I actually think AVB has something against McEachran.
-
FFS why did u say that? Everytime people said that before every man united game Torres played bad...
-
Well done Fernando, thought he was gonna shoot.
-
Almost Anelka!, brilliant tho.
-
Arggghhh Mata gotta take advantage of those situations.
-
Fucking Get In There!!!!!!

I suppose it's a positive Torres playing full game.. He won't be playing against United.
-
That goalkeeper is pissing me off.
-
I don't know why people think we've played brilliant, it's improvement yes but not enough, I think we should of done much better.
-
Good game but Torres is being bloody disappointing.
-
It was clearly obvious it was intentional, shocking to be honest. But he either shit himself when he did it and went back to him to see if he's alright, or he was either acting it so he cudnt get into trouble. It should be looked into either way, i think he should get a ban, because really you should walk around the player, not do a tiny little jump over him. So if it's not intentional then it teaches him a lesson either way.

I disagree with that, when we beat them 1-0 at home, yes it was not a free kick, when we beat them 2-1 at away, Macheda was also at fault with handball, when we beat them 2-1 at home that was a penalty for Zhirkov, people seem to think you have to severly injure them in the box for it to be a penalty, sorry but if it's a free kick it's a penalty.

I disagree, Bosingwa has all the qualities in my opinion to play as a right winger, and it's a gamble to put him there, mainly due to the fact he's a right back, but i'm not putting him there like he will play amazing, i'm putting him there because we don't have much of a choice, if Lukaku did play in the middile which is highly unlikely, he would be fantastic with good wingers, and if we put Sturridge there he will just cut in rather than cross, and i think Lukaku would be better with two wingers who are willing to cross the ball for him. But Lukaku i highly doubt will be playing at all, but it's a very risky gamble in my opinion, but he can't put a worse performance in than Torres put it that way. Sturridge is the only one who i can think who is suitable to put down in the centre at the moment who actually has a chance of playing, where as lukaku wont play full stop. And if he's playing down the middle then who is going to play on the right?, yes Anelka but he's not sharp enough and is a huge risk, if he isn't playing well he will let the whole team down not just himself, and Anelka just doesn't have the confidence to do well against them in my opinion. And should i even mention Kalou?, no i shouldn't. So yes Bosingwa would be the best option there in my opinion, if we do play Sturridge there, but i don't think it will happen. I can see Mata-Torres-Anelka as the starting forwards easily.

It's okay, we all get frustrated, and yes when we lose to United i will be different on my opinion and getting angry, i know i will, but i also know i will eventually calm down. Now look at the negatives and positives United have from that game, they are in winning form, and are expected to beat us easily next sunday, now Ferguson is a miracle worker, he is just very clever and knows what he has to do to win this game, now theres a chance they can come complacent and over confident, it's unlikely becaues of Ferguson, but there's a chance of it, United at the moment though don't seem to be falling a sleep. They can take advantage if we are playing bad, that's why we can't play bad full stop. I think we will get out played, but who knows, hopefully Ferguson doesn't know much about AVB, and AVB is unpredictable and comes with a sly win. I think we will get trashed if we just play the same team with the same chemistry what we have been doing so far this season. That's why i think a big gamble is what's best for us.

Lukaku would be brilliant to be honest with two good wingers at the sides, only thing is, it's harsh to throw a 18 year old with only 15 minutes of premier league experience in the Uniteds defence, and by him playing bad could actually ruin his career in my opinion, it would let him down and it wouldn't do him any good, but who knows maybe he's a strong lad and is driven and never gives up, i hope he is. But i like where your coming from, it would be a surprise yes, and a gamble is something we might just need to take.

What's wrong with him playing right wing?, his crossing has been very good in his last two games in my opinion and his pace is great, i think he would do really well on the right wing. I never said i am the coach this is what i think, it's a fucking forum you post debates and your opinion on what and what we should do, none of this is going to happen, so don't tell me to get real, you try and get real and understand this is my opinion and i think this would be a good formation against United looking over past performances. I'm not the manager, and i don't see these players in training, i don't talk to them idividualy i don't know who they are or what they are like, i can only judge from previous performances in matches, like we all can. I even said on my post AVB is the manager and he makes the decisions not me. And Bosingwa is more offence than defence, so why not try him upfront, yes it's a gamble, but a gamble is something we should take in my opinion.

A big gamble might be just what we need to take, i know if it's wrong it will hit us heavy, but against United i think big gambles are what you have to take, because out of player quality, i bet any money United will be playing much better than us.

The only way we can beat United is simply to be better than them, if we play better than them we can beat them, but if we are playing better than them, THEN WE ARE PLAYING REALLY FUCKING GOOD!. Cech Ivanovic-Luiz/Alex-Terry-Cole Ramires-Mikel-Meireles Bosingwa-Sturridge-Mata This is our best chance we have in my opinion, my opinion i don't think we stand a chance when it comes to beating them, we are simply not good enough, but i think we can get a draw if we play really well. Defence needs to be sorted out, and it wasn't sorted against Sunderland no matter what you think, the reason why we didn't get hit hard against Sunderland was simply because this time we had a lot of possesion in midfield, and Sunderland have a weak midfield in my opinion, besides Larsson. We will be hit heavily from Uniteds long balls, so we need to sort this defence out right now!, the team i've got is the only team i think that has the best chance of staying sharp, when you look back at our losses against United, especially the last three when Ryan Giggs ripped us apart with 4 assists in 3 matches, most of them were done by silly errors of stupid defending, by Kalou who wasn't even attempting to tackle Giggs, Bosingwa who let Giggs run straight on past him... and Anelka when he fell asleep and allowed Giggs to run in from from the side and square to Hernandez. Our Players need to be sharp!... Ivanovic i have always been impressed with so far against United, he usually kicks the shit out of Nani, but Nani he will be troubling Cole this time it seems. The play who i'm most impressed with against United is Ramires, in my opinion he had his best games against United, he was just unbelievable and United struggle against his pace, Meireles played a huge part against United for Liverpool when they won 3-1, fair enough that's Meireles at Liverpool, but after what i saw from last game it looks like he's carried his form, unlike Torres. I'm not going to explain for a 3rd time why Danny is a better choice than Torres to play, so yes i choose Danny. Bosingwa would struggle really hard against Young, he is effective offensively so put him on right wing. Mikel had a great game last time we played United, he calmed the midfield down, and against United midfield is the key, we can do this if we keep possession Mikel just needs to have a good game, Mata will be marked a lot and it's obvious why from what he's displayed in his past two games. So if we can pile the attention on Mata god knows what will happen, i think it's more likely to go our way, but we can't do any of this if we don't play well. Everyone has to play well, otherwise we will lose. It's gonna be tough against United but lets see what happens, it's AVB who makes the choices hopefully he gets them all right. My prediction, we lose 2-1, Hernandez and Rooney scoring both of the goals, Sturridge scores for us.

So nice to see him back at the bridge, i really hope he can play to be honest, it will make Laverkusen more effective yes but it will be much more worth it for Ballack to have a return at the Bridge.
-
Agreed much more pace, the counter attacking looked more interesting, but our counter attack kept getting broke up, just one of those days, but i'm still impressed with the effort. I just wish the likes of Malouda never came on and Mata gone off, i know it was for the best because of Mata's energy and his international matches, but i would of liked to said today was a different Chelsea, and a better Chelsea, however i can't say it because after sometime subs came on and it went back to the Chelsea we've been for most of last season and some of this season.

I'm being entirely honest here when i put this Mata-Sturridge-Bosingwa Mierles-Mikel-Ramires Cole-Terry-Luiz/Alex-Ivanovic Cech Mikel had a good game against United when we last played them, he cooled the midfield down and sorted it out, when he came on it went uphill for us, i think Lampard is a huge risk because how he does under perform a lot and can give the ball away, i think Meireles is spot on with passes forget about the longballs, at Liverpool every match i saw him play in he always finished that pass, i think it's very important. Ramires plays well against United and he has to play this one in my opinion, Sturridge is a risk but who else can we play?, Torres is out of form and would be stupid to put him up against United and Lukaku is far too young to start this game, it would be very harsh on him. I choose Bos at right wing because effectivly he has been superb, defending i absalutely agree, against the likes of young and Nani he wouldn ever be able to handle them, Ivanovic has had a great game against them last season in my opinion. Playing Anelka right wing would be a big risk if he switches off and to be fair he hasn't had the best of games against United recently despite his form atm, making him starter is a risk. The only person i can think of to put there is Bosingwa, where i think he would play well there to be honest. The only big risk is i hope Sturridge doesn't get cramped in the box. Of course Drogba if he is ready might be able to play, but making him starter cud be a bit.. uhm... not a good idea, returning from his injury in such. But i shouldn't forget the game against Laverkusen, if we have any outstanding perforamces or good ones of course then yes we should play them, If torres plays which he will do since he has enery left in him and has a very good game then i might change my mind about him in the game against United, but what i'm saying doesn't mean anything, because AVB is the manager round here and i only hope he makes the right choice, this is the only thing i would go with, but i'm going by chances and risks, i don't see how our players perform in training or talk to them individualy so yes i could be entirely wrong.
-
No, don't give me all that rubbish about Torres is good against United, because he's good against United when he's playing for Liverpool, not Chelsea, he had a good game when we beat them 2-1, but besides that he hasn't done anything. Sturridge is a risk yes, because Ferguson knows hes inexperienced and he will know what to do with him, but Sturridge has a lot more chance than Torres to score at Old Trafford, and i'd much rather go with Sturridge to be honest.
-
What we need to do against United is to not have this high defence line, Seriously United always long ball, and they will take a shit on us with this high defence line, We need to be better defensivly, and we cannot rely on Mata, i don't think any team can have a free role player against United unless they do really well, United mark the shit out of playmakers and the main man, David Silva always struggles against United. Midfield is the key, as it always has been against United, do not be so afraid of them were a different team compared to Bolton.
-
But not if he was in form, you must remember, this is incredibly hard for Torres in my opinion, it's took him really hard to settle in a total different style in what we play in, we are a team who can't give him no assistance, and when we do he's not ready for them, and that's because he's not expecting them, and i can't blame him, Torres has a lot on his mind, he's taking shit from the media, thinking about that price tag all the time and i don't think he's getting on well with some of the people at Chelsea, i wouldn't expect a man to keep 100 percent sharp and look out and be aware 24/7 on the pitch in that condition. Infact it's a damn shame he's given up, but to be honest, there's reasons why he has given up.

Sturridge was on the bench in his first match for Bolton, and his first match was against Wolves, and his goal was because Elokobi passed it back the keeper without knowing Sturridge was not far away and Sturridge intercepted then scored. Don't be to dissapointed about it.
