As has been said before on here by myself and others, Mata is similar to Silva in positions he can play, skills, etc. However, Mata is younger so the ceiling of his value/contributions is higher.

Barton is a cunt alright, but he is a different sort than Ashley. Joey has a malevolent streak to him. Whereas Ashley is just a prick and a moaner. However, I do agree that coming to Chelsea and AVB could change his attitude a bit. Not necessarily a risk I want to take, but you can't make any money holding the dice.

As I've stated before in this thread, I'm a big Mata admirer. He has a skill set similar to Silva with perhaps more pace. However, he is younger and therefore has the potential to be better.

Left footed player. Vast majority of his time playing out left. He can play in the hole, but tends to drift wide.
