if you're turning guys like KDB into RB then looks like you'll only settle for ronaldo and messi for your wings then, fair enough if the player at young age is still developing and has shown the tactical nous and the attributes to be played as a fullback but when you're an established member of your national team, even more so one of the best players and then turning him into a fullback makes absolutely no sense to me

Chalobah and KDB are nothing alike, not sure how Chalobah comes into this discussion. Chalobah is a Ramires replacement. Whereas, KDB and Oscar if deployed in a 3-man midfield are Lamps replacement. Chalobah would never replace KDB and vice versa, they would play together if anything.

17M not so bad, thought it was 22M-24M before. Not so bad considering Moses was 12M with one year left on his contract. Nah, Mata is fine the way he is. Why turn him into a Siilva and Cazorla when you have Oscar who very easily can end up better than both and is a similar player but even better defensively. Mata has excelled as a second striker high up the pitch, we should keep him there. His stats were out of this world. However, you are correct that we lack control in possession but instead of asking Mata to help, we should ask more of our midfield instead. Keep Mata high up the pitch where he can do the most damage.

At the moment, you'd have to say City are favourites for the title. We def need some top signings to eclipse them. No, there won't be any permanent damage. It's just hard to guage how healthy it is until you push it and often times that results in aggravating the injury. A decent rest and resisting the urge to get back into training is what he needs to do. Otherwise, it will resurface again because like you said, he's such an explosive player.

Mata is best as a number 10 but I don't see why he can't play on the wings as an inside forward. He played on the wings for Valencia his whole career. He'll expose that flank defensively but that's when the 3 man midfield helps out where you play Ramires whichever side Mata is on so he can cover for him.
