Honestly right now we are in a state where we're crying out loud for a signing even it means the most average player in the league ... I m sure that Ox is not the only option available out there ... what everyone is pissed (I believe) is that we didnt act much earlier in the window, surely Ox was not the first choice, would be 3rd/4th maybe 5th... Club should have identified the targets and have plan A,B,C,D ready ... I know plan A was Sandro and it didnt go as plan (i think we didnt try hard, just an opinion) but then what about plan B, C? It is how we acted in the window is what is disappointing when clearly we knew that we need to strengthen the team!!!

Was merely pointing out that if we did have an interest in him with Conte speaking to Ancelotti on it, the board was not able to make it happen and now he is coming to the PL whether he gets games or not is not a surety for any team.

Wenger is supposed to be a tactical manager (currently thats a joke right there), a thinking manager but his tactics are so primitive that it just makes u wonder what kind of club Arsenal are. Yesterday's game remained me very much of the Champions league QF between Juventus and Bayern where Conte’s 3 in the back was outsmarted by Bayern’s wingers (Robben and Ribery I believe, I don’t remember who the other was). They kept running behind the pockets of space left by the wingbacks with their blistering pace. Being a noob in terms of planning I always was impressed with 3 in the back and I really didn’t know at that time there could be a counter solution. That game was like an eye opener for me. Coming back to yesterday game it was very similar counter tactics, for me I drew parallel with the CL game. I just don’t get Wenger now, he didn’t change his formation for a good 15 yrs and now he moved to 3 at the back just because it is the flavor of the season without having personals to execute 3 at the back tactics. The club is in deep shit right now.

I feel that he wouldnt be effective in a single striker setup ... However, he will thrive with a 2 striker strategy or along side a attacking midfielder who wouldnt drift behind to defend. He has good movement in the box and eye for goal but he cant do a Costa for us if that is the expectation.

Have given up after so much hope from this window ... Board has ruined it big time at max we will do one and that too on the deadline day, cant see more than 1 average player coming in

3 points and really lucky one. Glad we won but we were very average in the field, clueless for most of time expect for small patches where we hit on counter in the second half. Chelsea needs to get reinforcements big time. Not sure about Morata today (maybe used to see Costa run up and down for most of the game) he's still seems in Spain it seems Bakayoko started very dicey but he actually grew in the game, hope he keeps doing. Rudigier seems to be best of the new lot today, full of passion, solid and no nonsense player. Loads of work to be done.

We need to keep possession right from the start of the second half to break Spurs's rhythm and not allow it to grow else we're will be in a spot.
