  1. Well, I am not confident with Bosingwa at back... Last year we have conceeded the goal because of him (for the record). And McEachran or/and Benayoun should have been started. Our midfield is way too much 'not creative'.
  2. Ancelotti wasn't good enough to make us play a decent football in 2010-2011.
  3. ^ Think about it, there's not only members coming from english-speaking countries... To paraphrase could help some non-english speakers to fully understand what he said...
  4. 1 - Ancelotti was sacked because he wasn't good enough. 2 - "signing Lukaku means selling Sturridge" is nonsense. Because Sturridge won't play in the same position and because next year Drogba will be very old, Kalou will always be shit, we can't say whether Torres will be good or will flop, and thanks to God Anelka will be no longer here. All the players you've mentioned aren't up to the Chelsea level. If they had stayed, they only would have got the odd apperances in the carling cup and against West Ham. Though, Bruma is another story, he went in loan to get experience. So all of those sales were the right choice to make.
  5. First of all, you can't compare Ferguson hiring at Manchester United and what happens to our club since Roman has come. This is two very different epoch, and our two club weren't in the same situation. Indeed, Ferguson was hired in 1986, Roman's took over the club in 2003 and his first manager was hired in 2004. That does almost twenty years of difference !! The fooball world has well changed between 1986 and 2004. Futhermore, the two clubs weren't in the same situation, and didn't have the same aim, I would say. Look where United was when Ferguson was hired ! They hadn't won the championship since 1967, so for 20 long years. They even get relegated during this period. On the other hand, Roman bought Chelsea to win trophies and to have an instant succes. Therefor, you can't compar the two situations. It would be like comparing a dog and a fish. By the way, if Red Nose would have been hired in 2005 at United, he wouldn't have lasted three trohyless years... He would have just been sacked. For your second point, I'm agree with Tomo-91. The fact that Roman fires coach just because they don't win the Champions League is a myth build by jalous and bitter persons. If you look at it, all managers were sacked because they just have to get the axe ! Maybe bar Mourinho, Roman has always made the right decision concerning the sacking of managers. Scolari and Ancelotti have been offloaded because they weren't good enough and weren't what we needed. As for Grant... Well, he was just there so we could say "we have a manager". Without a manager at all we would have done as good, if not better. About Mourinho, the decision was half stupid and half right. Indeed, it was stupid because he would have won us many trophy. But it was also justifiable because Roman wanted us to play a beatiful football, which Mourinho couldn't give us. Finally, yes stability is important. But the stability doesn't solely lies in the coach. It also lies in the board. And I think we could say that over the year, we have a good stability lying in the board..
  6. This could be true since - if I recall correctly - Lille has tried to get him in loan in the last winter transfert window. As Sh0n3x said, I'd rather him to be loaned to a Premiere League club. Though, Lille wouldn't be a bad move at all if you ask me, and I even think it would be better for him to go there than having a Fulham loan mark II. Indeed, Lille are the champion, they will competing for the title this year again, they are in the Champions League and they have a good record with the youngsters. So I presume - even if La Ligue 1 is far below the EPL in term of level - he will get more experience and will have more chance to thrive if he goes in a club who is competing for silverware (ie Lille) than going to a club fighting to stay in EPL (ie Fulham). But still, I'd rather him to stay with us.
  7. No, Neymar would be an under-21 and wouldn't count as a foreigner (at the moment).
  8. Good news. Now I'm looking forward the day he will get the n°10.
  9. Lol I know I know. And I'm agreed. But that doesn't mean we have to make shitty loan moves. If he did go there, that wasn't because it would have been good for him, where he could have had playing time and all those things but because Arnhem is the club of some Abramvitch's friend. By the way, i'd rather our loanes stay in England.
  10. Actually, it is "who makes me say that". And this "who" is Matej Delac. He was supposed to be the next big thing, our new Cech. He went there and played 0 game. And I'm afraid for Kalas because of that.
  11. At vitess arnhem ? We won't see him again lol.
  12. On a serious note. With our current team, my ambition(s) would be : • To finish in the top four. We have to be in the Champions League, for obvious reasons. I don't think we will be able to compete for the EPL, Man United seems to be very good. And City seems to be a serious contender, even if I have more and more doubts about their ability to win the championship (they still don't look like a team)... But even if they don't win, they will be there to cause us troubles. Though, Arsenal seems to be weaker than never, with their more than likely loose of Nasri and Fabregas, Tottenham is Tottenham (ie they aren't a menace) and Liverpool, despite their big spending, doesn't really look worrying. So I presume the third place is more than feasable. And I would be happy with this place. • To have a good journey in the Champions League. The 1/2 final should be the aim. Though, if we meet Barça in our way, that changes all the thing... • We should win the FA Cup or the Carling Cup. Even if those aren't that big comparing to the EPL and UCL, to win a silverware is good to valorize the work made throughout the season and to instill confidence in the players. And if we could win it/them with a young squad (ie with the likes of Kakuta, McEachran, Lukaku, etc... being a major part of the team). • To play with an attacking minded game, with flair, and in an enjoyable style to watch. • Introduce youth in the first team. McEachran, Kakuta, Lukaku and Bertrand should take an important part in our campaign so we are prepared on a long term view.
  13. My ambition : Manage to offload Anelka, Kalou, Malouda and Bosingwa.
  14. That also implies that the right back will be Bosingwa. And a pair Ferreira+Bosingwa on the right of our defense doesn't fill me with confidence, that's the least I can say.
  15. You can also say "But unlike Malouda he can dribble.".
  16. Kalou is shit, but Anelka is shitter than shit. And even if Kalou is poor, you actually can see him on the pitch, and he does try. Anelka is just a ghost, and he plays everywhere but where he is supposed to play. Just no mate. If he has to be picked ahead of someone, that's Lampard.
  17. No we do not need a new winger !! Malouda is our very own Giggs
  18. Avatar and profile photo are the same now. So you have to change your photo !
  19. This sentence alone just shows this bloody scouser has no clue.
