  1. I wouldn't want us splashing 120m on Bellingham either, especially since he seems to be a colossal cnut. I'd rather go for Lavia, as I think we can grab him for 40-50m this summer, especially if Saints get relagated. Sounds like a great option for Monaco, Dortmund or Benfica. Not Chelsea. Whoever we appoint should be able to develop younsters AND manage players who are already proven to be world class.
  2. I reckon @Pizy meant that Gallardo never managed a big European club. Which is true. While River are a historic club in South America, the culture there is totally different from the one in Europe, especially in England. You don't hear about River spending hundreds of millions of pounds on one or two players, they are usually a feeder club for European teams. And it's usually the 2nd or 3rd tier teams that buy from them, not even the elite. They deserve respect and are a huge footballing institution. But bringing to Chelsea a manager who had a 53,77% winning ratio with River would be a crazy thing to do, in my opinion. Gallardo is actually a free agent now, after quitting the River job in November 2022. Everybody would be put under huge pressure once they decide to take over at Chelsea, but at least you know that people such as Enrique or Nagelsmann were put in similar situations in the past. For Gallardo, it would be something completely new. In my opinion, Gallardo should only be taken into account if Boehly & Co. buy another club (e.g. Strasbourg), and only once he proves that he can handle himself well there, then he can become an option for Chelsea.
  3. My question is: isn’t Gavi the same profile of player as Enzo?
  4. There are too many holes in our finances, from what I've been reading lately, and we will need those money to fill them. There's no sponsorship deal in place yet and it's getting quite tight. Plus, the pressure that's surounding Chelsea is gonna give other clubs great power in any negotiation. I think it's gonna be really tough for us to sell unwanted players for high amounts of money. Under these circumstances, it would't surprise me if we cash in on Colwill and Maatsen. In my opinion, this summer is make or break for us, in terms of financial stability and I hope the owners get their priorities straight.
  5. This worries me. What also worries me is the fact that we are still thinking about big money transfers, such as Felix or Osihmen. At this rate, the club is going to get run into the ground under this ownership. There is no sense of direction. They seem to be ready to throw money at anyone who is wanted by rivals or is making the news like Osihmen. He's a great striker, but considering the circumstances, can we really afford thinking about signing him? It seems that for any problem that this club has, the owners think that money is the solution. It's not, at this point. After our UCL success in 2021, we were able to throw a ton of money at Inter for Lukaku and it was the logical thing do to, even if that project actually failed after all. But under those circumstances, it was fine. Everyone thought that we needed him, considering that Haaland was untouchable for us. Now? No way. We need a Toney-type striker, someone who woudl cost around 30-40m, not 100. We also do not need Felix to stay, not for 80m. I feel like too many people do not understand how risky and dangerous our position is at this time. Everybody is watching us and the media has been putting pressure ever since Boehly & Co. started spending. We need to stop spending and start being smart. Doesn't he have the same profile as Enzo? I don't see the point of bringing him in. Are we trying to build two teams or what?
  6. I can’t see the owners admit to making yet another mistake and selling Cucurella. He is here to stay, so we should probably say goodbye to Maatsen.
  7. He is set to sign a new contract, valid until 2027, according to David Ornstein.
  8. A lot can happen between now and the game at Emirates. Anyway, I would rather count on Newcastle stopping them.
  9. Because city winning the league doesn’t bother any Chelsea fan. City can win another 5 in a row and no one would care. There is no rivalry between us and them. Arsenal winning it, on the other hand, would be a disaster.
  10. Please Liverpool, I’m on my knees!
  11. Exactly. This is why I keep saying it’s naive to dream of another UCL trophy. Even if we get past Madrid, we still have a semifinal to play against City or Bayern, before getting into the final. If we had to play any of those in the final, anything would be possible, just like in 2012 and 2021. But getting past any of them in two legs? With this spirit, this squad and this manager? No way.
  12. The board and the manager should come together and make a list of players who will be here for next season. The manager should discuss with the players and see who is unhappy and wants to leave in the summer, while the board decides who they want to sell. I am 100% sure players like Pulisic, Ziyech, Aubameyang do not want to stay. So why use them? Are Gallagher and Havertz going to be sold too? Don't play them! Use Carney, Enzo, Kante and whoever else you want in the middle, if Kovacic is not ready to give it all. Use Fofana in attack. Use Madueke instead of Pulisic. Use Badiashile in defence. We have options. There are enough players who should be determined to get ready for next season. What's up with all this "we have to keep everyone happy" nonsense? The priority should be the well-being of the club. I can only imagine what it feels like to be Carney. He was supposed to get playing time, yet he has to watch all of these useless pricks get ahead of him in the queue. And for what? This is where all the chaos comes from. There is no sense of direction whatsoever.
  13. There is now way we don’t lose this. I cannot find one single reason to be optimistic.
  14. Outpowered, outpaced, outclassed. Ridiculous. Now wait for the “We go again” posts on Instagram from these overpaid cunts. Fuck all of them.
  15. This ref is a complete wanker. How is that not a yellow?
  16. We are playing way worse now than we were before the subs. I am shocked. Real’s gonna trash us.
  17. We are even worse now that subs have been made. Shocking.
  18. Watch Aubameyang walk on the grass for 25 minutes now.
  19. Traore to come in and rip us a new one on the counter.
  20. What is Lampard waiting for to change something? We are getting dominated and cannot create shit. Change the system already, this is not working!
  21. Isn’t Anthony Barry our set piece coach? I wonder what Tuchel sees in him, because we really are sh*t at set pieces.
  22. He never really came back from his last injury. Chilwell is miles ahead of him in terms of getting some form back. With the exception of Enzo amd Fofana, no one seems to be bothered.
  23. N’Golo Kanté, not even on the bench on Frank Lampard’s debut as new Chelsea caretaker manager. 🔵 #CFC 🚨 NO injury… as Lampard explains Kanté is “rested” as “we have to protect a couple of the players in the squad”.
  24. Kante is not in the squad. Hopefully he is rested for Madrid
