She's bloody gorgeous !
-
Bruma isn't in Germany ?
-
Indeed. But he breaks down all the dynamic of the game.
-
Whew !! We've finally been linked with some RBs, and especially with him. I was afraid journos were sick XD When Dani Alves' turn ?
-
Hm, now I want him and I think we need him !! Why ? Let's put it this way : If you analyse every teams who has won something during the past seasons, you will notice they have almost all something similar : a striker on fire. Let's do a brief analysis of the matter : Barcelona 2008 - 2009 : Samuel Eto'o, 36 goals. Back then Eto'o was on fire. Messi may has won the Ballon d'Or, but Samuel was the genuine Barça's best player, to my eyes. I saw a stat on him, and if I recall it correctly that was more or less "50% of Barça's first goals were from Eto'o". Which is impressive and proves his importance.Inter 2009 - 2010 : Diego Milito, 30 goals. You just gotta see what happened in the final -> Milito was somehow untouchable back then and he scored a load of important goals.Chelsea 2009 - 2010 : Didier Drogba, 37 goals. Everybody here know the story.Manchester Utd 2010 - 2011 : Hernandez, 20 goals. He didn't score as many goals as my other examples, but he scored vital goals both in Champions League and Premier League.Barcelona 2010 - 2011 : Lionel Messi, 53 goals. Do I need to say stuff ? And I think myself that a striker in a good form is something really needed for teams who seek success. Of course you also need creativity in the midfield to feed the striker in good balls, and good wingers as well. But, if you haven't someone to convert those good balls and someone to make goals out of something, then you can have all the best passers in the world it won't work. At the moment, we have three strikers. Didier Drogba, he is 33 and will be 34 next year. I don't think we can really rely on him, due to his age. Of course he could play an important role within our team, but just as a part-time player, not as our main striker and as the regular starter. Torres, he is the shadow of the player he was once, for more or less 18 months. For me, his best days belong to the past and even if he hits a good form one day he will never be the same, to my honest opinion. So, realistically, it is a bit mad to set our hopes on him. Daniel Sturridge, very good talent. I predict him a bright futur. I really like this player, I think he will be an important player for us in the futur (If we don't sell him before that), and I thinl he is a player on who we can rely on. That leaves us with just one good 'omen'... I do think to add Radamel Falcao to our striker set wouldn't be a luxury considering what I did say in my last paragraph, plus he is a different type of player than Sturridge... Of course, that's just my view.

Very true. Back in the midst of may, there's someone who has made a good post which analysed every 'caviars' Torres has been given - If I remind it correctly, that was Blue Heart. Okay, there were not many of those 'caviars', but he has been given some. And, on each one of them he has been pathetic. The problem isn't even that he didn't scored from them, but he hasn't even done something decent out of them.

Dear God. Salomon Kalou > Lukaku.
-
Yes and no. If Udinese has endorsed Chelsea to have talks with the player, that's not a tapping up ; if Udinese didn't do so, then that's tapping up. Considering that Udinese is willing to sell him, I guess some clubs have been given the right to talk to the player.

His very own twitter ?

But I could refresh my page as many time as I wanted, that still didn't work. And yeah other websites worked normally. Don't know what happened, now it's back to normal.

To ain't do off-topic in the 'what song are you listening to now', i'll answer you there. This is so wrong. It's a cliché. I could also say I don't like Rock music because they are just screaming like crazy men. But I won't do such a thing, firstly because I know this is a cliché, and secondly because I also like rock. Some rapper are very clever and are incredibly musicaly talented. For exemple, the RZA. He had produced music for Quentin Tarantino on Kill Bill I and II. He also made the music for Afro Samurai. And I can go on... No disrespect there, but to say hip-hop musician haven't talent is to be narrow-minded - In my eyes. Just like to say rock is shit or stuff, by the way.

Lukaku is overrated. Falcao isn't overrated. Did you ever hear someone say he is / will be the best striker around or he is a genious or stuff ? No. There are no reason to say he is overrated. By the way, he has scored 17 goals in Europa League... Not that bad. The core of the problem was Torres himself. Unless you think Xavi and Iniesta are shit lol

After reflection, I've changed my mind over this transfer... At first I didn't see the point in this... But, it seems it would be a Villas' signing, which mean he has more or less a control over transfers <=> a think we have asking for, for so long. Okay, we don't need him. That's a fact. However, do Sturridge, Torres and Drogba are corresponding to the kind of player he wants to be leading our attack line ? Or maybe he just wants someone he already knows to play in attack... Or simply he thinks Falcao will improve our front line. All in all, we don't consider this transfer as being necessary. But this is his team and his players, and maybe for him this transfer is necessary. I'm like : if he wants this players, that's must be for something. So, I'll give him my confidence over this transfert, just as I was confident in Abramovitch on the manager matter.
-
Impossible. Who the hell would want him ?
-
Ima only make what lineup I would like... Since Andre Villas-Boas seems to have unexpected plans for us... Cech Ivanovic* - Luiz - Terry - A.Cole Mikel Ramires - Modric Sturridge** - Falcao - Neymar * I'd rather a real right back, but since we aren't being linked with any RB, it looks like we're going to stick with what we already have in the squad, and Ivanovic is the better choice (maybe try Ramires there). ** I don't want him to play there at all, but with Falcao (if true) he has no chance to play as a striker... So let's play him on the wing and watch what happen. It could also save us some money. With a role - in the first team - given to Kakuta, Bertrand and McEachran. I'd also like to get Thiago Alcantara.
-
Yup. The problem with Sheva, was that he didn't fulfil the expectation made about him, mainly because of his price tag. But nonetheless, he wasn't poor... Torres' case is different. He didn't show any quality or reason to nourish some hope. He even made Kalou look like a world class player.
-
No. Andriy was actually decent
-
No, because the only thing he will be : a pain in the ass. Why ? Because it is hard to bench a player who's cost £50m, even if he is poor. Thus, it will be hard for the coach to pick up a selection... And to pay someone £180k per week for nothing, no thanks.

Would be a wise thing.
