  1. Ramires has today joined Chinese Super League club Jiangsu Suning in a permanent transfer. http://www.chelseafc.com/news/latest-news/2016/01/ramires-departs.html?extcmp=SOCIA_FB_ENG_NEWS_OTHERNEWS
  2. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA I'm not even gonna...
  3. RLC wasn't playing loads of minutes in the Premier League anyway, that would just mean more minutes for him ( Ramires' role ), without a need to cover his own role ( which wasn't important at all ). Let's all have crazy faith and hope RLC starts against PSG in the first leg, Matic is suspended and Mikel-Fabregas is aw weak as a big-game midfield can be.
  4. Heynckes's Bayern >>> Pretty much any team in the last 20 years except Pep's Barcelona. So yeah, doesn't say an awful lot really.
  5. This misconception of "easy" jobs is really annoying me tbh. If people think Pellegrini has an easier job than, say Toni Pullis, then they really should reconsider all the difference in pressure and expectations in both jobs. The teams avoiding relegation (not necessarily West Brom) do have pressure and expectations not to go down, but people don't give them as much stick as they would give to favorites when they don't achieve, and that's quite normal, because no matter how much small teams spend nowadays, the expectations and investement of the title favorites will always be higher, and thus less tolerant to failure. What are the two hardest jobs in club football at the moment ? Can anyone argue it's not Barcelona and Real Madrid ? Aka two teams within top 3 budgets in the world and with the best transfer appeal to world class players ? And the "Bundesliga is easy" excuse is just as wrong, Guardiola is really good at analyzing teams defensive weaknesses and coming up with out of the box offensive mechanics to break them up, that's why his sides always look this dominant in their leagues ( the only thing i can concede is that he had a supernatural footballer in his Barcelona days, which made it a bit easier as that dude gives his team an incredible aura due to his inevitable danger ).
  6. Bring back Kalou for the experience, sell overrated players like Hazard, Matic, give Fabregas the armband and buy a bunch of Barcelona rejects, Bojan, Affelay, Munir... We might have a go at CL then.
  7. Might not mean much, but the Atletico transfer ban could mean that their squad stays the same over the next year and a half. Simeone already stated he was really happy in Atletico and now with the ban, I don't see the Colchoneros giving him green lights as an eventual manager would surely require even the slightest change of personnel. Doesn't change a whole lot in the matter, but just makes me believe more and more that this one might be out of reach this season.
  8. For his inconsistency at the moment, Hazard owes more to Chelsea than the opposite really, along with all his team-mates, this generation will always owe a lot to the fans for what they have done in the last 6 months. It's not what you say, but you make it sound so, he holds os from a fall of mediocrity ? Oh please, we have been long successful without him and will be as ever when he leaves, and if he had been in the bracket of players you're implying he is in, we would be as successful with him in the team. We put in our best performance of the season without him this weekend eh, it's the old system that made us rely that much on him, with more freedom to Cesc, Willian and Pedro now, we are way less predictable.
  9. Well since Benitez is leaving, guess Isco's staying, especially if Zidane is the new coach as reported, huge fan of the spaniard. Too bad for us :/
  10. Of course, never spoke about the Champions League By the way our CL was exceptional wasn't it ? I think we were standing almong the best third ranked teams throughout the history of the CL Groupe phase or something ?
  11. Mourinho took the same team within 4 points of the champions ( and a couple of dropped points at home on the road ), and to the semis of the CL. Not comparing Mourinho to Benitez, the comparison doesn't even stand for me, but saying that he had a bad team, maybe, I'd even say for sure since it showed its limitations afterwards, but he had the team to at least challenge for the title till the last 3-4 games.
  12. I don't know about that, I think a lot of managers would have done a better job. I can't forgive joking about our fans then losing to QPR at home, no, I just can't...
  13. 3 points of United when he took the team. 15 points off the champions in the end of the season. That's just horrible.
  14. The debate for Europa League only stands today because of the opportunity of that winning it gives you, playing the Champions League. That wasn't the case at the time and I celebrated it madly as well, but we were playing really, really bad against teams like Prague and needing injury time winners at home to qualify, doesn't mean it's a "bad win", just means that we were really lucky and that Di Matteo would have probably won it as well.
  15. When will the "Rafa did well for us" myth stop ? Chelsea was 3 points off the top when he came, in the run for winning the Club world cup and in the two english Cups as well. He finished 15 POINTS off the champions, that is a disgrace, even we, in this disastrous situation have only 19 points off Arsenal at the moment, I don't think people here realize how bad he coped with the Premier League... Won the Europa League, struggling against the likes of Rubin Kazan and needing an injury time winner against the likes of Sparta Prague... We really don't care, we had better objectives, which were mainly qualify for next season champion's league, but also challenge for the title, we lost FA Cup semis, Carling cup semis and CWC final while getting -12 points under him on the league...
  16. Now sign Isco and see Oscar putting it a Ballon d'Oresque 6 months This boy should be our number 1 priority, golden feet and big heart.
  17. No matter how much they love each other, some couples are just not meant to be..
  18. I don't think anyone noticed that, and I know we aren't all totally believeing they could do it. But I just noticed that Leicester play their last Premier League game at the bridge... Let's hope they win it the week before, or they don't win it at all...
  19. We got three, two are injured and one is suspended. Except for the multiple yellows Costa has got this season, I don't think you can blame anyone, let alone our "transfer and youth policy". What are we supposed to do, have 6 strikers in the 25 ?
  20. Remy is injured. Fabregas has a fever apparently, but we're better off without him.
  21. Balanced midfield, Hiddink said it the other day, this team is way too offensive, and it's good, but in order for that to be effective we need players to help us retain the ball in midfied, it's ironic, but with Cesc on the pitch and the double pivot, we don't keep the ball enough, thus giving it away and exposing ourselves ( or having to sit back and protect our really, really slow and bad Back 4 ). And Ramires isn't a destructive player, as a Box to box in a three man midfield he could be really really good, that's his original position, Matic with more freedom wouldn't feel the need to cover for himself and Fabregas, so he we would press more, have more of the ball and thus more control of the game.
