The first six months I can cite the Atletico, Roma, United, West Brom, Newcastle and Atletico again performances that would all be in his overall top 20. As for the injury season , he played through injury up until he finally cracked in December , Hiddink managed his recovery properly which eventually led to his recovery in form.
-
No he didn't "fall of the map" in two of them. The first of them he was playing through injury and last season he was playing some of his best football in his career for the first half of the season
-
He was playing with an injury in that period.

Van Gaal actually had a relatively positive first season at United and it looked like he would do good, it was the second season things went South. If Sarri has a similar second season then fair enough, no arguments, he goes.

When all 3 players have been available and Sarri has picked a striker. Huddersfield away and Arsenal home Hazard was on the bench due to not yet being fully fit and Willian not Pedro made way when Eden came on. Newcastle away Hazard and Pedro Bournemouth at home Hazard and Willian United at home Hazard and Willian but was Pedro's first game back after injury Palace at home Hazard was on the bench again as not fully fit, Willian was, like the first two games, the one to make way. Everton home Hazard and Willian Spurs away Hazard and Willian Fulham at home Hazard and Pedro Wolves away Hazard and Willian (but it was a rotated team where even Jorginho was rested) Spurs at home Hazard and Pedro Bournemouth away Hazard and Pedro Ok maybe Willian got the nod more than i realized but he's still been benched more times than an average "managers golden child" At absolute most Willian is an equal to Pedro and the myth Willian is an untouchable starter is just that. Unless Pedro has a long layoff or Higuain bombs so badly we have to go back to false 9 i'm sure he will be on the bench as much, if not more often than he starts. Kepa is a quality all round keeper, if he wasn't the media would be killing him. As for Jorginho, the Napoli fans on this link explain the situation with him better than i can. https://www.reddit.com/r/sscnapoli/comments/ahqt5a/questions_about_sarri_and_jorginho/#ampf=undefined

You mean the Willian that's he benches a significant amount of time when he plays a striker and Pedro is fit?

Klopp not stubborn? The guy that gave Lovren, Mingolet and Henderson years worth of second chances and didn't adress defensive weaknesses until his 5th transfer window? Also he doesn't really have a plan B either and stuck to his brand of football religiously even when results weren't going well, the key difference this season compared to the last three is he now has the squad to pull it off consistently. The reason the Sarri, Klopp and Pep comparisons are made is because it's believed that like those two Sarri is being a lot held back by unsuitable players for their brand of football, Napoli fans on Reddit are convinced thats the main cause and they are the best placed to judge. Now no one's saying he will definitely hit the same trajectory going forward but the early day comparison's are valid.

We have a serious mental problem when we have a setback especially when we fall behind, this season it seems to be the case more than ever. Yesterday was a major example of what I'm talking about, first half I thought we were actually very good, we should have been ahead and I was actually quite relaxed because we were in total control bar one misshap for the King counter chance and I felt we would eventually grind them down and win relitevely comfortably. Then we conceded early in the second half and we started panicking and second guessing ourselves and got beat comfortably, it happened similar in the Leicester game only on that occasion we didn't concede any more. I'm not sure why it's such a problem this year, but we seem to fall apart after a setback in ways I have never seen us do before.

He's back up here when everybody is fit.
-
Why not? Pedro is higher than him in the pecking order.
-
If you're referring to those 0-3 and 4-1 games this time last year he only played like half an hour of the first game while it was still 0-0.
-
No way, that type of approach was what started the decline at Arsenal.
-
I've liked it for the Eto'o and Costa bit but I couldn't disagree more with Torres, all things considered he's our worse signing in the modern era.
-
Ampadu played RB against PAOK.
-
Agree to sell if we can find a replacement and Bayern pay full asking price.

While i'd agree Sarri hasn't helped the situation, CHO would have likely had a move like this in his mind for quite a while and this would have likely occured even if he was made a regular (if he has decided on such a drastic career change based on not getting a few extra Europa, EFL Cup and cameo league appearances then he's an idiot who will likely fall short mentality wise ala Ben Afra or even Ballotelli).
-
Nothing to do with Sarri, if they were set on staying they would have signed deals before Sarri even arrived.

It is done (as good as) https://twitter.com/hlninengeland/status/1089472523304165382?s=21

He was very good for us last season because he suited Conte's football down to the ground, now he's back in the same position he was at Arsenal, while capable of moments of quality doesn't really fit in with the style.
-
The fact he's come here on a record breaking fee for a keeper and the media, pundits and opposition fans are leaving him alone is the biggest compliment he can get. The narratives wrote themselves for the anti Chelsea brigade, if he was even as much as needing adaption time they would have banged on about how he's a downgrade on Courtois (like they done with Baka/Matic even when the former was playing allright) while constantly citing Alisson as how to spend big money on a keeper properly.
-
Sorry my mistake got the dates wrong. Pogba rage quit United and went back, few years from now the circumstances could be completely different. Hypothetically we could have Lamps in charge who wants to centre his entire project around Callum, for a boyhood Chelsea fan that would be hard to turn down.
-
Klopp only "expieremented" with other players when he was given better options in the market. Have you forgotten how long Lovren and Henderson survived in his side as undisputed starters? Or how long Moreno and Klavan were playing a lot more than their quality deserved? The one positioned he tried to change was keeper and alas, Mignolet's replacement was even worse which only added to the issue. If Sarri buys a new LB and Alonso is still undisputed #1 then yes serious questions need to be asked but for now he deserves the benefit of the doubt because lets be real, Emerson has looked wack himself in most of his appearances.
-
Funny you mention Mbappe, as at the same age as CHO is now he made 11 appearances, Callum could well surpass that number as early as this coming weekend.

55 roughly in the stands behind the goal, 70 ish on the side stands but if you're relying on general sale you will likely be in the West Stand if you get a ticket atall. Have you already booked your flights? If not it may be worth holding fire until you know if we have made the Europa quarters as that would be another option on the 2nd if we get the home tie then. To give yourself the best possible chance of getting a ticket i would advice buying a membership or failing that create an account on the Shed End as they have many reliable sellers of tickets.

The plane believed to be carrying Cardiff's new record signing has vanished without a trace :/ https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-guernsey-46954922
