  1. I kind lf hope Forrest go down. They seem to be a bunch of cnuts, fans and players.
  2. Weird and covenient injuries for Mount, Kante and Kovacic. I have a feeling that they won’t be wearing Chelsea’s jersey again.
  3. "Chelsea want to make the best choice, and they’re taking their time; nothing is signed or done yet." - Fabrizio talking nonsesne. Chelsea have already made their choice and it's Pochettino. The reason why this is dragging is that they still haven't been able to find an agreement on some clauses, I suppose. Problem is that, if they still won't be able to, a lot of time has been lost. Just like last season, because of the takeover. It has to be Poch, otherwise we'll be up for yet another chaotic pre-season and, probably, season.
  4. I cannot find anything about Mane. Can someone enlighten me? Thanks!
  5. To be honest, he is one of the players who dissapointed me the most during this season. Only Azpi and Kante have been at the club for longer than him and Kepa, who both joined during the 2018 summer. I was expecting him to be more of a leader, someone to inspire those around him. Yet, when things went bad, it felt like he joined the "just wait for the summer so we can GTFO" gang. He always seems ready to give it all for his national team, while injuries are recurrent at the club. Kind of weird. Of course Kovacic is a fantastic player, when he is up for it. But it seems like he's never been up for it with Chelsea, since the second part of last season. Even last summer there were rumours that he doesn't want to be here anymore. Get some good money on him and good luck. We cannot keep players just because we are scared of them potentially succeeding somewhere else. If he comes good at City or whatever, good for him. But if or when that happens, remember the poor effort and attitude that he's shown in Chelsea colours, during the past year.
  6. Our success masked underlying problems, indeed, but it's not overblown at all. Winning the European Cup is undeniably difficult. Just ask City, PSG, or even Arsenal. It's not like other clubs don't want to do it. They just don't have what it takes. We do, or at least we used to. Remember that we beat Arsenal and Manchester City in European finals. We even beat Bayern Munich in a final, on their own ground. That's one of the biggest challenges that you can get in football. It could be topped only by beating Real Madrid in a UCL final at the Bernabeu, probably. We're in a shit situation, but let's not downplay our accomplishments. Chelsea are still the most successful English club since 2003 and one or two poor seasons won't change the fact that other fans can only dream of the joy that we were able to feel during this time. Just look at those poor basterds at Arsenal. They act like they are champions of the world, yet they have nothing to show for. We, on the other hand, have won it all. And we will be back. There is no way we won't.
  7. If their “long term vision” means waiting for all those 17 and 18 y.o. kids that they keep buying (instead of giving the academy lads a chance) to turn into world class stars, then God help us.
  8. They are playing like a team and they only need a few more points to be 100% safe. Unless Lampard sees the light and decides to play the young lads, I cannot see anything else but another L coming our way. Kepa - Chalobah, Fofana, Badiashile - RLC, Carney, Enzo, Kante, Chilwell - Madueke, D. Fofana (or Havertz), Mudryk
  9. Mudryk >>>>>>> Sterling. Him and Madueke should start every game from now on.
  10. It used to be men agains boys, in the Mourinho era. Now it’s men against useless twats.
  11. But who picks the same players time and time again? I am sure Carney, Hall or David Fofana care more than these twats.
  12. Madueke has been our best player. Goes to show how shit Lampard is as a manager. Why don’t you use Carney, Mudryk, Hall? What do you have to lose? Why use Kovacic, Sterling?
  13. How can they look at themselves in the mirror?
  14. Kovacic keeps playing like a ballerina.
  15. Disgusting. Never felt so impotent in my life.
  16. I hope he‘s mature enough now to do so. All Roma fans adore him. If I was Mou, I’d stay there until they sack me or I decide to retire. It’s a great place to be for him.
  17. I don't. But considering what Tuchel was sacked (allegedly) for and how big Boehly and Eghbali's passion for visiting the locker room is + how long it's already been since negotiations with Pochettino have started, I wouldn't be surprised if everything goes to shit.
  18. Spot on. From my point of view, the ownership can get the benefit of the doubt and we can forget about this season, as long as they get it right from now on. This means that they must appoint a manager who comes in with a system that can bring the best out of the likes of Madueke, Mudryk, Enzo etc. Regarding the change of ownership, again, I agree 100%. It was always going to be difficult, but we probably never expected it to be THIS difficult. However, considering that they came in totally unprepared, it's probably logical to think that mistakes were unavoidable. The only thing that matters now is to see that there were lessons that these guys learned. This summer really is make or break for them. There are so many things that need to be sorted and they have to get it all right: announce Pochettino asap - it's quite obvious that he's our main target now, but what worries me is that there're reports saying that not all of the the board members agree on this. Too many opinions, maybe? make things clear regarding the structure of the club - it seems that we want to bring a scouting guy that Poch worked with in the past + Paul Mitchell. What are all of these guys going to do at the club, together with Vivell, Winstanley and all of the others? Also, what happened to the multiclub idea? sell every single player who doesn't want to work here, under the new manager - I don't care if his name is Reece James, Thiago Silva, or Mason Mount. If they don't want to be at Chelsea anymore, they should be let go. stop signing shiny toys - it's quite clear that we need to sell lots of players, integrate Andrey, Colwill and maybe Maatsen + get a new GK, CDM and a striker, unless it's somehow decided that Lukaku must be given another chance. That's it. get to work - I hate how much media coverage our club is getting at this moment. A lot of leaks, talks and speculation. This needs to stop. We have become a tabloid of a football club. Boehly, Eghbali and anyone who likes attention should take a step back and let the football speak.
  19. Can someone please send a "Kind reminder" to the corporate guys in our board?
  20. Fabrizio “news-recycling machine” Romano
  21. Quote from a 2015 article: "Harry Kane, Dele Alli, Eric Dier, Ben Davies and Nabil Bentaleb are all aged 22 or younger. Érik Lamela and Christian Eriksen are 23, Ryan Mason 24 and the full-backs Danny Rose and Kyle Walker both 25. Even the goalkeeper Hugo Lloris and experienced centre-half Jan Vertonghen are under 30. The average age of Tottenham’s team against Manchester City in September was 24 years and 40 days, the youngest in the top flight this season, if still marginally older than the club’s youngest starting XI in Premier League history, which stands at 23 years and 97 days against Sheffield Wednesday in 1992." + Son was 22 when Spurs signed him.
  22. We need a man that can build a team using young players. Mourinho is great at getting the best out of experienced players. No way he would work right now at Chelsea. At this point, appointing anyone bar Pochettino would be a huge gamble and would kill the last bit of hope that we still have.
