I really liked Torres before and I was very happy when we signed him, even though I knew it was a big risk. I don't love him, but as he is a Chelsea player he has my support now. He hasn't done anything for the club yet unless eat our wage bill, put managers under pressure and bring lots of hatred towards us. I will never support him as I do players like Lampard, JT, Cech and Drogba who haven given to much to this club unless he starts showing us why did we pay 50m for him. If he doesn't he should simply leave...

Yeah relax. In the last 2 matches at the Bridge we only conceded 7 so no worries with our defense We can win if the players snap out of it and start performing, but if they don't...they probably will though, they wanna play in CL don't they?

Did someone recommend you to join? Who? Or you simply ended here through a search engine? Or maybe you heard of TC and decided to join in? My story is a bit different. Back in summer 2010 I was going through the internet looking for some transfer news and I ended in the TC transfer talk that got me interested. There were some great posts there and I spent some time going through the stuff. I still didn't register though. After some time I started browsing the forum to see what's there and I found the multimedia section, but it required you to be registered in order to see the content, so I did it, I became a TC member. Again, I still didn't post and I never planned any of this, it happened naturally. I made a few shy posts after some time and as the time went on I started posting more and more which leads us to today. So, what's your story?

meh I got used to it...I would've been surprised if the ref actually gave us the penalty... Of course, Barcelona was awarded a penalty against Milan that gave them an equalizer, but they play the best football in the world and are the EU champions while we are a mercenary team full of rich superstars, shit fans and a stupid manager so fuck Chelsea as always, ey refs? But whatever, we should've outplayed them and scored 2 or 3 last night...

It it simple for me to see that our squad needs refreshing badly. Look at the players who have been playing well or at least shown some great ability from the beginning of the season. Torres, Mata, Luiz, Ramires, Romeu, Meireles and Sturridge. Take a look at those players closely. All of them haven't been our players even for a full year yet (except Sturridge, but even he can be considered a new player)! Players who were there before simply aren't putting good enough performances except a few like Ivanovic, Cole and Cech but even they are far from top top like we know they can. Kalou? Anelka? Malouda? How do we all feel when we see them waiting to enter the game and the result isn't in our favor? Certainly not optimistic. No passion and no hunger. Mikel? He is not a bad player, but he is not of the quality needed right now and his play style doesn't suit us. Drogba? Disappointing performances so far but I won't criticize him as he is 33 and we know how hard is it to find the old form again (like Lampard) but I am sure his time with us is nearing to an end. Bosingwa? Defensive mistakes and poor crossing. Again, like in Mikel case, he's a decent RB but not what we need right now. We need more quality, and most importantly more players of the age around 22-26 who can benefit the team right away and serve as a link up between our youngsters what I've been saying for more then a year now. Last year Roman once again opened his wallet before january when we weren't doing well and whatever we think about Torres, it did lift everyone at the club and just imagine if Hernandez didn't score at the beginning of that United match what could've happened. Roman loves the club, and I believe he will open his thick wallet again. Now dear Andre, is the time to show the world what you've made from and why are you the most expensive manager ever. You have my support.

Tough call, but Sturridge a bit more then Cech, though I missed around 20mins of first half due to stream problems. Cech, Bosingwa deserve a mention. Ivanovic and Malouda did alright and Drogba wasn't bad either.

I also couldn't but notice that it was our best defender, Alex, who actually got outjumped on that corner after which they scored

Indeed, but a good thing is that we only need a few players to make it work. Ramires, Luiz, Cole, Bosingwa, McEachran, Bertrand, Essien, Meireles, Mata, Torres, Sturridge, Anelka and Romeu are the players that will have no problems with it while Terry, Ivanovic, Alex, Lampard, Mikel, Kalou, Malouda and Drogba are for a different kind of football. We bring in a winger, creative mid and a CB and get rid of deadwood and we'll do fine.
