Oh FFS! Why can't we have some little luck at least? United players have made a recovery for our match while JT will miss it along with Cole and Ramires. My day will probably be ruined if we lose to those scumbags, especially if Rooney or that Cuntarito score...

Next England captain
-
I wouldn't be surprised if they all make a miraculous recovery and put in a performance of their life on Sunday...
-
Well done. Piss of your best defender and leader before the Euro2012 and then moan when you fail again...
-
I actually tried Torres
-
If AVB is to be sacked then I would welcome Jose, but only then. I miss that crazy mofo, but we shouldn't have brought AVB in the first place if the board expected him to make miracles in his 1st season.
-
You never know with Roman, but I doubt Andre would get an axe. Why bring an unproven 33 year old manager and expect him to win a trophy in his 1st season with an aging mediocre squad in the toughest league in the world? If Andre does get a sack, then we will archieve nothing, become clowns of football again and spend money for sacking him rather then bringing someone like Hazard.

It's not only the highline, but when we put our defensive line lower we usually build from the back and when we finally send the ball to midfielders they fail to do anything useful with it and they simply make the safest pass to the nearest player or backwards and it happens for most of the match. When the ball finally reaches our front 3, it's either Mata who is trying to do something, Sturridge trying to shoot and failing and Torres either faling or trying to dribble from the wing That's one way we usually play, and the 2nd one is the doubling on the wing with fullbacks and trying to cross which usually fails as Torres is without confidence and out of position while Sturridge hasn't been good as before his injury. Now, without Ramires, we have lost drive in the midfield and speed in the counter attacks and I wasn't surprised with how dumb we looked against Real Madrid Swansea. It's frustrating, predictable and uneffective, but we have looked stronger defensively a lot since we dropped the highline.

Come on, calm down lads and get back on topic.

If we don't finish in the top4 it will be a disaster. Why?Finacialy and because we need radical changes. Will Hazard for example come to a team not playing in the Champions League or rather go to City who will probably be the Champions? As it has been said, we get that top4 finish, AVB survived the season and assesed the players and the PL itself. Hopefully we can do good business in the summer and then see what the young portuguese can do. This is all I care about this season, top4 finish. Everything above that is a luxury.
-
We had a good pre-season. Team recovered from the previos season well and put it all behind. We started well and creating chances wasn't the problem. Problem is that we dropped the highline and lowered the tempo of our game since Andre's playstyle simply couldn't succed here with the players we have. If we won that game at Old Traford where we outplayed Manu I think our season so far would've been different, but a run of bad results has put AVB under pressure and he had to change it. Team is under pressure and short on confidence. It reminds me of last season a lot. I'm happy as long as we keep getting 3 points and grinding that top4 finish. Hopefully we will do it and then make radical changes in the summer and prepare for the 1st real season under Andre.

Which is pretty much a 4-4-2 when Aguero plays with Balo or Dzeko as he likes to roam around.
-
Which is why I wrote the 2nd sentence you removed from the quote
-
They are not doing amazing in the league, but Champions League is a completely different story. If we continue playing like this I will be worried. Hopefully we can get 3 points against United and get on a good run of results.
-
I actually forgot Hughes and Petrescu...
-
If I was him I would choose Chelsea over Man City and I'm telling this as a neutral. At City, he will be just another of superstars and he won't have the freedom as he would have here. Aguero likes to roam around and Silva is the playmaker so therefore his role would be a bit more restrictive. Here, he would be a central figure playing for a manager who likes the players exactly in the mould of him and he would have Lukaku, Courtois and De Bruyne. Besides, in our 4-3-3 formation he would be able to join the attack much more often then at City's 4-4-2 or whatever Mancini plays.... He has also said that he will not sign for a club to sit on the bench.

Fergie talking about being unlucky? *cough* 2 offside goals *cough* at Old Toilet *cough* dillusional twat *cough* Actually, when Ferguson says his team has been unlucky - he actually means they didn't have crazy amounts of luck as usual.
-
It's alright. Like it was said compensations to Porto and AVB + high wages to some players who will leave soon like Drogba, Torres and Lampard. Anelka was on 90k if I remember also. Do well this year and finish top 4 in the league and we should be fine. I won't worry about our turnover as that is the deparement our board certainly knows of well since they are businessmen...

I really want to keep RDM at the club. If AVB can bring back Zola also it would be a dream! -

Take a bow son! I can't even do that in FIFA -
We payed a lot of money to Carlo to sack him. We payed a lot of money to Porto to bring Andre and in order to sack Andre we would have to also pay a big sum of money and the wages we payed to him 'till now would make it around 40m! Bring a new manager now? What would he do? He would still have the same players as Andre does, we will look like clowns again and he would be under even bigger pressure. Andre's results before January were decent, not as good as some people expected but they were alright and above the minimum the club expects. You can't either say we didn't try to bring anyone in this January. We brought Cahill - a player who is the 1st choice with Terry in the England national team. We bought De Bruyne for something cheap. We tried signing Vargas, Lucas, Willian and Hazard all in 1 month - With Neymar and Gotze who are the most wanted players everyone would like to see at their club! The club is right not to let people milk out money from us like they tried for Pereira transfer in the summer and with Willian transfer now. No, AVB is here to stay. He has faith in his players and no matter how bad they are, it's important that he still has faith in them.

Terrible news...I will not commentate on Egypt's situation as it's not my business and I hope that it all ends in the best possible way for them.
-
We tried Vargas - he chose Napoli. We tried Hazard - he didn't want to leave now.. We tried Lucas - the club didn't want to sell him. We tried Willian - Shakhtar asked for too much. At least we are trying tried.
-
He should be. It's nothing serious.
