I dont think so. After I saw him in the Copa America, and understood couple of things about him, I figured its a good thing we couldnt get Neymar. Its not that he was bad in the Copa America, he was okay, but he's not what we need, and I dont think he's ready to play Chelsea/Real whatever.

But actually 4-3-3 isnt that different than 4-2-3-1. The midfielders you put in the squad decide if its a 4-2-3-1 or a 4-3-3, your third midfielder to be specific. Basicly its the same. But I agree with you, I can see us playing Lampard has a more 50/50 midfielder, a little more deep than he use to play, and than put Pastore in the middle of the 3 attacking midfielders. somthink like this will be very refreshing indeed: ----------Essien/Mikel--Lampard-------- Sturr/new--Pastore/benayoun----Malouda ---------------Drogba/Torres------------- Btw, If sturridge will play like today, maybe we dont need a new RW?

Aguaro is great, but overall? I dont think City are doing good businesses for their club. Just try to build their starting 11. And if its easy for you to do, try to think if Mancini will want to play it, and try to see how many players are out of their position. Mission Impossible.

Ramires? I dont think he is that affective in the attack to play this role. It will look like we are playing with two DMF's. You know what, If Essien was in his prime again, we could work this formation with him and Ramires maybe, but off course you would still need your RW. I personelly not realy in to it, I like to have at least one attacking minded midfielder in my squad.Someone who can create regulary and someone who threat the goal regulary.

A 4-4-2 Diamond is a COMPLETELY different thing. In that formaion you dont use wingers. If we realy want to play this formation, we just need to buy Pastore, beacuse we have the midfielders for the other roles, and we have the two good strikers. With Carlo we tried Joe and Malouda to play behind the strikers if I remember correctly, and Lampard too I think. It didnt work, its not there roles. But its Pastore can play there well.

Thats what I meant, its basicly the same thing. For a 4-4-2(or a 4-4-1-1) we'll need to get a RW, thats right, but you need the right midfielders too. You cant play with somone like Lampard to be one of your two midfielders. You need a DMF and a 50/50, someone who can realy defend and to attack, to be affective on the attack, someone like Schweinsteiger. And off course you cant play with Pastore next to Essien/Mikel too. its too offensive minded. Its just not our formation, Leave it...

NO! you are suggesting to bench Torres or Aguaro every game. Its ridicilous to buy a player like Aguaro just becuase you are not sure Torres will deliver. Do you realy think Aguaro want to be a second option? he wouldnt come. Drogba will play in chelsea next season and he can still deliver for us, but even if he wasnt good enouge, we wouldnt get Aguaro to be a second option. You dont need two strikers in that level and in that price. Especcialy when the important thing you need is wingers. You need to think about what you need. When Drogba will go/quit, we wont buy a striker for 40-50 million just to be a secont option to Torres.

Did you read my post? You dont get what im saying to you, off course we dont need to buy a striker, we dont need a stirker(A target man), even if we'll sell Anleka or Kalou. Thats because we already have Torres and Drogba, and Boas will probably play in a 4-3-3 with only one of them. After we closed that thing, Im pretty sure you dont get why people wanted Aguaro in CFC. We thought he can play in one of the winger roles in Boas's 4-3-3. I dont think enyone thought he will play next to Torres in a 4-4-2 formation. We almost cant play it and Boas didnt play it regulary in Porto. So now come back to my first post and try to understand why I think Boas didnt thought Aguaro is our man.
