I have never seen a player hyped up for no reason than Kyle Walker is. He is without a doubt one of the worst defenders i have ever seen, can't defend, can't cross, can't position himself properly yet because he has a bit of pace and hits a good shot every now and again his one million other flaws in his game get forgotten (just like Bosingwa before his flaws became too obvious).

People were far to premature to call a power shift in North London because of this transfer market, it's still Arsenal 4th and Spurs 5th for me. What will be Tottenham's downfall is their defence, their fullback's can't defend to save their lives, Vertonghen isn't a good defender (a fact that gets covered up by his goals), Dawson isn't more than a squad player for a team looking to challenge for top 4 and Kaboul has been out for a year, there is no guarantee he won't go the same way as Essien. Lloris has been superhuman so far this season, but over-all Spurs have been awful.

If i was a Liverpool fan i would be pissed about this. They got a good player, but loaning him (aswell as the rumours about Piazon earlier this summer) off a club higher in the table is just another example of their reduced status. They are basically helping us develop him.

Liverpool still are no where near good enough compared to Tottenham and Arsenal, Wenger may have lost it in terms of fighting for trophies but he still knows how to get the job done as far as top 4 finishes are concerned. Tottenham are still better aswell than Liverpool, all over the pitch. The only reason Liverpool are talked about as top four contenders is because of their history, imagine if say Swansea had the team Liverpool had, no one would be talking them up as top 4 hopefuls, they are just not good enough, they will get 6th but even that will be by default (Everton taking time to adapt to Martinez).
