  1. So what ? Are you telling me that we basically kicked out Roberto for this nameless shit ? All these fuss for the sole purpose to play a negative and lacklustre football ? Then why nobody told Roberto to play this way ? He could have as well make us play a defensive football, couldn't he ? He proved us last year - both in Champions League and Premier League - that he is able to build a team defensively very strong, a team well organized, and a team which is build around its opponent's strengths (look at the different tactics used against Barça and Munich). And he is the man who started the "Bertrand as a LW" thing. The decision to sack him has no credibility, no substance, nor logical whatsoever.
  2. I see your point, unfortunatly I cannot agree with you. You're intitled to think so. Though I won't calm down and I am going to stick to my stance. I don't want this bastard here ; I won't give him any support nor any respect. This dude abused our fanbase some years ago, he made nasty comments directed to us. This bastard said bad things about Didier Drogba, yes, one of the greatest Chelsea players of all time, the man who symbolizes our Champions League success, the man who is in our hearts. After what happened between him and Mourinho, this cunt will sit where José was sitting ; unbearable. After leaving Liverpool, he said that there was only one club in England for him, and that was Liverpool ; he even said that he wouldn't go to any other club, if I recall correctly. After all what happened, he dares to take over the manager job here ? Unbelievable. And we're supposed to accept this decision, to be obedient, to fake a smile and to act as if nothing happened ? I am not going to swallow my pride. Actually, no Chelsea fan should do it ; if one thinks he has been let down, he has to claim it. And yes, to show in public our discontent and protesting won't change things ; I am well aware of it. Benitez will still be our manager, and it's not like Roman will start to listen to us. Do governments have listened to their population when they started the war against Irak ? No. Do governments listen to their population concerning what happens in Gaza ? No. Then, all these people going on strike was useless ? It might be, since it doesn't have real affects, however it is necessary. We have a voice. We have an opinion. Chelsea doesn't belong solely to Roman. Yes, the majority of the money come from him, but we also take a part in the club life. Without us it means nothing. Therefore, if we feel screwed over, we should tell whoever harm us that we do not accept it. And yes, acting this way might ad pressure on the coach and players, and as a consequence penalise us. Although, right now the board screw us over. The board has chosen to hire someone that all of us didn't want ; they have chosen to hire someone who disrespected our club and us fans. Yesterday the board send us a clear message : they don't give a flying fuck about us or what we think, they told us that to their eyes we were just milk cows and puppet to fill up the Bridge. In my honest opinion, they have stolen our pride, they have stolen our dignity. What are we without with these two things ? Nothing. We are losing our identity. In all honestly, I couldn't care less whether he succeeds or fails here, even if this means that the club is also failing. It will serve them right. That's what we call Karma. Into my honest opinion, we don't deserve to have a good season after this event. I'd rather us to finish six in the league and do it with the head up, than to win trophies and to sell our souls. Anyway, any win with him won't be enjoyable, it will taste so bitter. And honestly, I don't give a flying fuck about his C.V. or whether he is the best option or not. He could even be Iesous of Nazareth, the jews king, I still wouldn't give a flying fuck, because this is so wrong. Morally and ethically this is totally wrong. As I said above, I'd rather have a nobody and my dignity than to with this bastard and win things. Exactly. After each and every bad result, I feel a little pain. But this is bearable (some times you win, some times you lose). But that ? It isn't acceptable. Without my dignity, even a win is unbearable. I know I am being extremist here, but sometimes you just can not leave things be. The board hit us where it hurts, this is the last straw the break the camel back. Now we gotta react. The club might lose games because of this, but sometimes you have to lose or forsake something to get out of a bad pacth ; the board is actually on the wrong road, we should let them know. It might backfire us in the short term, but if you don't act now, the long term will be worst than now. Finally, don't get me wrong, I am not trying to convince every fans to go berserk and put fire to the place. No. If you feel like supporting Benitez, then do it if you believe this is the right thing to do. I am only saying that, if there's people out there that are feeling harmed and disrespected, then they should claim it loud in public, they shouldn't shut up. We are seemingly a lot in this situation ; we should make sure the board sees our disagreement. My final words : the sooner he's out the better. I
  3. Things come and go. Time moves on and people change. Everything has its rise, its peak and its fall-down. Back in the days, Liverpool had a great succes, now they are a mid-table team and belong to the past. Le Stade de Reims played in the UCL final in 56 and 59 ; now it's just a nobody club which wasn't in L1 for 33 seasons in a row. Ronaldinho was at some point one of the best player in football history, then he lost himself. Dalglish was successful during his first spell at Liverpool, he second was quite a failure. After let's say six years of relative success, he has undergone a run of five poor seasons (well, in some of them he didn't even find a job). So yeah, he was a good manager at one point, however it just looks like he has now done his time.
  4. Supporting the team, Chelsea FC, the players ? Yes, there is no problem with this, every one here is going to do so, no matter what. Supporting a dude which is being hated by the vast majority of Chelsea population, and which has the past he has with our club ? No, that's out of question for me. No matter what, Ima never support him, never. Even if he wins us the Champions League, the Premier League and the FA Cup, I still would be praising to almighty God each and every day in order to get this cunt outta here. Frankly, does the fact of being in love with someone/something mean you must support whatever he's doing ? Does it mean you must accept everything and keep your opinion for yourself ? Does it mean you must become a yes-man and say yes to everything and blindly follow the person/thing you love ? Definitely not in my book. People blindly followed Jim Jones. They were subjugated by him, kinda in love with him, and thought he was right about a lot of things. It turned out that Jones was insane ; next thing you know is that more than 900 people died in one single day. I know my example his way too much exagerate compared to the situation we're currently in, even though, in my honest opinion, the message is still there. Another example. When people go into strike against war, do they not love their country ? Or do they just feel this is something wrong ? When you love someone, to give him huge support is logical and is certainly the right thing to do. But sometimes, you just have to say no. You gotta say no because you aren't agree with something, because you think it is a bad idea, etc... Opposing to someone doesn't mean by any means that you do not love him or support him. To my eyes, that is currently the case. Seemingly, a large amount of fans don't want this fat bastard to be any near of Stamford Bridge. As fans, we support the club in a financial (we buy kits, cloths, dvd and stuffs) and in a human aspect (we grant to Chelsea a lot of our time, we give a lot of passion and energy (some do not sleep in order to see games) and the most fortunate go to support the team at stadiums). If clubs can exist and develop, that is also because people give their money and passion. We should have our saying. I am not pretending we should take part in every decisions, but our voice should be heard about some matters (for instance : whether to move away from the Bridge ; appointing an undesirable and unwanted manager ; etc...). But this isn't the case. Last year, in the same situation (when André Villas-Boas was showed the exit door), we made it well clear that Benitez was not wanted. A day like today makes you feel that Chelsea fans are treated like milk cows. A legendary player who brought us success as a manager is fired and an unwanted person is appointed. They feel that Roberto has been unfairly treated, wasn't shown enough respect. They don't desire the spaniard because of well known reasons, and because they believe he isn't a good manager (considering his last year at Loserpool, his failure at Inter and his two year of unemployment). Therefore, it isn't surprising that some of us feel bitter, feel like they had been fooled and betrayed in some way. Then, what to do in such a situation ? Bow and accept it ? Or speak you mind out and tell that you disagree with the decision and that you aren't happy about it ? Aren't we intitled to tell our disagreement ? I believe that's what we should do. Don't get me wrong, I don't want to start a crusade against this plump block, not at all. But I do not see any problem about showing banners at stadiums where it reads our discontent or sing protest songs. If a Chelsea fan group feels like telling its mind, fine, they should do it. I am well aware that because of my position, my opinions don't weigth anything ; nonetheless I won't accept this. At least, this is my opinion on the matter and I feel like sticking to it. I know some people won't be agree with this stance. I just believe that, despite giving our full support to the team (I mean Chelsea FC and the players (except the ones who don't deserve it, knowumsayin')), we should tell the board we are not agree with what's going on and that we don't accept the new manager. It isn't because he is now our manager that we should respect him right away and suck his sick if he ever win something. His past justified the fact that some of us don't have any respect in him, he will have a lot do to gain their respect. He might be our manager now, yet he won't have my respect.
  5. As far as I'm concerned, these two fucking Liverpool spanish relics can fuck off.
  6. I do not know where to start... Ah yes : Fuck you the board, fuck you Roman, fuck you Gourlay, fuck you to whoever took responsability in the sacking of Roberto Di Matteo. I'll be honest. This summer, I wanted us to hire Pep Guardiola, because not only I believe he's one of the finest manager out there, but also because I had doubts about whether Roberto could lead us to the world-class level or not. Even if he cleared some of my doubts till know, I was still keen to hire Pep next summer. But seriously, sacking him while not even being mid-term of the season, really ? That was never an option for me. Yeah, if we where in a real mess, yeah it could have been the right solution. But we currently ain't in a mess. The start of the season has fooled us. At the moment, we cannot compete with both Manchester clubs, we cannot compete with the top european flight. We don't have a big enough squad, a good enough squad and we have to many young players. So, at some extent, we are where we belong to. Yes, the way it gone hurts, but still. So now you tell me Roberto gets sacked because he cannot make us better than what we actually are ? Yes, I also blame him for our bad patch, because he hasn't done enough about the game tactics. But hey yo ! Because of who we didn't buy a striker in the summer ? Who wanted to persist with the biggest flop in football history ? Who decided to let go Malouda (he's still there, but not really, you know), Essien, Hipster Meireles, without replace them (I do not even talk in number, but in experience) ? Who decided to only buy young and unexperienced players ? Who's in fault because we cannot rotate proprely players (and because of this, our starting eleven is burn out) ? That the board, the board and the board. Roberto, this season, had two good months with us, and one bad. He gets sacked for this ? Yes it is an ambaresment to be the first UCL winner to not going further than christmas in UCL. But I tell you Mr Abramovitch and co, who had the marvelous idea to have a big joke as our striker ? Roberto won the CL as our coach. He definitely should had have the full year. And honestly, to hire a new manager to sack him in the summer (because yes, he will be sacked for Pep) is a good idea ? No, it's obviously not. The new manager will have to assess his team during the period the most difficult of the season (because we have a lot of games). We will look like beheaded chickens ; we will lose a lot of games. That's a really bad idea, it really wasn't the right time to sack him... And believe me, sometimes I just hate Chelsea. And today I hate this club deep inside my heart. It's just a joke. Roberto didn't manage to stay more than 4 months here (as manager, not care-taker). I don't even know if it's worth it to hire Guardiola. It will cost us a lot of money, we will fire him quickly and we will ternish his reputation. It does not worth it. I tell you, if our next manager is some suckers as this fat ugly spanish, I'll stop to watch Chelsea as long as he's at the club. P.S. Sorry if I do not make any sense, but right now I am pretty fed up with this, hence I lose my french and english as well...
  7. Yeah, Ladyboy doesn't receive many through balls. I believe that's true, but one gotta wonder why, why our striker doesn't get that much of through balls ? Well well, he received a gem of a through ball three days ago, from Daniel Sturridge. What happend, what was the outcome of this through ball ? A shot ? A dangerous situation ? A goal occasion ? Nothing, nothing happened. Why ? Because Mr. Wonder-Horse didn't move, he didn't feel this passe coming - he simply didn't have the striker's reflex, a reflex that even your fourth rate striker possesses. Why would a player gift a through ball to a team mate when this team mate doesn't have the nose for through balls ? Why would you send a through ball to someone who will fuck up the move nine times out of ten, in the first place ? "and mikel should show some courage , he passes back all the time , even on counters" You do well to mention this fact. Against Swansea, during a counter-attack in the first half, Ladyboy received a good through ball from Hazard, as far as my memory goes. It was two versus two situation. What happened ? Where your average Joe would have tried to out-speed or dribble past the defenders, he ran right into the defender without creating any danger for the goalkeeper... Against Arsenal, Ramires - if my mind corners' aren't too dusty - set him up in a counter-attack, which could, and should, have led to a goal opportunity. Instead of a goal occasion, it led to a face-palm moment : he hit the ball with his back-heel, and the counter-attack was dead. It didn't happen once, but twice. I could go on with such examples ; though it's so frustrating that I'd rather not remind them. And on top of that, if he doesn't do the right calls, isn't in the team's flow, no wonder he receives nothing.
  8. Fellaini without his afro hair looks as wrong as a shaved cat......
  9. After pathetic performances, he is still starting games. After scandalous comments on the club, for which any other players at other clubs would have been dropped, he is still starting games. After shameful behaviours like he had against Manure, he is still starting games. We are wasting time, money and points just for his sake, but we get nothing in return from him except frustration - he doesn't even bother to feign doing his best. I tell you, the day we will get rid of him will be a great day. Till then, his place is in the reserve with Malouda. I am really sick to see this ladyboy wearing our beautiful blue shirt, I truly am.
  10. No, I didn't missed your point, bro, it's rather you that missed my point - or did I misspoken myself ? Possible. All I was trying to say, is that you are bring up the fact that Lampard was our best player from X to Y, which makes Lampard better than Didier ; so I am answering to you that with the same reasoning, I can say Drogba was our best player from X' to Y', and as a consequence he should be the better out of the two. I wasn't trying to argue who was better, not at all bro - actually, I was trying to point out that this kind of argumentation could be used both way : in Lampard's favor or in Didier's favor. And it seems that you think that Cech was a more important player than Drogba thanks to his important saves. I hear you out and I think your opinion is entirely legitimate. Though, once again I could say that without players such as Claude Makelele and Essien sitting next to Lampard, the later man couldn't have gone forward that much, therefore he couldn't have scored that much, therefore blabla... Once again, I am trying to discredit Lampard or stuff ? No, all I am trying to tell you is that if you are using this kind of argument in Lampard's favor, I can use it as well in Didier's favor. And even a third man could use this argument in X's favor in order to make him look better than both Lampard and Drogba. And if you're saying Drogba wasn't the better in 2011-12, because Cech and Ramires were also crucial, why not saying the same stuff about Lampard best period - i.e. 2003-06 / 2007-09 - ? Because, as Didier wasn't the only crucial player last season, Lampard wasn't alone on the pitch a few years ago, as far as I know. Don't get my wrong ; I ain't trying to take a dig at you, at Lampard, or whoever. Nor I am trying to say Drogba is head and shoulder better than anyone. I am just saying that, if we do not use double-standard, debating this way will lead us nowhere but to rewrite World's history.
  11. Bro, this is an endless circle. I can copy/past your sentence that I quoted, switch names around and legitimately make Drogba looks better than Lampard. In 2009-10, when Lampard started to be on the wane (despite his goal record, he wasn't that good compared to his best level), Didier was the best goalscorer in the league with 29 goals and managed to have 10 assists ; and he was voted the best player of the FA Cup final, a final where he scored to only goal and allowed us to win it. In 2011-12, while Lampard was busy in having a cat fight with Boas, Drogba was faboulous in the Champions League, scored the first goal in the FA Cup semi-final, and then scored the winning goal (as far as my memory goes) in the FA Cup final. During our two most successfull seasons - i.e. the double EPL/FA Cup, and the double UCL/FA Cup -, Drogba was our better player (at least into my eyes), and he played a major part in our success. So you see, with the same arguments you are using to "write off" (it isn't the best word, though I cannot find better right now) Drogba, I can use them to "write off" Lampard in Drogba's favor. Both players have been pivotal for Chelsea, at different times. It happened that Drogba was pivotal in our most successful season(s), that must be the reason for which he has been voted as the greatest. There's nothing to get offended about, and this doesn't discredit Lampard by any means. And I think we'll agree on this, there're no needs to carry on this debat, it's time to be happy for Didier, and put a stop to this endless discussion. It's not as if Lampard was ranked 79th...
  12. I do not know how comes he's criticized for his mistakes while Terry and Cahill are getting away with it. Don't get me wrong, into my eyes his mistakes are a genuine concern and all, but into my book, the two english are as mistake-prone as him, if not more. I believe it comes from his eccentric look, and that medias' propaganda (ever since his second game for us, against manure) has worked. Although, it gotta stop. I don't know what happened in his head this summer, but he kinda has gone backward - and I believe the coach could also take his share of the blame. Indeed, I thought André Villas-Boas did a superb job with him. From mid-autumn to May, David was marvellous - his game had been simplified, he was making simple and safe passes, wasn't trying to attempt stupid passes or dribbles. I guess that a psychological work will have to be done on him ; the Luiz of last season has to come back !
  13. In two seasons, that is the second time he starts as our lone striker (last year it was against Blackburn, away from home). Each time, he didn't performed that good and was written off right away by fans. It is fascinating how people are dubbing him as not good enough, etc. after one game, while they took so much time to realise that some players weren't good enough or past it. He doesn't have match fitness, and he doesn't play in a position that suits him (and how many time did he play there during the last 24 months ?). For Christ sake, give him some time, as Di Matteo was given time after a bad start of the (pre)season, as many players were given time, as Torres has benefited of blind faith despite being one kind of a flop. He needs a fair run of games to be juged. Before this, give him some slack.
  14. Torres is the man to lead only one thing : he is the man to lead our transfer list.
  15. Bruma is still at Hamburger. The loan deal was for two years (or one year with an option to make it two, I don't recall).
  16. The first part of your post is true, but the second part isn't. Yes, last year he was more effective when he was playing in the middle of the park. But does it make him a CM ? Not necessarily. We have to see the bigger picture and ask ourselves "why did he was more effective in a CM role than at a winger role ?" First of all, we have to keep in mind one fact : last year, he was the only player, at our disposal, who was able to create thing, to build the game. This fact could be very deceiving on our perception of him, deceiving on his stats. Indeed, in term of creativity/technical, he was the big fish in the small pond ; it could have make him look better than he was. I mean, if had a good amount of assists, this is also due to the fact that he had to do more than his normal job, since he was the only one able to make assists on a regular basis. So, despite not being his role, he was the player we were relying on the make things happen, to build the game. Thus no wonder he was more effective when playing through the middle : he was having more impact on the game ; while on the wing he was being isolated and couldn't weight on the game building. So, was he more effectif in a CM role than on the wing ? Yes. Does it make him a CM ? No, it was only a part-time job. And now we have more players in term of creativity, technic (Marin, Hazard, Oscar), we will that he isn't a great CM, that there are better players for this job, and that his real position is on the wing.
  17. It's not only about Arsenal. You can't say a good thing about a rival team without being told you are crazy or delusional. Only Chelsea's players are good. Other teams' players are a bunch of cunts, and they are shit as well.
  18. I do not think he was that bad in the second half (I didn't watch the first half), but I want to comment on another topic. I hope the board and managerial staff adopt a firm stand with him. I mean by that, that we should give him the starter position in something like 10 games in a row. If he fails to impress and to cimente his position after this run of games, then we should bench him, play Sturridge or whatever the forward that we have bought, and stop wasting our time with him. I know we have already said this many times in the past, but the board seems to keep faith in him, therefore, in this start of the season, we need to give him an ultimatum. We should fix the striker question as soon as possible. By the way, when I say "to cimente his position", I am not speaking about a goal here and a bad control turning out to be an assist there. I am neither talking about some promising signs that he can turn out to be good anew in an uncertain future. No, I am talking about genuine world-class performances, or not far away of that level.
  19. He should stop to kick the ball toward the opponent's box. The only players we have being able to put a header are our defenders. Our forwards are midgets. I don't know whether it's Lollichon who doesn't tell him to stop, or if it's him who doesn't want to change (or doesn't realise he has to), but this is a non-sense. He should rather do a short pass to a defender. Because at the moment, we lose to much possession because of this.
  20. You speak some sense. I am agree with you. As I said in a post in this topic some days ago, to say he will be good in a double pivot is a misconception of his role, and putting him in the midfield-two will take away from him all his qualities. First of all, people who say he will be good in the double pivot, seem to base their opinion on the fact that Oscar comes deep to take the ball when Brazil has the possession of the ball. This is where his role is misinterpreted. With this kind of logic, Messi would be an excellent central midfielder. From what I have seen of him, Oscar has the brain of the playmaker, he is always looking to build the play, to provide his team mates. As a consequence you will see him roaming all over the pitch, in order to make the game ticking. That's why sometimes you can see him on the wings, or deep in the midfield. Furthermore, if he does look good when he comes deep, it isn't because he has the attributes to be a deep-lying playmaker. No, this is because he doesn't have the constraints of this kind of players, i.e. he doesn't have a player to follow and chase him. And, if an opponent was to chase him deep in the midfield, it would create spaces in the opposition's defense (because it would mean that Oscar drifts out of position, and thus the player chasing him down would also leave his position). On the second hand, if we play him in the double pivot, we would waste his main attributes. Because a role in a double-pivot means a lot of coercions. The deep-lying playmaker has to stay deep ; he has to provide an important work rate to accomplish ; he hasn't a great liberty of movement. Therefore, he won't be able to roam all over the pitch as he seems to do at the moment. Once you have tied him up with significant defensive duties, and have limited the area where he can play, what remains ? Nothing special, in my point of view. And finally, despite doing some tackles every now and then, I cannot see him being good enough in defense to be there, or at least not now. And even if he was decent at defense, it would still hinder his best qualities... No, into my eyes, we should play him in front of two defensive-minded midfielders. This way, he would have less defensive efforts to give, and thus he could focus more on building the game.
  21. Some weeks ago, I desperately wanted us to buy a world-class striker. But I've come to reason : our midfield is crying out for a deep-lying playmaker. The midfield battle is the most important thing in football, into my eyes. Whatever the quality of your strikers, whatever the quality of your defenders, if you don't win the midfield battle, you will struggle to score goals and to have a rock solid defense. If your midfield isn't good enough : your defenders will be exposed and thus the back-four will be vulnerable ; your forwards won't be feeded efficiently and thus your attack will be toothless. At the moment, considering the setup we play in (i.e. the 4-2-3-1), we don't have what is required to have a double-pivot good enough. Therefore, if we plan to continue to play in this formation, we have to buy a deep-lying playmaker. If we don't, I can picture the season to be very, very long. And if we don't buy this kind of player, the only solution to have a good midfield is to ditch the 4-2-3-1 in order to play in a setup allowing us to play a playmaker (that we already have into our squad) in the midfield (4-3-3 springs to mind).
  22. I get the feeling this is a PR buy. Of course the addition of a player like Van Persie will improve their squad, but he will be redundant and, it seems to be a luxury purchase since Manchester United has already quality strikers. But, their economic situation tends to get worse (or at least, it doesn't get better). Their owners are hated, among ManU fans, because of this. They are even more hated now that they stole half of the money that United got from the bourse. So I suspect that this buy is like a gift to calm down the fans (a bit in the same fashion of what Ferguson did some weeks ago, i.e. telling to medias that the Glazers were great owners). And also to show that they are still a force on the transfert market and can attract world class players/talents (especially after Hazard and Lucas turned them down).
