Moses is the player version of Roy Hodgson. Give him a team with no real ambition and he is in his element, take him to the top level and they get exposed.
-
Three times in recent weeks he has created something out of nothing and won us penalties when we have been in the shit. He created Schurrles opener against City. Last season was MOTM against Liverpool and scored the leveller, brilliant at the Ethiad, even the season before got us back in it vs United in the FA Cup. He has had one shot at the CL latter stages when he was barely fit so bit to early to judge him there. Not many attackers have ultra amazing big game records, there big games for a reason? Hazard has done his fair share against top teams.
-
Which is why he didn't make it here, Hazard has the free(ish) role and to supplement that the other two AMs defend and run around like dogs to maintain the balance of the team, that's why KDB didn't fit the system here purely because he isn't that type of player and as good as he is, him or Hazard? not even a contest. Mourinho just simply won't give two player's leeway from off the ball duty. I like him and hope he has a great career, his time at Chelsea was simply a case of wrong place wrong time.

I love how people think Terry s retirement is imminent, the way he's playing he could easily have another 3 years, he's nearly 34 and is still playing to an extremely high level. Ivanovic is 30 himself, by the time Terry retires he could have lost his place in the team due to decline himself, he won't be the next long term captain, im almost sure it will be Matic unless a HG player with massive leadership qualities creeps out of the woodwork. I can't understand how Cahill gets brandes about, him as captain will be a disaster.

Which Players Do You Regret Chelsea Selling?
Tomo replied to the wes's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Torres, I have no one to moan about now, i need my fix. -
The only way were regret selling him is if he reaches Messi level. He is most effective being the main man and for as long as Eden is around that simply wasn't going to happen here.

Moses got so much stick when he was here yet now he goes he is all off a sudden a good player, hilarious. Do people remember Moses? He was wildly inconsistent, frustrating especially in the league. Salah was actually pretty decent when he got some games at the back end of last season, while at the same time Moses was stinking Anfield out. He has had 2 carling cup starts and I think about 2 or 3 further appearances off the bench elsewhere, even KDB this time last year was getting more than that.

For some wierd reason managers are intent on emulating Peps Barca, without Barca players and not only that the game has moved on since then, even Pep himself has left it behind. Long may it continue because the more Barca wannabes in this league the better for us.
-
Sometimes I wonder how "random" fixtures even are, I remember once Tottenhams last home game was Blackburn for something like 4 or 5 season's out of 5 or 6, and last decade before there relegation we didn't travel to St James Park before April for like 7 years in a row including back to back last day games there. There's many coincidences I've noticed with the fixtures but there the main two that I can think off right now.
-
I hope we win the league at home to Liverpool then we can take the piss signing were going to win the league to them and follow it up with..... .... and unlike you lot and unlike you lot and unlike you lot we actually will.
-
All I can add to that is I hope all 3 stay in their current posts for a very long time to come.

Rodgers, Mourinho and Wenger all finished within 5 point's off each other last season and all 3 held teams that had glaring weaknesses that probably cost the title in the end. The difference the following summer is one manager went out and fixed the issue's while the other two have made theirs even worse. We still have a few minor issues like proactive centre half and inconsistent right mids but we had two major issues last term and Jose sorted it immediately.
-
The game has caught up and overtook Wenger and he couldn't keep pace.Him managing in 2014 is the equivalent of Giggs still playing last season, both great years back, but trying to prolong a career that peaked out years ago. If Wenger cared about Arsenal above all else he would hold his hands up and say ive had my day and go upstairs, but luckily for us he's too stubborn for that. He can't even use the money excuse anymore after his recent spurlgles and what Simeone has achieved on less money than Wenger's ever had against more expensive squad's than Wenger's ever faced (domestically).

Maybe my comparison with Inter was a bit far fetched for the reasons you gave however I do believe Pep had a real battle keeping the hunger levels up regardless off the stage in career his players were. Whether they mean to or not, players need a lot more motivation to win something again than they do the first time, especially straight after. Even as a supporter I can relate to that, I don't feel the same raw anxiety and desperation to win the CL now we've actually done it, I still desperately want to win it tho don't get me wrong.
-
Yes but he was hyped up beyond belief before he wore a blue shirt. Hazard has proved his quality in a Chelsea shirt time after time yet supposedly isn't doing enough.
-
They were probably the same people who thought KDB was the second coming off Christ because he beat Lampard to a header in training. Re the finishing it's ridiculous that a winger is judged on goals, the way it's going i genuinely wouldn't be surprised if one of those suspects have a go at Azpilcueta for not shooting enough sometime in the near future.
-
For all this paranoia about Madrid being his dream move, wasn't he an Arsenal fan as a kid? I think it's safe to say he won't be rocking up there anytime soon.
-
I know it's early but what a good feeling it is that all our potential title rivals are constantly slipping up. No disrespect to Southampton, our closest contender being 8 point's behind feels good, 2 years ago we were looking over our shoulders at Arse and Spurs because top 4 was in jeopardy.
-
Lovren is actually a good defender, even Thiago Silva would look crap playing under Brendan Rodgers, the guy has no clue how to coach defending. Maybe not worth 20m but he's a lot better than he's showing here.
-
He hasn't actually had it easy. Barca he inherited a mess and turned it into one of the greatest teams off all time. In Bayern, taking over a treble winning team doesn't make the job easier, if anything it makes it harder (look at Rafa with Inter), how do you motivate player's who have just won it all to not only go again but buy into new ideas? I can't stand Pep but as a manager he is an absolute genius, I fear the day him and Simeone take over at one of our competitive rivals.

When I lose to my best mate on fifa but have more possession I joke about moral victory and playing within the spirit of the game and can't even keep a straight face for a second, it's quite surreal that they are actually being serious when they say it.
-
The tactical arrogance of Pellegrini and Rodgers is starting to catch up with them. They both think there teams should only play one way regardless of the oppo. The City CSKA match for example, CSKA turned up in Manchester with a game plan, executed it to perfection and got the points, Pellegrini just rolled out his default tactics. Purists who have this arrogant way off "we only play this way" are ruining the game. Yeah it looks good when there teams click but when it's not going right they don't know what to do and have the mentality off "we were smashing teams 8 months ago keep doing this were start doing the same again".
-
Steve McLaren was better for England than Hodgson currently is.
-
Theirs even been amazing striker's with poor goal records, Bergkamp for example. The fact that a winger is getting judged by goals is absolutely laughable, it really is. Goals should be a bonus for a winger, not a primary requirement. The main requirements for a winger Hazard doesn't just tick all the boxes, he smashes them, we have been waiting years and years for such a special player like him, for as good as our double winning team was the one element it did lack was a special naturally gifted footballer like Eden. Finishing isn't his strong point of course not, but I'd rather he doesn't get to cut up on that, where a lot of footballers go wrong is they spend to much time trying to improve there not so strong points they neglect their best elements. I find it criminal that he will probably have to leave Chelsea for some of his own supporters to realise how good he is.
-
That's a fair assessment although on the other hand with the start they have had they can lose most of those and still be there or there abouts. Also they have mastered the flat track bullying almost to perfection, which as we know takes some doing.
