I just wanted to make the point that even if we loose tomorrow , the last 6 years with this team has been the best any Chelsea fan has had chance to witness. Yes the odds are against us , but come the end of the match tomorrow we can atleast say we have been successful.

Just Want to put a few things in perspetive and say thanks to people like Drogba , Riccy C , Lampard , Terry Maka etc for providing us with so much joy over the last few seasons , what ever happens tommorrow they cant take away the fact that we have won the PL 3 times the FA cup 3 times and the Carling cup twice. With the likes of Drogba Anelka Lampard etc coming to the later years in there careers its nice to reflect on what they have done for the club , yes its not going so well at the moment but atleast its never a dull moment as a Chelsea fan , heres to the next 5/6 years of sucess and as i said what ever happens tomorrow im proud of our history making squad and will always keep it Blue! come on lads show some passion tomorrow and stuff those mancs!!

I think Torres will start , thats why he was sub on Saturday...

I can see alot of people sayin to play Benayoun he has just come back from a long term injury he will take time to get back up to pace. I think Carlo wil play the same team he played Weds.

Its a must win game to be honest , where only 5 points ahead and we have to play spuds the way this season is going no points gap is comfortable , we need to secure a champions league spot and try again next year.

I regret to admit i was embarressed by his diving last night its undefendable one part of his game we dont need....

Exactly an early goal would be key , even if we had drew we would still need to score. so our mentality should be to attack either way. the advantage we have is if we do score it counts double.

In a way we all knew this was going to happen , Chelsea dont like to do things the easy way (remember 4-4 at the bridge).

I guess we could think that... or we could support our team and give them the benefit of the doubt that they can beat united , lets see what happens Tuesday win or loose it dosent change a thing im still behind the team and will look forward to next season and hopefully a more sucessfull one. Unfortunatly its so predictable its boring now. The champions league is the cup we should just enjoy the ride in , its the same every year we look good play well , but just dont have the luck ? the Edge ? to win it....

After Calming down a bit I have to say we played quite well. Though we just couldn’t take our chances United had one clear cut chance and took it. had that chance been ours the ball would of hit the other side of the post and gone out. unfortunately the CL is a lot about luck and we just don’t have the man utd luck. here is how i thought our players rated: Cech: didn’t put a foot wrong and could do nothing about the goal. Ash. Solid as usual though wasn’t really tested. Terry. Brilliant , someone who cares a lot about this club he played like a defender and a midfielder. Ivan: Usual Good Shift but could of done with him on the right. Bossy: A lot has already been said , he is way out of his depth , hasn’t been the same player since his injury. we must assess this in the summer. Essien: Got forward well , tracked back well good game Lamps: Other than the chance that evra cleared he wasn’t in the game and his corners where dire. Rammy: Played well , never stopped running , but lacks the creative spark on the right. Yuri: Didn’t really do much , i don’t think he has what it takes to beat a man other than running past them. Drogba: Looked great in places , looked woeful in others this is Dider Drogba all over. Though he looked like the only one to make something happen. What really annoyed me was his cross that got blocked and he decided to throw a tantrum by the corner flag instead of getting the ball back and getting another cross in , this may have been the reason Caro took him off. Torres: Showed glimpses of what he can do. The header that VDS saved was a world class save and it just seems like not even the ball wants to go in the net for him. Anelka: Not enough time to make an impact FloMo: Looked lively when he came on , but needs a rocket up his ass to get in some form. Mikel: Looked good , composed on the ball , deserves more of a chance. Just looked at the BBC Stats and we had more chances , what really go to me was ITV's Blatant bias towards Man utd it’s like they are watching a game with red tited glasses "the better team are ahead at half time" i understand if its a foreign team against and English one but not two English teams (rant over) Attempts on target Chelsea 10Man Utd 5 Attempts off target Chelsea 6Man Utd 0 Corners Chelsea 3Man Utd 5 Fouls Chelsea 15Man Utd 13 We all know the penalty situation , but we knew this would happen it always does even if we had got it , the ref would have allowed all the united players to stand on the line of something . It is hard to accept this is our last chance of silverware but thats football , you dont take your chances you dont win simple as that. It’s going to be a tough task on Tuesday night but if the boys really want it they will have to put the effort in.

Exactly , as long as we make the top 4 i will be happy , remember us being 5th and thinking we will be our of the champions league next season.. we need to see what happens wednesday and if things dont go our way , we can look forward to next season, i remember utd going through a few seasons without a trophy our time was boud to come with the aging old guard. a Good win on Wednesday will give the lads a boost though

Think we should be happy with a point .... Stoke looked like they where going to score time and time again. luckily spuds drew , we just need to make sure we finnish in the top 4 the PL has gone it went a long time ago. let arse and united duke it out. and lets smash united out of the champions league Wednesday and concentrate on that.
