Can't really find lots of things Roberto did wrong except perhaps putting Mata there when we all know he is burnt out. He put out a strong team aiming to win the trophy. What are we supposed to do, come out as European Champions and defend against a lesser opponent while having players like Hazard and Mata? That's the wrong mindset and guess what? We can't start playing free flowing attacking football like Real Madrid after only a couple of matches. It was also a massive risk to attack Atletico in the 2nd 45 with our full force since they were so lethal on counter attacks and players felt that too. They were afraid of losing the ball which of course resulted in them doing it. Oscar introduction didn't really do a lot and you can't expect him to change the game when he is new to the club. I hoped to see Sturridge start last night and to see Moses get a run but sadly it didn't happen. Besides that, not much I can say, players were the ones that didn't do their job. They lost faith, confidence and pressure ate them alive in the end. You could see it on their faces when camera would zoom in, they looked to lost in their thoughts and weren't really there.

Good to hear it. He really needs a rest...

It would be absolutely ideal if we could bring Falcao here in exchange for Torres and money. If Fernando loves his dear Atletico so much he can go there and we get probably the best striker in the world in our team Also, when asked whether Chelsea was interested in Falcao, RDM responded no and that he is satisfied with our 2 strikers. Of course, he was never going to say yes, I'm just writing it so others who missed it can read.
-
Perhaps, but he will be 30 years old with an awful injury record.
-
Hurts to say, but he had an awful game yesterday. Looked so careless and lost at times. Whenever he banged on forward I would start shaking and my heart rate would go above 150. Needs to sort it out asap.

I feel Ramires would do a decent job in the defensive midfield if we have people around him ready to receive a pass when he is under pressure. When it comes to defending, he would help a lot. BUT, when deployed in the DM his forward runs are really restricted. If he bangs on forward, he will leave only 1 DM behind and if we lose the ball it could get really dangerous. I'm not a fan of him on the right wing, but when there is space he is good to have and let's not forget that he helps in our defense also. Best position for him is for sure in the central midfield in 4-3-3 where he has freedom. Shame because he is a great player, but just not really suited for 4-2-3-1.

So this is pretty much what Robbie planned. GK: Cech, Turnbull, Hilario RB: Ivanovic, Azpilicueta CB: Terry, Cahill, Luiz LB: Cole, Bertrand DM: Mikel, Lampard, Romeu, Meireles AM: Oscar, Hazard AML: Mata, Marin AMR: Moses, Ramires ST: Torres, Sturridge It shows that we have 2 players for every position out there except for the CB position where we can deploy Ivanovic and where we rarely change anyway. It's a pretty decent squad but defensive midfield worries me a bit, since it's basically made of 2 central midfielders forced to play there, 1 young player and Mikel. Our attacking midfielders are best in the league which should ease of the pressure on our 2 strikers. Perhaps it's a good move from RDM to keep faith in Torres and Sturridge. If we brought a new striker in they wouldn't be the happiest in the world. Let's see how they do, and if they missfire we always have January. I would also expect us to bring a new DM at the end of the season since Lamps will be 35 and we will probably sell Meireles. Josh will be back from loan also. So all in all 83m spent. That's really a lot. Let's forget yesterday's game, rest ourselves and continue our season.

Congrats mate

I'm of to bed to end this shite day...
-
I actually can't remember when Luiz's forward runs didn't cause us problems ... pissed me of a few times tonight.
-
I would like Cabaye, Tiote and Falcao. Hell, throw in Hulk in there just for the sake of it. That should take care of our problems. Lloris is a great signing for Tottenham for 12mil.
-
This... Can't be really arsed to write anything atm...
-
If we loan Essien to Arsenal I'll friggin stab someone
-
This.

I'm hoping to hear from Badboy's source!
-
Source? Tottenham signing Joao Moutinho is 'impossible' says Andre Villas-Boas http://www.independe...as-8099132.html

So looks like it's happening...when we played Leverkusen last season I was really impressed by him. He was making our players a new arsehole throughout a whole game and was their best player. That said I do follow Bundesliga from time to time, but I usually don't watch Bayer so I don't know that much about him. He is only 21 so there is a lot of potential there...if we sign him I'll welcome him but I feel we don't need him with Sturridge here.
-
He could be of to Arsenal. I really hope that he is not because he is a brilliant player. http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2012/aug/30/transfer-rumours-manchester-city-dzeko-arsenal?newsfeed=true

Congratulations good man! On to 20k now
-
Well United had the easiest group last season and we all know how that went
-
Really happy because Partizan managed to qualify for Europa League even though we had lots of problems. I'm hoping for a good draw
-
Iniesta is a brilliant player, but I thought Ronaldo should have won it. Iniesta was brilliant during EURO though... I don't get it why he is a prick? If it was someone from Madrid who won it I'm fairy sure he would smile and congratulate him. Being a 2nd best to someone for all the time no matter what you do is something really awful and I can feel his pain.
-
You dare to say flop! Our blondie scored against Barca to take us to CL final then won us a corner for the equalizing goal and then got a Golden Boot at EUROS. And can you not see that he works hard for the team and suffers from the lack of service? He is also cute

20% yes. 100% no That clown shouldn't be allowed 10km near Stamford Bridge..
