  1. Well, here's a break down. We have the new signings (3): Returning from loan (5): Main squad, not involved in Euros (11): And finally the players who will join late after the euros, with their expected return dates (6): I'd expect the likes of Todd Kane, Nathaniel Chalobah, Jamal Blackman and Lucas Piazon to go from the reserves too.
  2. Irrelevant. Didn't finish the tournament til Sunday and each player is given 21 days holiday minimum. And after theyd all need around a week/10 days training to get fit enough for a friendly.
  3. I'd imagine all the Euro players will miss the Seattle game and perhaps the PSG game. Perhaps Cech might play a part, but would be too early for the rest. England players and Malouda expected back to training on the 15/16th.
  4. Chelsea TV headlines: RDM confirms to Chelsea TV that Eddie Newton and Steve Holland will stay and form his backroom staff. No mention of training today though, so assuming that starts tomorrow.
  5. Not really the right place for this, but. Chelsea TV from next season will provide live commentary on each and every game. Decent last resort.
  6. How is 'I've arrived in London' egotistical?!
  7. It's not being shown in full, but blues news at 6:30 should show a lot of it.
  8. I thought he was decent. Bottom line is he couldn't get into the Wolves team last year. I don't see this happening.
  9. Today. Players involved in the European Championships will get 21 days. Listed their likely return dates in the notes above.
  10. From press conference: - Spoke to Daniel Sturridge, feeling better, but has Viral Meningitis. Currently still in hospital. Will be monitored daily. Club doctor with him, updated hourly. Hopefully he'll play at the Olympics. Difficult to give a time limit on him, but optimistic.
  11. RDM press conference key notes: - Spoke to Daniel Sturridge, feeling better, but has Viral Meningitis. Currently still in hospital. Will be monitored daily. Club doctor with him, updated hourly. Hopefully he'll play at the Olympics. Difficult to give a time limit on him, but optimistic. - Very happy to be staying at the club. Always said he'd accept and respect any decision and is looking forward to working with the group of players to bring more success. - The pressure of the job will remain the same, a lot of games this season. - Says the end of last season was 'fantastic' and we have the players to be able to compete again this year. Says at Chelsea you always want/need to be able to compete at all levels/competitions. - Says the 'shadow of Guardiola' will not be effect him, says its been there since day one. - Eden Hazard is a 'wonderful player', achieved alot for a player at such a young player. Should not forget he is still young, but will hopefully bring alot of creativity to the team. - Marin will be versatile, which is very helpful for the team. - Says he is happy with the team, will continue to monitor the market, and if there is any opportunities we will act. - Would not discuss Hulk, as the price would increase. - Benayoun and Malouda are still here, and 'will see what happens'. - Expects Frank Lampard to return fit when he returns to pre season training. - Happy for Mata and Torres, says hes congratulated them despite it being against Italy. Said Torres winning golden boot is 'fantastic' and could provide confidence to Fernando for the new season. - Wished AVB good luck and says he'll be a success at Spurs. Isn't surprised that he got a new job quickly. - On goal line technology vote this week - RDM is in favour, and says 'its just a matter of a time'. - On whether he'll be here in six/twelve months time, he says he knows managers are judged by results, and its no different for him than anyone else. - Went on holiday after Munich, which is why the appointment took longer than expected. - 'Goal' is too win as many games as we can and challenge in all the competitions we are in. 'Priority' is to challenge. - Drogba was an outstanding player, but we have to move on, and other players will rise to the occasion and fill the gap he has left. On Torres replacing him, he says we have different options with Torres, Sturridge and Lukaku'. - Transfer market not about how much we spend, but finding the best players and most functional players for our team. - Training at Cobham until the 14th, then travelling to America. - Players from the European Championships have 21 days holiday and then return. So the England players are due to return on the 16th, Cech the 11th, Malouda the 15th, Meireles the 19th, Mata/Torres 22nd. so will start training when the team are in America.

  13. I liked the guy, but I wish people would stop calling Belletti a legend. As for Maicon, at £6-8m, I think we've done a good deal in today's market. Yes, Debuchy or Azpilicueta would have been potentially more exciting to see sign, but Maicon has been there and done it, got the tshirt. He's won everything and IS a good player. Signing Azpilicueta would have been a huge risk. He's been injured for 75% of his time at Marseille hasn't he?
  14. Yeah. I'd still expect that to be RDM and maybe Eddie/new staff.
  15. 'Chelsea reject, at the lane' to be sung next season? Not just against Spurs, sing it every game.
  16. Normally don't do player PCs til the tour starts. Normally they have them in America. I haven't heard of a PC scheduled tomorrow, but if true, its likely to be to introduce RDM as the permanent Chelsea manager.
  17. Drogba's goodbye to the Stamford Bridge dressing room.
  18. Watching the itv highlights of this game for the second time today already. Am I the only one still watching this match daily? Obsessed.
  19. Salomon Kalou ‏@Skalhuno It was good till the end!! #forevergratefulcfc Salomon Kalou ‏@Skalhuno I got in by the guest door n left in the front door with my head high Salomon Kalou ‏@Skalhuno “@coolandbreezy: @Skalhuno I will miss you X” me more:(
  20. Them replica trophies are horrific. People are really going to buy them?
  21. Woah Billy Billy, come and have a look at what you could have won. Has he won anything since he left Chelsea? What a fool.
  22. Macron really are horrific kits.
  23. Gallas being heavily linked today with a move to West Ham. How the mighty have fallen eh? Slowly edging his way down the ladder of London clubs. Even more reason to want West Ham to fail next year.
  24. Some of the reactions when Bayern players miss/Chelsea score from the Chelsea bench/centre circle are brilliant. Those scenes will never get old. Incredible night.
