Seconded, if we can do it that way ill send five pound maybe even ten next week when i get back to England.

I think Cech will stay until the end of the season, leave with a proper goodbye and (hopefully) a league winners medal. If he does go to Arsenal hopefully we insist Ospina is part of the deal, saves us the hassle of having to search for a new one.

We have had a little blip this season (well i say blip, as much of a blip as it can get for a team unbeaten in 20 games) between the second and third international break, we weren't playing that well (Marinbor at home aside) were picking up a few annoying injuries and were really grinding out the wins (QPR at home wasn't very pretty at-all). In the last few years we dropped down in terms of performance at some point in the October/November time, unlike the previous years tho, this year we have kept up the results through the performance drop. If the last two games are anything to go by, we are well and truly over this "blip".

Those Brendan quotes last night are straight from the school of Hodgson.

Let's hope we made that loan deal watertight, AC are probably going through it with a fine tooth comb as we speak.
-
I think the suspension goes up to ten games within the next few weeks, so Jose will tell them to just hold out until then and not make un necessary reactions off the ball, or coincidently pick up the 5th the game before Derby.

My biggest worry a couple of season's back is we were losing a real spine and identity to the team, 12/13 was a little baby step back in the right direction after two years of stagnant and stale football, Hazard, Oscar and Azpi helped breath some fresh energy into a stale side but for me their was a massive concern as we had no prime players (well none at the level needed to challenge at the very very top) and no real spine which helped massively our success of 2005-2010. Our squad was so unbalanced and so unorganised even Jose needed a year to sort it, but boy has he sorted it. In Tibo, Terry, Matic, Cesc, Oscar, Hazard and Costa he has set us a spine ready to challenge at the very top for the next few years (i honestly don't believe Terry's retirement is as close as people think) and with Jose hopefully staying for the duration this time, he will replace the players before it becomes an issue and we stagnate again. I can never tire of saying just how lucky we are to have this guy at this club, no more signing un needed players, no more Torres playing 90 minutes every game, no more player power, no more Maloudas of 10/11 playing shite strolling through games and getting picked regardless the next time, no more unbalanced squads, get in!!!
-
The best part about his game is if a pass isn't on he just dribbles forward almost effortlessly, although i don't think Mikel is as bad as general opinion suggest's, Matic is just on a complete different level.

We did tone it down a bit in the second half, we still ended up scoring two more but we were less full on in terms of the energy we let out compared to the first. It's the right thing to do, what if we did go all out and beat WBA 6-0 and ended up tanked for this one and lost? we would have put ourself's under unnecessary pressure in the last group game for the sake of a bit more fun, yes sometimes it can be a bit meh when we cruise in second half's and take what we have, but theirs a reason we do that, an extra half an hour of fun or a title at the end of the season? not even a contest. I remember Liverpool last season, they were 4-0 up in the Derby against Everton and went all out for more, they didn't get more and ended up putting in a lethargic performances at West Brom the following weekend which cost them two precious points. A couple of 2-0's >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> 6-0 and 1-1

He was good at right back, but personally i believe he has got to the extra level since going to left back. and like i said to MrExcalibur100, i think him not being as good going forward from left back is more down to instructions given Ivan's freedom on the right.
-
Is that because he is not good going forward or was it instructions? Ivan practically plays like a winger half the time so it would make sense for the team balance if Azpi was told to sit. The few times he has gone forward last season he has hardly been this non existent forward player, as emphasised by his assist to Costa vs Villa and his run vs Liverpool which set up the winner. At the start of the season i thought it would only be a matter of time before Luis won the place and after Cesar's red against Palace i thought he gave it to Felipe on a silver plate, however it hasn't quite worked out like that and since Cesar's return we have gone back to our form from September after a dodgy(ish) period between the Palace and Marinbor away game were we were grinding out the results. Things can change pretty quickly but right now the current back four is the best back four, in my opinion.
-
Similar in the Sporting game as well, he was constantly having a go at Schurrle for making poor decisions. Imagine if he ever played with Torres?
-
I love how people are having a go at the one's who had concerns over his return. I was one of them and those concerns were valid, outside of the FA and CL latter stages under RDM he wasn't that good for his last two seasons and wasn't blowing the world away with Gala. Ok i was wrong as a squad player he is quite invaluable in this squad but people really really need to stop confusing constructive concern with disrespect.
-
Felipe Santana is such a poor defender, if we keep targeting him were have a field day here.
-
I feel a bit more confident about this game now. From what I've heard Schalke haven't been defending very well and if the defending is anything like in Robbies full time spell here or his WBA team I can't see us not exploiting that.
-
I love how it's a general assumption Azpi will just move back to right back, he's been much better at left back for Chelsea.
-
In another video he asked David Baddiel if Jose is the man to calm Diego Costa down and suggested Rafa might be the one to do so Baddiel didn't know whether to laugh or cringe.
-
Don't get me wrong I'm not saying he better than JT, i do think he was better than Vidic when he was at his very best but that's for another argument.
-
In real life he's beyond stupid but on the pitch no way did he lack intelligance, he went a few years without committing a single foul at one point and was rarely if ever forced into making last ditched tackles, he always use to sense danger before it even became a remote problem. I hate the bloke but a prime Ferdinand (06-09) was one of the best around.
-
It amazes me how he can have the mentality he does, moaning about not feeling important was just unbelievable and made me dislike him even more than i did while he was here, its like me working in a supermarket for 3 years, being one of the worst workers they have ever had then fucking off to another because they weren't making me important He got unbelievable leeway given how crap he was and the shite he kept spouting, I'm not one for turning on Chelsea players but i will never regret making an exception for this clown, i genuinely can't stand the sight of him.
-
Im disagree about his commitment, most of the time his attitude was an absolute disgrace, and his interviews which reading between the lines always said "its someone else's fault, not mine" didn't help things, i wonder where he got that mentality from. If the worse comes to the worse he will get the Malouda treatment, no way will Jose have him back to the squad.

Its not reverting back to type its being sensible, that's why this team will go far under Mourinho, because we can play literally whatever tactic is nessesesery, we dominated on Saturday against West Brom like we were Pep's Barca yet played a complete opposite game at The Ethiad. That kind off adaptability in the modern game is gold, you see Arsenal, City and Liverpool fans moaning about no plan B in their team, well we don't just have plan B we have plans right down to ZZ.
-
Indeed, we got ourselves in such a mess even Mourinho needed a year to sort us out. Looking at our squad in 11/12 it's amazing we recovered so quick, Munich meant so much more than just the trophy.
-
When you think to how much Vidic (a year younger than Terry) is struggling for Inter Milan, then it makes you realise just how well Terry is doing to maintain the high level he has been doing.
-
I'm going to jump in at the deep end here, bringing Benitez In as interim was spot on for the evolution of the club, even more so in hindsight.
