  1. Yep, I see your point. And honestly, I'd agree with you here. I ain't a big fan to play players out of position, but in this case that could work... And he might be a better solution than Ivanovic - at least when we are seeking for an attacking play - thanks to his pace. At least, I guess that is worth a try, isn't it ?
  2. Nice. We're loaning a player having a profil which we need to get a player we don't need ? Great piece of deal. We always make shitty loans, but this one is topping all the others imo.
  3. Not bad. But what shocks me, is that there are a puma and a bird, that's weird, too many animals lol... Maybe they are zoophilous
  4. Perfect ! Like this, we don't need to buy a right back when Ivanovic retires
  5. I know he is reckless at times and tends to charge opposite players too much. But, first of all, that's something which can change (with time), and that's likely due to his age and inexperience. He has the potential to be one of the best center back in the world, hence I believe we shouldn't play him in midfield and give him time. To my minde, to play Luiz in midfield would be 'throw pearls before swine'.
  6. Yep, plus we still have Didier Drogba.. Agreed with you there. And he has weight problems. I'd rather buy Neymar over Aguero for the plain reason that we don't need another striker, let alone a £40m-striker. About the bolded part. Yeah, we have more chances to sign Aguero than Neymar, but I don't see the point to buy players just for the sake of buying players.
  7. Then, we should also play Terry, Alex and Ivanovic in the midfield. They have cost us goals, and they will cost us goals.
  8. For which reason ? Just to prevent City to buy him ? Nah, we don't need him.
  9. ^ lol ! Spurs fans are really weird people... They don't live in the same world as everyone. No disrespect, but they see their cluber bigger than it is.
  10. Agreed. I don't want us to move Luiz in midfield. I don't see why we would want to move him there... Because he is "too gifted" to be a center back ? Also agreed on the part concerning Ivanovic. On Alex. I think it is a bad idea to sell Alex, now we have loaned Bruma. If it was to give more playing to Jeffrey, I would be okay to be honest... But he is no longer here, so to sell Alex will imply to buy another random overpaid defender who isn't needed.
  11. Interesting interview. The guys seems to know his shit. He has an interesting view and method on the matter. He would be a good sign I guess.
  12. Disappointed. Not really about this player, but about the message it sends. It somehow mean we aren't really ready to turn a page. And now, I'm more concerned with Anelka and Malouda... Furthermore, there are still no rumours about them leaving.
  13. You've read in my mind here ! If Madrid were to propose us to trad Ozil for Essien, I would accept it in a blank of an eye ! No. He doesn't have any abilities which allow us to call him a 'playmaker'. He needs too much time to make a pass, and he doesn't really build game.
  14. I wouldn't have bought him neither. First of all, we didn't need him at all (we didn't need strikers). As you say, his last 18 months were terrible. And I wouldn't have wanted to give any money to Scumpool.
  15. Yup. With Spain he plays along side the best passers in the game, ie Xavi Hernandez and Andrés Iniesta, and of course very good passers in the name of Alonso, Busquet, etc.. Though he did nothing special. Had he not been called 'Torres' and did not worth £50m, he would play with our reserve and wouldn't be selected for Spain.
  16. Just a question. Why the very ignorant guy wouldn't be you, who are saying he will become the Chelsea's highest scorer ever ?
  17. Thanks, I'm not the only one to think so...
  18. No-one would want to sign Sturridge for £20m ??!!!! Liverpoold bought Henderson for £20m and Carroll for £35m. United is about to sign Jones for £16m. So, Sturridge for £20m is almost a bargain. And if the article is right, then I would think it would be stupid if no-one try to get him.
  19. If you are talking only about the games in South Africa : Essien wasn't at the world cup. Anelka only played 1,5 games, and to be honest, he could have played 60 like he did, he wouldn't have been tired, not at all.
  20. Ryan Bertrand about Ashley Cole : "It's a massive positive having him at Chelsea - and a massive hindrance too I suppose!" said Bertrand, who joined the Blues aged 15. "He's definitely right up there - his attitude, the way he goes about training. He's won the most FA Cups, and a lot of other silverware, and to still have that attitude at his age is fantastic." "He's a fantastic role model, despite all the stuff that gets written about him. He's a brilliant man and a brilliant player to have around to help you with your game." "If I ever have anything to ask him about a certain situation on the pitch, he's more than happy to come back and talk."
