Zouma is still very raw. He needs an experienced partner to play with. I can see Varane starting right away if he comes, but Zouma will take some time to become undisputed first choice. I can even see him being loaned out in Jan if he doesn't get enough starts with Terry, Varance and Cahill available for CB.

Not sure why people keep taking it as a given that Costa will again have an injury riddled season. He has a chance to get his surgery and rehab before next season. He should be completely healthy coming into next season.

You won't get a loan, get horrible interest rates if you ever need to get a mortgage, etc. Now if you don't anticipate any large purchases where your credit may be reviewed, then there probably isn't a need for a credit card. These were post-season friendlies for the senior players who played every single minute of the premier league season but not for the youth/reserve guys. For them, these have got to be some of the most important minutes of their season. If I'm one of those guys, I'm not sure how these wouldn't be hugely important for me. I'd have been jumping for joy when these friendlies got announced thinking I'd get changes to play for the first team.

This shows that RLC is in Jose's plans and he's now getting his expectations across to him (and indirectly to everyone else). Jose's moved on from if and when should i integrate RLC into the squad, to he's now part of my squad but now how can I get him to improve and consequently improve my squad? Hope RLC takes his advice and puts in the work because he definitely needs to improve a lot if he wants to be a squad player next season.
