That’s all nonsense. Chelsea had already finished 3rd when the new owner took over. It’s completely different from the situations Klopp and Arteta found at Liverpool and Arsenal. This is just throwing sand in the fans’ eyes. This is going to be the owner’s fourth season, and we’ll most likely miss out on the top four again. So far we’ve had 12th place, 6th place, 4th place, and now probably another failed top-four finish. How can anyone believe this is going to be a success?
We didn’t need to wait this long after already finishing 3rd under Tuchel and spending that much money. The mediocrity of the board is obvious: Madueke was sold and replaced by Gittens, who cost about the same but is clearly a worse player! How does that make any sense?

⚫️Chelsea have NO plans to sign a centre back in January and they will not be signing a goalkeeper in January or next summer. Sanchez, Jorgensen and Penders are regarded as being good enough.
