Aguaro is great, but overall? I dont think City are doing good businesses for their club. Just try to build their starting 11. And if its easy for you to do, try to think if Mancini will want to play it, and try to see how many players are out of their position. Mission Impossible.

Ramires? I dont think he is that affective in the attack to play this role. It will look like we are playing with two DMF's. You know what, If Essien was in his prime again, we could work this formation with him and Ramires maybe, but off course you would still need your RW. I personelly not realy in to it, I like to have at least one attacking minded midfielder in my squad.Someone who can create regulary and someone who threat the goal regulary.

A 4-4-2 Diamond is a COMPLETELY different thing. In that formaion you dont use wingers. If we realy want to play this formation, we just need to buy Pastore, beacuse we have the midfielders for the other roles, and we have the two good strikers. With Carlo we tried Joe and Malouda to play behind the strikers if I remember correctly, and Lampard too I think. It didnt work, its not there roles. But its Pastore can play there well.

Thats what I meant, its basicly the same thing. For a 4-4-2(or a 4-4-1-1) we'll need to get a RW, thats right, but you need the right midfielders too. You cant play with somone like Lampard to be one of your two midfielders. You need a DMF and a 50/50, someone who can realy defend and to attack, to be affective on the attack, someone like Schweinsteiger. And off course you cant play with Pastore next to Essien/Mikel too. its too offensive minded. Its just not our formation, Leave it...

NO! you are suggesting to bench Torres or Aguaro every game. Its ridicilous to buy a player like Aguaro just becuase you are not sure Torres will deliver. Do you realy think Aguaro want to be a second option? he wouldnt come. Drogba will play in chelsea next season and he can still deliver for us, but even if he wasnt good enouge, we wouldnt get Aguaro to be a second option. You dont need two strikers in that level and in that price. Especcialy when the important thing you need is wingers. You need to think about what you need. When Drogba will go/quit, we wont buy a striker for 40-50 million just to be a secont option to Torres.

Did you read my post? You dont get what im saying to you, off course we dont need to buy a striker, we dont need a stirker(A target man), even if we'll sell Anleka or Kalou. Thats because we already have Torres and Drogba, and Boas will probably play in a 4-3-3 with only one of them. After we closed that thing, Im pretty sure you dont get why people wanted Aguaro in CFC. How many times can you say it? We didnt bid for Aguaro not beause we have Kalou and Anleka, Boas probably didnt thought Aguaro can be a winger, and thats what we need, not a striker. If he thought he was the right player for us, I think he would do something about it even before assessing our squad completely. Aguaro is not a winger in Athletico, so even if we think he can be, maybe he cant. And if he realy cant be a winger, we dont need him, thats it.

Not because of him, he's a great player and I personally realy like him, but with the talks about Pastore in our team, I think the midfielder who will lose his spot in the starting 11 is Rami. I mean for most of the games. IF Pastore will come, Ramires will be only a realy good squad player, but out of the reguler first 11, Unless: * He will show he can be a DMF and Boas will prefer him over Mikel (and than maybe over Essien). * Boas will decide to bench Lampard(If Lampard will play badly like last season, if not, I doubt Boas will do that) and go with Pastore has our only attacking MF. And for that I think Rami will have to show he can be more affective in our attack. * Boas will make him a proper RB has been said, and I actually think he can be a RB. * Pastore will play on the wing.

So you think we couldnt see Pastore when he played in Palermo? we do have TV's. I dont know about others, but I saw him a few times when Palermo Played against Milan and Inter, and I belive I saw him more than that.

Thats your own opinion, I dont think we need this kind of player becuase this kind of game they are bringing with them DOESN'T suit our players. Ramires cant play in a team that playes slowly, you saw him suffering when he played behind Ganso in the Copa America(And Xavi doesnt give you speed btw, thats Iniesta and Messi). And about our main man- Torres/Drogba, well, they wouldnt like it either. Its clear why Drogba wont suit this kind of game, but Torres dont realy fit to this system too. He realy struggled in the World Cup with all the Xavi's and Iniesta's around him, becuase he used to play in a more fast way, with Liverpool. So, I dont know why are you want a Modric/Xavi in our team, he wont suit us and wouldnt realy change us. Modric can be an very nice addition to our midfield, but I realy dont think he's the guy we need, realy dont. Pastore on the other hand, has the speed and the energy to combine with all of our players, asspecially the players I mentioned. I would just say it, its very very clear that most of you want Chelsea to become like Barcelona, but with our current squad, it wont happen. And im very happy with it, first of all because you cant beat Barcelona with their style of play, and it will be very hard for us to succeed in this kind of game in the PL, especially in our first season with this kind of syestem. Second of all, and thats just about me, I like my Chelsea tough, I would like some more stylish play and creativity, but I dont want us to become Francenal. I know It went a bit off topic, but I needed to say it.

I dont think anyone here thinks Pastore worth 50m Euros. The last reports talked about 30-35, I dont mind we'll pay this money for him.

League stats from last season: Snijder- 5 assits in 25 games. Modric- 2 assits in 32 games. Pastore- 5 assits in 34 games Btw, I would definitely preffer Sneijder over any AMF we might buy, but Inter dont want to sell I think, and off course his wages are too much, so he isnt an option.

Why would I? I was kidding if you didnt got it. Im not a HUGE admire of Pasrote, but from what i've seen so far he's a fantastic midfielder, and if we are looking for a midfielder who isnt a DM(to reaplce Essien), aka- Creative, Attacking midfielder, so its got to be him and not Modrich for example.I think he is a big part of what we exactly need in our team, he's creative, he pushes the ball forward, he's energetic, he's a realy great dribbler and a great passer. I cant see why not get him if we are looking for someone in his position.
