Losing at this stage to City first time round under Jose gave the club a kick up the backside and we went on a run which took us top of the league by a huge margain. Im not expecting the same again, but hopefully this serves as a wakeup call.

It was a Benitez team when we parked the bus against City, and lost.

He is 24 and has made over 200 career appearances, he has got enough experience. Ofcourse he will patient, he won't be a starter at any other club on par with us. he will get 20-30 games a season, medals around his neck playing for Mourinho, charmed life.

Torres has been shit every game apart from about 10 for his whole Chelsea career.

You have this weird thing against Eto'o, even when he had a good game against Cardiff, you tried to put down his performance.

Compared to Torres he looked like Henry.

This has already been touched on, but the Mazacar should not start together again. Causes us to be far too narrow and easy to defend and even score against, when it works (which is about 1 in 4 times) it looks really nice on the eye, but we will never be consistent with those 3 starting together most games imo. 2 of those 3 (add De Bruyne to that mix when he finds a bit of form) with Willian or Schurrle playing, for the sake of the balance of the side one of those two have to start every match. Infact i think it's time to give Willian a run in the side.

The competition is so high in the AM places, he knew that before he came back, what do you suggest we do? play him no matter what while players who are in form like Schurrle are kicking their heels in the stands. I think when Terry played under Benitez, he by in large played well, i think the fact he didn't play much under the Spaniard was more down to a problem behind the scenes between the pair than his form. Also it was easier for the media to say he was past it, as then they could justify why he is not playing for England.

I understand that, it's the bashing of Mourinho im a bit bemused by, not so much after last night but defiantly other times. and regarding your last point on your previous comment, we needed to close the game out and get an extra body in midfield with Ozil on, so it was out of Mata, Willian and KDB that needed to go off (unless we hauled off Eto'o and played Mata or KDB as a false 9 for the remainder), if not KDB,who out of the other two do you believe should have gone off?

For the record i like him and think he should play more, but we have won 8/9 and playing really, really well so that's good enough for me.

For the sake of the balance of the team, it should be Willian and Schurrle fighting for one spot while Mata, Oscar, Hazard and KDB fight for the other two.

and the only time he didn't score was when he came on as a 2nd half substitute.
