Let's make this clear right now - Khedira isn't shit. I watched him last season at Real Madrid and he did very well. He's a hardworking defensive/box2box midfielder who works for the team and any midfield trio needs a player like him. We could use a player like him perhaps, but we still have 2 big priorities in a creative midfielder and winger that won't come cheap. Once those are cleared then we can think about Khedira.

I think AVB will make a decision at the end of season. If Sturridge does well he'll keep him there, if he doesn't we'll probably bring another winger.

^ Well yeah, this is the last year on his contract so it is expected. We don't want him leaving for free or sold cheaply. Nothing surprising.

I also forgot to say that for a player like that we should pay whatever the price is. Along with a playmaker it is a missing link for our club and it needs to be a top top quality. Hulk(absolutely perfect for our right wing), Hazard and Neymar come to my mind.

The type of player I'd really like to us to buy is one like Nani or Hulk. One that can terrorize defenders, shoot from distance and get assists also. Mata is great player, but he likes to roam all over around and play more like Silva. We are good with strikers but our right wing is weak. Anelka is alright, but he's not a right winger. Sturridge is yet to convince me on that position and Kalou...no comment. Still, it's tough to find a player like that, but I hope we do. For the style of football AVB wants to play that kind of a player is a must.

Enough guys, just stop it, he ain't worth it. Kalou has caused loads of arguing on this forum. Rules are simple, anyone can vote for any player that is on the list. The list is made by 11 starters and 3 subs. If Kalou took part in a match he should be on the list meaning anyone can vote for him.

It's alright when he goes forward when we play against a weaker opposition, but against Barca or United who have fast wingers we would be screwed like hell. Bos is good, but not world class like Ash. Problem is that finding a good right back is really hard today. They are either out of form, too old, too expensive, too injury prone or they wouldn't join us. Perhaps we could snatch Sagna if Arse collapse... I like Ivanovic of course and he's done great as a RB, but AVB has shown us already what kind of right back he wants and where does he plan to use Brana. Still, Bos is alright. He is not the best right back in the league, but he is certainly around there somewhere. This season he has improved and I believe we'll be fine this season with him if he stays fit. Look at United, they play without a right back and yet have loads of success. Smalling and Jones? They are good, but they're not right backs. So keep the faith and support him instead of bashing him Oh and I forgot, his monobrow is epic
