I hope this guy comes in next season to be honest Cech hasn't been the best for a long time, in fact I think he's very overrated on this forum, I think he's a great guy and had some great moments like he did in our Champions League campaign, but I just don't feel comfortable with him anymore. Where as this guy seems very good, like a potential world class keeper, I don't think Cech is world class, and I don't think he has been for some time now.

Carlo is probably the best manager when it comes to playing football he really is, amazing manager. However he wasn't good for us in the longterm, I loved Carlo but getting rid of him was the right choice even though it was very harsh, but I love the man and wish him all the best he will always be known as King Carlo here. I think most Madrid fans are angry with the bad season you had last season, and losing to the cup to atletico to top it off. I think Mourinho will do well here, it's a different ball game yes, now there are much bigger teams, 5 teams are potential league winning candidates it just depends on who will flourish this season the most. But I think Mourinho will get it right here, even if he doesn't win the title we will be patient with him I'm sure of it, our team is still in transition, and we have many young players. As for Madrid I wish them the best of luck, mainly down to Carlo as he's a good chap, but I'm gonna put my money on Barca winning the title this season, although I could be wrong.

Thanks for the reply, I also edited my earlier post in your reply to Ozil, I'll give your article a read after I finish this post. The cost of success was very expensive, especially for what you've got in return. However don't you think Madrid is a very hard job? there is a lot of pressure involved and you're in a league with the best team in the world. Barcelona are something special, they are a bunch of players who know how to play together and grew together with youth, that's a very rare thing. That's something Madrid can't compete with, however Madrid have a better squad and Mourinho used that to his advantage in the season you won the title. However 1/3 titles, yes not very good with your team I understand. Perhaps Mourinho was way out of his depth, every managerial job is different. But I really do think Madrid is one of the hardest jobs in the world, I honeslty don't think you can expect to win a title every season when you're competing against Barcelona, maybe your time will rise again but as for now Messi, Iniesta, Busquets and Xavi still exist, and we could add Neymar into there depends how he gets on.

Just a change of subject, what is your view on Mourinho? Most Madrid fans I've seen so far have been saying I hope Mourinho fails, like they literally hate him and he destroyed everything about your club. What's your viewpoint on him? You seem logical and actually watch your team, so what would be your fair viewpoint? EDIT: But on Ozil that's a very interesting viewpoint, Ozil was working hard at one point in his career, that was a while ago mind. Arsenal seem suitable and not so suitable, counter attacking football YES, as for work rate, that's going to be tricky. They don't even have a box to box or ball winning midfielder, Arsenal work hard as a team to win the ball back, that's there philosophy, they are more fluid rather than diverse with there players for roles. It's going to be interesting to see how he works out, one thing for sure though it's definitely an upgrade from the likes of Rosicky playing there.

Not happy with this at all, not happy. The only loan move I would ever accept is him going back to West Brom for another year. This happening is like telling him to start everything again for another season. At least with West Brom he could fit right back in and pro long another year on loan and pick up where he left off. I'm angry about it but Lukaku has done well to prove many of the doubters wrong, perhaps he can do this again? Best of luck to you Romelu, you will be a star soon I know you will

Tiote is a ball winning midfielder, a very good one as well, but I'm happy we never signed him because he's injury prone. We needed more aggressive players in our team and Mikel isn't aggressive in the slightest. However Ramires has flourished into a very good ball winning midfielder or box to box type what have you, so we've benefited in the end.
-
What? We are Chelsea FC, we like playing with 1 striker!
-
So he's not worth 43 million?
-
In all fairness I was probably worse about this a year ago, but I know what you mean.
-
Personally I think he should have been sold (only if we had of replaced him that is) And if he is as good as some say it wont matter, he wont fit into the system regardless. We wont have many games like we did against United and Bayern, this isn't five years ago, we aren't counter attackers anymore. We keep the ball and look for any option to get a goal, our play requires good movement, passing, creativity and first touches. However this is Mikel's fault he failed to perform when he had to fight for his place. When Essien was out for 6 months two seasons ago it was Mikel's time to flourish, he failed. He had a bad season last season and we can't keep making excuses, sorry Mikel fans but the results haven't been positive for him. The best option is to move on and replace him.
-
I would rather keep him here and not play him at all than loan him to Arsenal.
-
You talk as though we actually care, I put more thought into wiping my arse than I do with trying to make a 'great' impression for you or any other fans who come on here begging for attention
-
R.I.P Harsh on such a great guy!
-
Well that's exactly what Sam did, yet you went on his thread and liked his post anyway. Does making a big announcement in this section give you that much boost? Cause I'm seriously thinking of considering making a topic everyday. Go on the thread bayern munich chelsea thread and see for yourself, he called two people idiots in a response. And the Mak pretty much summed up his trolling in his own thread, he's just baiting for arguments and he's been doing it for a long time. You think I can't deal with it? I dealt with your disrespect against me saying you're going to unban me then ban me again, and this silly thor thing? I don't insult people, I believe in what I post and if I'm wrong I'll admit it, and sometimes I just get on with it. Also what of JayC? He has gotten away with bloody murder, once again he started calling people stupid arrogant and idiots just in the english football thread.
-
So you insult by calling someone ignorant, and then say this. Well done, great contribution to the forum, I love having other fans who can come on and have a 'nice' debate on the forum.
-
I wonder if you would be saying that if it had been Bale in our team and Hazard in theirs.
-
So this is what it comes to? Someone makes a thread and action gets taken just like that without the situation even being investigated. You know funny thing is the Mak summed this up in the other thread, he did a better investigation than any of you guys did. But anyway what's the point? I've probably disrespected your opinion so that's that for me then, I'm done.

Ramires doesn't have much besides pace.
-
Ramires does great things there and then, but that doesn't mean he's world class. He's got very poor ball control and a bad first touch, he's almost an average player without his pace, his pace determines his game that much. He's not world class, not even near, he hasn't got great technical aspects, he's only flashy now and then and has a great set of legs, he's also not a very smart player going forward. He's got a great burst of pace running up, but he lacks so much flair and creativity when he's in even the most simple of positions. If he is close to world class then there must be about 200 world class players in the world right now at least.
-
Ramires is nowhere near world class.
-
Lampard-Ramires John Obi Mikel can't cover much space, he is only good for games we are playing in our own half. MVG is young and inexperienced, it would be stupid to say he's our best midfielder. Essien is not the player he was 3 years ago, good backup player but not the best for our midfield.
-
How would that of been any better? So we leave Ivanovic on who has played a full 115 minutes (at that time) and then shot Azpi on? The threat out wide wasn't as bad, we just needed to defend everything that came into the box, Bayern where just crossing from distance that's all they could do, we restricted them. Putting Terry on was a great call, because he helped massively wit the Ariel threats. Do people realize that we only lost because of a stupid free kick? A mistake from Lampard and then a bit of luck for it to land so loverly for Martinez, this wasn't a tactical error it wasn't a mistake by the manager, this wouldn't of been any different if Azpi was on.
-
Remember the Liverpool game where we decided to leave our attackers on instead of putting on Terry, and they scored in the 97th minute. Different type of game I know, but we had to put a centre back on to at least try to avoid the outcome of what happened last time. Unfortunately that didn't happen, but how the hell can we know? That's just saying things in hindsight we can never know the outcome, we had 10 men, our defense was knacker ed what manager would say hang on we're played over half an hour with 10 men, lets just leave the tired Hazard on and go out and attack. As I said you're saying this in hindsight, put yourself in Mourinhos shoes at that exact time instead of judging the outcome and moan about what happened, you have to be logical.
