Are our current batch of players still gutless and lacking leadership?
-
If you look like a non league footballer in those 60 minutes then you don't deserve a "fair" chance.

He was the main striker in pre season and started the season as the starting striker and was beyond awful. He played in the Community shield vs Arsenal and the home League game vs Burnley and fucking wack in both, no one is expecting him to be Messi but we do expect him to resemble a professional footballer. He was losing the ball nearly every single time he got it and wasn't making movements or honest work out of defenders which in turn made our whole attack easier to handle. The following week he scored an own goal and thought it was funny to joke about it (even if he ultimately got away with it, it wasn't funny) then in September more chances, Qarabag again he was terrible, well taken goal at the end but his performance was woeful he was okay va Forest but again had a big chance vs Palace and quickly reverted to failing to even look remotely like a footballer. Put him 1 on 1 from since yards and he will tuck it away ill give him that, but beyond that he's rubbish.

Everytime i see Barca play a European away match there's a 10-20 minute sometimes half an hour spell when they are seriously on the ropes (even under Pep that was the case, remember those 2 games at The Emirates that turned from cakewalks to 1 draw and 1 defeat in the last 20?), if/when that happens Tuesday we must punish them, how we do in that spell could be what decides the whole tie. Also i heard when the draw was made Semedo's suspended, huge boost if so.

Shit sorry my mistake its on BT.
-
Yep.
-
Not usually a part of the young player cult but im a bit annoyed Hudson Odoi isn't getting a start.
-
If we can con £30m or even 20 for him it would be the best bit of business we ever do.
-
Conte has done a lot of things i don't like this season but you are talking rubbish saying he got lucky with the title last time out.
-
So two cup semi finals weren't important?
-
Wait, so now he's not starting every game?
-
Yet he didn't start every game, and won't start every game from now till the end.
-
No he won't, but you already know that.
-
Was that aimed at me? No i wouldn't as long as the team and squad were evolving well. Personally i would choose a solid 2nd/3rd place finish with good performances for most of the season over any knockout trophy bar the Champions League.

I have to disagree with that. Poch took over an even more flawed Spurs side with players like Capoue, Paulinho, Soldado, Adebayor in it but froze out the shit and built around the quality assests to build the side he has, he even managed to make a player out of Danny Rose who was previously the butt of everyone's jokes. With us at a financial disadvantage to City for the forseable future and the likes of Mount, Ampadu and CHO knocking on the first team door a coach like Poch would be the perfect for us, but sadly he'll never come here.
-
Not taking away from Spurs's performance but Juve let them play too, their approach after going 2 up was ridiculous.
-
Even after Mourinho left the overwhelming majority wanted Pep or Simeone, i think 1 person on here called for Conte and got universally laughed at.It was only after the links to him became serious and Juve fans joined Chelsea forums to give us insight on Antonio people came round to the idea.
-
AVB got no support? When he got sacked fans were widely blaming player power and even disowning Lampard
-
If it was up to the fans Conte wouldn't have been appointed in the first place.
-
Giroud going to drive me nuts, capable of the sublime one minute (his highlights reel makes him look as good as Messi) but really really bad play the next, how many times did he lose the ball second half before going off?
-
Darren Bent has more goals in the PL than Dennis Bergkamp despite playing 100 games less. If that doesn't stop people comparing players purely on goal stats, nothing will!!
-
Bamford never had any potential, the hype over him was hype a younster for the sake of it territotry, infact i'd argue all those players you listed were overrated bar Tammy.
-
But on the flip side, player's like Ferreira genuinely love everything about Chelsea but we would have shafted him for a superior player in a heartbeat if offered.
-
That's a fair enough point but we are hardly talking amateur's here and those players were probably still reasonably high on his list. Not that Enrique is my first choice but that's an incredibly harsh assessment, he may have had MSN but to win a treble then a double shows he's clearly got something about him and solely crediting the team can only work to a point.

You talking about Cech? Even if Courtois left a year after he did we made the correct decision, Petr is a legend but was well well past his best.
