You took it the wrong way... im not trying to find reasons, those "reasons" are actually Football/Sports/Businesses/Life nature. It seems that you insist to talk about us like we were there all the time, or that it is so easy to build winners mentality and experience. Its just not. When some young, lack of experince business man, trying to fight the Big Dogs, the big companies, what did he gets normally? just look at City and see. And than look at us.

If their last season is even to our first season with Roman, so I tottaly proved my point. Do you remember our line up back than? laughable compares to 10/11 Man City team. Absulute laughable. No place to discussion realy... They had/have amazing players, loads of them, and they still played awfull consider their potential. And it was the second/third season for most of them.

About City, as i said in my first post, City did started in a different way than us, but look at there squad in 2009/2010 and 2010/2011, dont you think they have unbelievably underachieved? I mean, ffs, with all those players they didnt get to the Top 4, spuds beated them!!!! And than they brought YToure, Kolarov, Silva, Balotely, and they still didnt make a real impression on someone until the 1-0 against United in the FA cup semi-final. Before that? we, with our rubbish form beated them 2-0 easliy. Manchester City, The Abu Dhabi version, are already big underachievers. But again, they can change it and amazes us all. We didnt amazed anyone, because for the first minute Mourinou came, we were the absulute best in the country. Our players partnership with Jose was like...all sparks. Very true.

If there was a poll of "Who's the best team in the world" Chelsea wouldn't win it. You obviously dont know this forum if you say that. And warnie_666, whats you point? Carlo should have got sacked, and he did. BLionheart, 2006-2007: Wierd season, a lot of injuries, finishing second and lost our title, but winning the FA CUP against Man U in the final. 2 titles, not a bad season. Im not counting 2003/2004 because it wasnt the same team, the Chelsea you see now, and the Chelsea that people know as one of the best teams in the world, is the Chelsea of Morinhou. I think you need to look more at the big picture, you are not considering the lack of experience our club had as a top club. Its not that easy to come from almost nowhere and competing with huge clubs in Englend and in the CL. I read what both of you said, I get your point, but im suggesting you to look very closly at Man City in the coming years. And look now on the reaction of people to City, why people dont taking them more seriously? im not saying people dont take them seriously, but with the squad and money they have, they should have been appreciated way more. And its becuase of there football, and because of there lack of experience. We had alot, A LOT of luck that we got a genius to start this team, without Jose I dont know what Chelsea was today, maybe this project would have failed. And you can see that after Jose got sacked, we didnt have a storng character manager that could face Roman and do what HE wants. Roman is a very difficult humanbein. Alot of our problems are because of Roman's decisions, but what can you say? I cant complain about him even if he will left tommorow. He's responsible for almost all, the good and the bad. Its not a fantasy world, you cant have it all in a split of a second just because of your money and players, there are many big, rich clubs with a big name on them, teams who hated to see us coming from nowhere and become better than them or at least int there level. Those clubs still got the fancy history and experience, mentality, and we did our very best to win them even if we are lack of those things. And we did it very well. 3 PL titles, 3 FA Cups, a CL final and deserved one more final, but uefa took it from us. Maybe in that year we would have won it? i dont want to think about that, but you need to consider it. We where the only team ever to do what we did, try to think about that also.

Someone saw France vs Chile this week? Malouda played a lot on the right wing, and he was kind a impressive with nice runs on that wing, crosses, dangerous low balls... If he will play with this energy maybe we it can be okay with him, Sturridge and This Alvero Perrira from Porto.
-
I'll say it just a bit loud so you will stop say "we dont need a left back": He's a left back and a winger, and he's better as a winger.
-
If thats true, so its a good thing we didnt won it
-
I think he's going to replace Malouda, i dont thing he will come as a left back back up. I hope so because Bertrand got to play.
-
I realy dont think so. I mean, of course not. Roman realy wants the CL, and its a big deal for him maybe, but I just dont think it is THAT of a big deal like the media says it is.

I think we did more than great. Look at City, I know they wasnt in the same position before the take over(we were in the top 4, they were in the mid table), but still, look at the players they purchased, look at their squad. And with all that they won one FA cup, when we won back to back titles and an FA cup in 3 seasons. As for the 2007/2008 and 2008/2009 seasons- yes in those years we kind a underachieved, our team was better than just an FA cup. But we underachieved in those two seasons becasue of two reasons(has been said before in this topic): 1. Roman's ego(the sack of Mourinho). 2. Bad luck(CL final, and than ridiculous referee against us). So those years were a bit painful for us. But it happens in football. But overall, it amazes me of what did we become, 3 PL titles, 3 FA cups, 2 League Cups, and of course great performances in the CL inculdes a CL final that went to penalties. So we should have won the CL, I think in one of the 08/09 or 07/08 seasons(i cant agree about 04/05 when Liverpool would have got a peneltey if the Phantom goal wasnt allowed, and Cech would have got a red card. And for the 03/04... nah, werent good enough). But it we'll come. Just think that the great Barcelona won their first only in 1992! Think that Fergie's United, "only" won it 2 times. With their amazing number of league titles, two isnt an amazing number of CL's in 20 years. Look at Inter Milan who waited 50 years I think to win it for the second time... We did great in all fronts imo. And it will be even better, if not right now so in a couple of years with Boas...
-
So we did founded in 2003 like they all say all the time?
-
WE need to try to purchase him, not Spuds  I actaully still belive we'll at least try to get him... was very disappointing to enter this topic and see its about spuds...
-
YToure playing as a AMF for City. They playing this midfield: De Jong---Milner/Bari ----- YToure-------- But yeah, still very defensive. Thats Mancini. I think there squad will be perfect(on paper) with somone like Sneijder instead of Milner, and than YToure will play the role he needs to play, 50/50. But who fucking cares...
-
Now it looks like he's staying at Inter. Inter are ready to sell Samuel Eto'o to Anzhi Makhachkala, so they wouldnt have to sell Wesley. They need money and the sale of Eto'o wiil probably bring them enough of it. Nothing is close though..
-
He isnt just a left back, he can play as a left winger, and he as great technics and great shots... scored the first two goals for Uruguay in the Copa America. I think we can realy use him cause Malouda isnt realy consistent. Look at his position when he playes for Uruguay :
-
Thats what so annoying in this trasnfer window... we need just two good signings, winger+midfielder, and we are not weaker than any team in the world. I dont know about THE best squad, because you have Barca and Real.
-
LOL Youre like a little girl Dont be so sensitive about things other people on intenet are saying, its pathetic.
-
zolayes I explained my self very well like four or five times, and I think you still didnt get all of what im saying. Try to read my posts more carefully. Its all there.
-
Your post was stupid from one reason only, you said: "I don't care what formation we play or what we call it BUT we desperately need a genuine right wing " Its seemed like you dont know what diamond says, it says we wont need a right winger because we wont play him. So when you are saying: "I don't care what formation... but we must buy one". it sounds stupid and like you dont know much about football.
-
Wow, I didnt thought you will be that offended by what i said earlier... Im SO sorry!
-
Again, and I explained that in my original post, I want us to play 4-3-3 like you, but Im saying that with our CURRENT squad, we cant play too good the 4-3-3 becuse we dont have a good right winger, and our left winger isnt doing well lately. So maybe, Boas want to play diamond, maybe not. Will see if we'll buy a winger..
-
I'll say again, we still can buy a right winger, but if we wont buy one, my guess is that he wants to play the diamond. And imo its the best option with our current squad, As long as Sturridge cant show he can play in the right wing. He's goal aganist the Chinese was impressive, but apart from that move and couple of more shots to goal when he's coming from the right wing last season, he hasnt show it enough. As for the diamond we played in Carlo first year, there is a big differens, now we have Yossi and Sturr(and maybe Modric) who can play behind strikers. With Carlo we tryed Joe, Lamps and Malouda, none of them can play good enough in this role. There is no reason that we cant play this formation. We have many CMF's and many strikers... and now we have Daniel and Yossi who in my opinion will be great in this role.
-
The season began and I didnt noticed?
-
What a stupid post. If we're going play in the diamond formation we wont play with wingers. So we wont need a new right or left winger.
