  1. Zouma should cope with Vardy's pace, and Azpi won't get as owned as the rest of the league by Mahrez. That's pretty much their only strenghts. Our only opponent is ourselves on this one, counter-attacking football is dangerous against us, it all depends on our line-up, mostly on Cesc's presence, if he is there, I can see us dominating and losing, if he isn't, I can see us pressing them high, not necessarily having much of the ball but getting break opportunities. People forget that Leicester are 0-2-1 against the best oppositions, drawing against Tottenham, sharing points with United and giving away 5 GOALS against Arsenal at home, that's really a poor big games record for a title contender, so if people consider them so, well, they aren't, they have done an absolutely amazing job at beating everyone else, of all the non top 6 teams, this Leicester side must have the best one over the last 10-15 years, but they are yet to face Everton, Liverpool, City and ourselves in this first part of the season and had bad results against the other big guys.. They are doing the best you can do as a non Top 6 side, but that's it, they are the best of the rest until they gain enough points from their next 4...
  2. Actually, the mini-league is really used till it's not possible anymore to separate the teams, same mini-league goal difference, same mini-league goals scored and same mini-league discipline score. That's when they go to general goal difference.
  3. Thought our main problems were with this guy, what if it's even more than what i thought...
  4. Absolutely not, some people disappear when the results are good and reappear when we lose, I'm not talking about you. And that saddens me, because pretty much everyone here can have fair points, but the fact that they feel the need to express their anger and criticize Mourinho and everything Chelsea related more than celebrating victories and stating the positive points really annoys me. I don't have problems debating with people, just don't disappear and come back reigniting the subject when it suits you the most, eg. when we are losing, I hate that.
  5. Same people who disappeared after Norwich and showed up post Bournemouth.
  6. Inconceivable: Mourinho talks about football with Diego Costa This killed me
  7. Fabregas will never dream of Mikel's ball protection and anticipation, he has a 20 times better IQ.
  8. Dear Cesc, Please Fuck Off. Sincerely Yours. A random guy who certainly protects his ball and defends better than you.
  9. And Thibaut is back, he should help us organize our defense better, and pull off a few miracle saves here and there to boost us. I, personnally, wouldn't be surprised to see us challenging for the title in the last 5 or 6 games, it looks crazy but it isn't if we recover our normal form ( which we are ), given that all the big teams are dropping points.
  10. A few weeks/months. We are already harder to beat and collecting clean sheets on the road, we are two-three weeks late in our recovery schedule as we had a couple of unfortunate games ( Stoke, West Ham ), but we're getting there in a really important phase. As José said, wouldn't be surprised to see the team unbeaten in the next 10 if we are as solid as yesterday. In our next 5, we have 3 home PL games, Bournemouth, Sunderland and Watford, 1 away PL game at Leicester and 1 tie breaker at home against Porto, I think this serie could do wonders to our confidence.
  11. The lions will me smaller and more discrete than the Russia kit, check out the leaked picture again.
  12. And people will have u know that he is a stubborn manager.
  13. Well it looks like we will be getting a new striker in January
  14. I think he has officially dropped everyone under-performing didn't he ? Except for Ivanovic, who has been good since his come back.
  15. This guy has just dropped our main striker, who everyone is criticizing here, thus accomodating Hazard with a number 10 role more frequently as he would have help around.. Of course, no one bats an eye, again
  16. Where is he anyway ? We never see him when the team is winning.
  17. Chelsea board, sign this man as a technical director, sign him up now !
  18. Of course people will quote and discuss what they want from his interviews, why am I even bothering ?
  19. Nope. You can't risk your season on the assumption that you will win a European competition, as it depends on a lot of factors, which makes our decision on 2012 pretty unreasonable, yes extremely lucky, and turned out pretty euphoric, still unreasonable. The way we threw away the Newcastle game at home ( Papiss' screamer ) was a joke btw. And don't even get me started on the FSW who took a team 3rd in the league within 4 points of the leaders and made it 20 points by the time United lifted the trophy, just to focus on a not-that-important Europa League trophy and most of all on the FA Cup, where we would get knocked out in the semi-final, playing extra games and winning fuck all from the competition in the end. Fuck I just remembered why i hate that wanker. I'm not shitting on the Europa League, I really celebrated it hard, but those 2 years were awful decision making, pathetic. Mourinho came back to ensure we don't find ourselves in those positions again to begin with, we do now, so he should take the right decisions, and that would be get back to the top 4 in the league as soon as possible. So yeah, you should always favour the league, as your final result is made on the basis of your record after 38 games, and not a couple of unfair penaltys in a semi-final knockout, except if you don't have much to hope from the league anymore, and we can't say that about ourselves, with only 1/3 of the season played. At this moment it might look like our best hope, but a couple of home wins and a draw at WHL and we would be within acceptable distance of top 4.
  20. @Rhino's Skin, Nop, If we draw and Dynamo win, they go first, because they have the best Goal difference in the 3 teams mini league. If we draw and Dynamo fail to win, there is only us and Porto with 11 points, Porto go first as they beat us in head to head ( 2-1 in Porto and an aventual draw in SB ). They can qualify no matter the result against us if Kiev fail to win, which is pretty unlikely, so yeah, it's pretty fair to assume they need to win, or draw/lose and risk depending on the other game..
  21. I'll take what TalkChelsea published and complete the weirdest scenario, you're welcome And yea I really have nothing to do with my life Most Complex Scenario : Chelsea draw and Kiev win --> All teams level on 11 pts --> Points gained, then goal difference, then goals scored to rank the three teams, based on the matches played between them exclusively, as stated by the Uefa Rules. To sum it up : No matter the score of the draw with Porto, it is 1 pt for each, and it doesn't change the particular goal difference between the teams. If we do draw AND Dynamo fail to beat Maccabi, we qualify automatically second behind Porto, because they own us in th Head to head. -> Porto has been the best in our direct games with them. If we do draw AND Dynamo win, NO MATTER THE SCORE, we qualify second. --> Dynamo have been the best in the games played between the three teams. It might seem a little complex, but it really isn't. Win, we go first, automatically. Draw, we go second, if Kiev win in this case, they go first, if they fail to win, Porto goes first.Lose, we're out ( it's pretty certain that Kiev will beat Maccabi.. )
