To be fair that's the reason Villa is at Barcelona, he's a quality player. No there's no excuses, forget all the bull shit with spain and that, tell me, how much assistance has Torres got this season?, does he get chances every game?, he had one with Blackburn and that wasn't as easy as it looked in my opinion, Torres never does get any assistance, he got two throughballs in the Man U match, he scored one, decent ratio, he got a longball in the Swansea match and scored, besides that he gets no assistance, the same could be said for last season also. The match i was dissapointed him in was the Wigan match last season, where he got chances and didn't score, but to be fair to him he didn't expect it because our team was piss poor last season, and it isn't that much different now. I know Torres will go out against Liverpool and have a bad game, cause he will obviously play. I would rather play someone else up front. Infact i would rather play Lukaku upfront at the moment, i still havent seen how the young lad plays.

He's never played good for Spain, if it wasn't for Barcelona's youth spain would never be the top team, they have always been underachievers and a team who havent been able to play together. But at the moment they've got a full Barcelona chemistry who work together, that's why David Villa kicks ass for Spain, he pretty much does it Barcelona style. Of course you get the other quality ones like David Villa and Mata, but on some games you can see Spain failing to work together and they end up losing, like to Switzerland and USA for example.

Poor lad, i seen Brad Jones after the boro match when he used to play for boro, unfortunately never spoke to him or met him. He was a decent keeper, shame what's happened for him, hope he's okay.

Torres is a striker with pace, who makes runs, runs, runs, runs. Our team can not supply him, we also play slow football, Torres gets no throughballs, long balls, and rarely gets a good cross, he got two throughballs, he's scored one, he got one long ball and he scored that, there two goals from three chances, but that's also the only three chances he hasn't made for himself. Untill we sort our team out, we will never see Torres score over 20 goals a season.

My friend who is a pure liverpool supporter was buzzing because he's getting into fitness for this match, he's had an injury i think, but he should be able to play us tomorrow.

He wasn't worse or better, Torres is Torres, but what has changed is our team, the positive is that we got a player like Mata, but negative is we keep playing this stupid highline defending which our defenders arent capable of.

That's what i said last season, but he still handeled Torres and made sure he couldn't get an effort on goal.

I think he gets too much abuse, i still think he's a good player, and offers us a lot, he's a good tackler, and his defensive qualities are actually good, he's just stupid and hasnt got the best of brains, he runs miles offside and doesn't realies, he tries to do stupid things, and hasn't got the best tactical brain, he can play players onside and such. However Ivanovic has to play these big games definitely, Bosingwa just can't play the big ones, i would play Bosingwa against the mid table teams and below.

I think it's a pointless gamble though anyway, because we can't sit back and defend against Liverpool, yes we need to sort out the defending definitely, but we must get goals.

I think playing Malouda is a bad idea, he lost pace, he lost confidence with it. And to add to his technical ability he can't cross anymore, I'd rather play Mata and Anelka, and i seriously hope we get rid of Malouda and Kalou in January and get two new players in too replace them. Perhaps playing Malouda against a team favourites for relegation or bottom 6, but this is Liverpool!, i can see Malouda just fucking up like he has done in his past games.

You think?, Malouda just gives the ball away too much his passing this season hasn't shown anything, the magic he created this season was his low cross to Lampard in the Valencia match, but besides that he doesn't even trouble players that much, He did in the Genk match, but that is Genk, and even then his decision making was piss poor and resulted in Genk having goal kicks.

Many people underestimate Downing on this forum, i think he could rape Bosingwa, even if he has more energy than Ivanovic or not, Ivanovic must play right back in this game!.

Drogba can still find a goal in this team, he can sometimes produce something himself, where Torres wont. Drogba just has a bad attitude, i still think he can score, just needs to get sorted out.

That pass is something we lack in this team, and we have no players who can do that consistently, including Anelka!, Anelka would probably only pull that pass out 3 times this season if that. Anelka is a good technical player who offers something, though he's very weak mentally, if his head isn't in the game, then his skills wont be there either, and Anelka is a nervous player i think, that's why he shits himself in big games. For example last season Van Der Sar made a mistake and came out of his box for the ball where Anelka was closer to it, Anelka had the chance to get the ball before VDS and kick it in an open goal, it was on an angle, but he had time to go round him or at least take a damn shot. However he shit himself and just let Van Der Sar get rid of the ball, Anelka was playing poor the whole game and looked like he was shaking when he had the ball. But he's our only option in my opinion against Liverpool, Sturridge isn't ready, i think Sturridge should be the one coming on later game and let him know he has to put on a performance.
