrogance in a sense) and just simply are the "best around" (Man.Utd, you get lots of those idiots in school).
  2. Although id be sad to see him go for a huge price it might be a good move. What we should do is play hardball put a £40m price tag on his head and see if any-one goes for him (i bet you City will ). Plus if Madrid make a £25m plus offer for Cole we should bite their hand off aswell.
  3. I bet we will play after Utd and Arsenal on the sunday against Newcastle, more pressure on us, great.
  4. I have to dis-agree with the latter, Stoch was without doubt good enough to be given a shot, i remember him coming on for us against Stoke 1-0 down 2 minutes to go he helped change the game, we won 2-1, similar in the FA Cup at Watford a month later, some would say he helped Scolari extend his job an extra month but he just wasn't prepared to fight for his place wanted to be the big fish in the small pond (bit like VDV, no coinsidence he is smashing it at Spurs and at Hamburg with the team built around him but flopped horrifically at Madrid). Sinclair i agree wasn't good enough but we could have got more than 500k for him ffs, Swansea are going to make a HUGE profit on this guy.
  5. Thats actually true, it would not suprise me if half of them just pretend they support the club the say they are, thats what internet annomisity can do, pretty sad really.
  6. I was talking to a mate (who is Brazillian) the other week who i use to play soccer 6's with, i asked about Neymar and is he worth the £35m price tag that was being labelled in the summer, he looked at me shaked his head and said you bastards, you get him for that much you will be fucking ripping Santos off. He apparently said its his dream to play for Chelsea and we have lots of Brazilians in our side these days, can't speak for evrey-one else but i will be absolutely DEVASTATED is with miss out on this lad. Infact that would be a massive mis-guided under-statement.
  7. How many of you guys from talk Chelsea have a 606 account? I personally don't (deleted mine way back in 2008) but i still follow it and look at the articles and people's opinion's from time to time, it was a good forum back in the day but these days 9/10 articles get ruined by twats who are there for no other reason but to wind people up (part of the reason i deleted mine). How many of you guys have a account on 606? quite curious to know to put names to faces (or accounts if you dont have a pic lol).
  8. Fair enough, its not really just turning 20 im worried about it's really quietly seeping to 30 then before i know it im 40 , the numbers feel shorter after 20 for some reason (well for me anyway) lol.
  9. Speaking of that what was it like turning 20? im turning 20 in less than a month and shitting myself lol
  10. Agreed but since France won in 98 only Germany was really expected to win at their own country and they got knocked out by a Italy team that got their tactics spot on, something similar will need to be done to turn Brazil over there imho. BTW what channel is Brazil V Scotland on?
  11. Fair point but even if all that does happen it will still be horrifically hard to turn over Brazil in their own back yard.
  12. although he has already played there and it didnt go to plan oh well 2nd time lucky
  13. Time for Luiz to cause havoc at the Emirates, 1st of many times he kicks ass at that ground
  14. While the ludicrous Di Santo the new Maradona claim (whichever journalist came to that conclusion should be sacked) has made people wary of these dubbed the new (fill blank here) predictions, but ive seen him a couple of times and he looks preety special. The Kaka comparisons are a bit extreme at the moment but mix the fact that he is from Sao Paulo, looks a bit like him, plays with freedom and is signed by Carlo Ancelotti there is naturally going to be a few murmurings. Given the low price tag £5m could rise to £10m based on appearances and progress, if he turns as good as his potential we have a world class player for next to nothing (in this current market) so i see it as a win win as £5m these days aint that much of a risk because if he "does a Sinclair" we could probally sell him on at a profit (although im sure it wont come to that) but if he pays off we could be sitting here with a world class player for peanuts while our rivals are fighting out over a £40m rated player. In short we could be sitting here laughing.
  15. haha true In all honesty in sick of the England football team, the so called fans that boo our players especially, i havent really felt passinate towards England matches since euro 2004, the only reason im refering to England as we is because im English.
  16. I know its a while away but i was just thinking the other day that i would not be surprised if Brazil end up being the shortest odds favorites in world cup history. The fact that they are host's and beating South American teams in their own back yard is one of the hardest things to do in football if not the hardest don't even begin to tell the story, our very own David Luiz and Ramires will be roughly hitting their peaks that year and not only that they will have Neymar who will be a matured 23 year old and possibly Lucas Piazon who will be 21, by the time the world cup comes Anderson should be miles better and Spurs Sandro (who i have to say has looked impresive for them so far) will be 26. Marcelo will be 25 and not to mention the promosing Da Silva twins at Man.Ure. Add that to other experienced players who will fall into the 29-32 bracket when this world cup comes, Danny Alves, Thiago Silva, Kaka, Macion, our Alex, Adriano for Barca aswell. Julio Cesar will be 35 which for a goallie is no age and Ronaldinho and Lucio will be 34 and 35 respectively, they wont be able to play every game but their expierence will be priceless, am i the only one that thinks Ronaldinho will use this home tournament to bow out? Also add to the not so healthy position other teams will probably be in. - England will be re-building, i don't think were be ready for this tournament IMHO 2018 will be our next BIG chance. - Spain's great team of the last few years will be getting on by then, the spine of Puyol, Iniesta, Xavi, Torres and Villa will all be in their 30's, i think they will be well and truly in the re-building process when this tournament comes along. - France and Italy are slowly recovering from the horror of WC 2010 that made England's tournament look like world beating but i dont think there have enough to trouble Brazil. same with Portugal. - Holland well have to wait and see, if they produce from good players and get a team ethic going they might get far, although i doubt there win it. - Argentina will probally love the thought of winning it in Brazil, they will be facing hostile atmosphere's near enough every game (Brazillians will sneek into the crowd to make it hostile for them i reckon). - Germany will probably be the only team i can see troubling them, as their team of the last WC (IE Ozil, Muller, Schweinsteiger, Neuer and Kadiera) will have an average age of about 27 and as a unit will be approaching their peak, although even they will find it really tough in South America. In all honesty i think these lot will be very hard to stop and for some-one to do it they will have to get their tactics near perfect. Its not impossible but i reckon Brazil will take some serious beating in this World Cup and if i was a bookie i would probably suspend betting on them winning it or make the odds seriously low and if some-one pulls it off and stops Brazil it will be a real achievement. What do you think?
  17. Heart says stay at Stamford Bridge for ever, head says we might end up having to look elsewhere eventually. My main concern about moving stadiums is that 4 or 5 years down the line we end up with a flash stadium named after a brand or an airline, beautiful stadium with plenty of internationals played there but when the shit hit's the fan every single Chelsea fan will still be pining for the Bridge (similar to Arsenal fans with the Emirates-Highbury).
  18. All in all i have to agree, Zola was wonderfull and on top form was just magic but in terms of consistency Lamps wins not just over Zola near enough any-one ive seen play in my lifetime. There is no one better at goals, assists and consistency from midfield than Frankie Lampard.
  19. Chezney dont come across as a nob, he is a fucking nob, looking at his twitter and his arrogance you would think he has the qualities of Cassilas, Canizares, Buffon, Cech and Schmeichel combined and times by 10. He has the POTENTIAL to be a great keeper and has got a good future ahead of him but he needs to shut the fuck up and let his performances do the talking.
  20. I think it goes back to the world cup when he was dropped for Pedro in the semi's and final cant have done much for his confidence.
  21. Jonjo Shelvey could be in trouble with Liverpoolmanagement. The Mirror reports Shelvey was forced to apologise to shocked fans last night after a picture of a penis was posted on his official Twitter page. The 19-year-old Liverpool star wrote: "Apologies for the picture one of my mates messing around with my phone! Sorry!" There is no suggestion that Shelvey posted the indecent image. But by 9pm last night his Twitter account, which had 55,000 followers, had been removed. Twitter user ENKAY posted: "Kenny Dalglish will not be amused with that tackle." http://aggbot.com/li...34013&r=tw&c=40 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- kind of amusing but i do feel sorry for him in a way, although im glad i didnt follow him
  22. Scousers are the biggest hypocrites going, they do realise Andy Carroll left Newcastle under an even bigger cloud. What i find really funny is that they claim there over Torres but still cant resist having a pop every 2 seconds, its like a bloke getting dumped by his missus, telling every one it was his decision and hanging outside her house every night. That bloke on soccer am was the same bloke that played Combo in this is England right? must have been 2nd nature to him that programme, set in the 80's and he is living in the 80's, perfect
