  1. We can't act that smug over replacing Robben with Malouda mind, we've not seen an awful lot of Florent either. Hopefully he'll stay fit from now on though, and get a bit of form. He's definitely a talented player, though he'll never top Robben at his best.
  2. I reckon Woods could get into our team in the future. Mancienne looks unlikely the way things have gone unfortunately, but he'll be in the Premiership one day whether it's with QPR or another team. Jimmy Smith doesn't seem good enough at all, we'll only use him if forced to.
  3. He get a job at the next average to below average Prem side to be without a manager.
  4. If you've jinxed us I'm going to kill you
  5. Yeah you've got the right idea though, we could use frappr
  6. Well he mentioned Europe so I left that, I forgot about Bahrain though, sorry!
  7. Fantastic game, fantastic performance, fantastic support - all this despite an extremely inconsistent referee and some bizarre substitutions from Mr. Grant. First he brings on Sidwell, inviting the pressure leading to them scoring, and then he takes off a striker (albeit a bad one) for a right-back - very bizarre. He'll say it paid off, I think we managed to win the game despite it. I agree with the above that Mikel must have been sent off by reputation rather than tackle. Not seen the tackle myself, was looking away at the time, but the way that cunt Neville was rolling around the pitch half the game I doubt it could have been a bad tackle. I knew we could win it though, we've won many games before after going a man down. I'm just glad the players managed to do it despite Grant's poor substitutions. Hilario: 6 - At fault for the goal, that was awful, never really fills you with confidence when a cross is played in. Made a few good saves though to redeem himself. Belletti: 9 - Fantastic Bridge: 8 - Great performance from Bridgey Carvalho: 9 - We look a million times better with Riccy back Alex: 7 - Thought he had a pretty good game too Mikel: 8 - Very good performance, good news is we don't lose him for any more games than we thought we would Ballack: 8 - Another good performance from the German SWP: 9 - Scored a great goal, forced another, showed fantastic drive, great performance J. Cole: 7 - Was part of a team that played well, but didn't do an awful lot that I remember Malouda: 7 - Same as Joe Pizarro: 6 - Not good enough. Subs: Sidwell: 6 - Not good enough, his presence to the game only made us invite pressure on Ferreira: 7 - Provided another forward option although it was bizarre to bring him on for a forward Ben Haim: can't really comment, too short a time.
  8. There are a few Americans and Australians on here, a few Indonesians, Singapore, South Africa, India... we're pretty cosmopolitan here!
  9. We had it on CFC-Fans before it went down! Should bring it back, although few used it.
  10. I've never seen Drogba look lazy unless he's been running around for 90minutes.
  11. It's not Chelsea's fault at all! The game was moved due to TV, the game was moved back because Tottenham have a replay. The only thing the club got wrong was not to warn people when buying tickets that the game could be moved if a third round replay happened.
  12. I'm more thinking about getting through the next round to be honest.
  13. I highly doubt Liverpool would have Mourinho waiting in the wings for 6 months before they sack Benitez. If they're gonna sack him, they'll sack him now.
  14. Okay, well I think he's a bit old to start changing his game. He's not the best midfielder in the world, but you only have to look at his amazing previous record to realise how important he is for us, and he's certainly one to keep for as long as possible. He still has plenty of years ahead as the player he is, and I look forward to them.
  15. Well you came up with a pretty stupid reason why Lampard wasn't good. Because he's not God I think that deserved what I said. Stupidity brings up a red mist Gerrard is one hell of a player I'm not denying that, but as Ollie said he and Lampard are slightly different players. I think you're better off comparing Gerrard to Essien than Lampard. My real issue here was you trying to say Lampard had to be God and defend and attack all out at the same time. You were giving him a completely different bar to reach than every other player.
  16. They made a news items about it, and it was there when I first saw this thread, but apparently the more important news was Grant saying "its okay we were shit" so it's hard to find.
  17. Haha, I am actually but I'm keeping it sorry
  18. Yeah right. Since when does Essien provide 20 goals with 20 assists. Gerrard doesn't score as many goals (though provides similar assist rate) and whilst he's a little bit defensively, overall that doesn't really make him better than Lampard. You're criticising Lampard for being shit, but when asked what you expect, you expect him to be fucking Jesus or something. Fucking idiot.
