Clearly fake news.

Different windows, different markets.

Sure, I am not criticising his choice, I am just saying that he's not on a level so high that he can afford making such demands from the Champions of England and expect them to be accepted. I mean he can do that, but we would be stupid to accept. I'd rather have a youngster play than make such a compromise for Oxlade Chamberlain, a guy who proved almost nothing so far. Good luck to him and good luck to us finding a RWB. We shouldn't have let this go so far.

Both Joe Cole & Daniel Sturridge chose Liverpool over Chelsea to pick their own position & win things. Number of trophies they won there: 0. (Dan Leven on Twitter)

Can't really see any connection between these two. Ox rejected us because of the role he would've played here, while Alex Sandro wasn't signed because Juve didn't want to let him go. Alex Sandro did not reject Chelsea.

Well, the lad is not Dani Alves or Marcelo. He cannot afford to demand playing in a certain position. Wish him best of luck.
-
Because his price tag created unrealistic expectations. His figures are not bad for Real, but he's not been consistent enough. And it's difficult to shine when you're always in Ronaldo's shadow.

Drinkwater is clearly going to be a bench warmer. I really can't see him imposing himself as a regular starter. I think even he knows that. Barkley, on the other hand, has the potential to do something fantastic and to be a very solid addition on the long term. I would like to have him here.

Nope, because Pep will also sign Johny "Maldini" Evans who will take City's defense to the next level
-
Keita Balde is off to Monaco. Howedes to Juve. I have to admit that Monaco and Juve did some fantastic pieces of business this summer.

I really do not understand why people can't give the guy a chance here. I mean he is wanted or at least accepted by Conte and who can question Conte at this point? Also, he's homegrown, he proved himself in the Premier League and made a great partnership with Kante. What's so bad about this signing? The price tag, which is actually absolutely decent on the current market? The fact that he doesn't have a fancy name? Or the fact that his overall in FIFA will be a pain in the ass for all of us? I reckon he will only be the new Mikel. A very useful squad player, who knows the league and can help when needed.

Looking good in blue.

Substitutes : Caballero, Christensen, Tomori, Bakayoko, Kenedy, Musonda Jr, Batshuayi Hope everything goes well and Musonda Jr. gets to play a few minutes too.
-
Come on, boiii!

Great group! Finally something exciting happening to us in the UCL. Honestly, I was sick of playing Basel, Dynamo Kiev and then struggling against the first strong opponent coming our way.
-
Also, gotta love the Luiz's interception. Fantastic standing tackle to recover the ball.
-
If this guy is sacked, can I resign from my "Chelsea FC supporter" position?
-
Loved his attitude. He's a fighter. Give the lad some time and it'll all work out well.
-
Yeaaah boy, fuck me Marcos!!!
-
Should've made it 2-0 when we had the chance. Frustrating days to be a Chelsea fan.
-
Sign him up already. He made a good pair with Kante and he's only going to be a squad player.

Lol why are you so defensive? I just offered arguments from what I think it would be Aurier's point of view. I never said that I want us to spend billions on players. I just stated the fact that those guys pay higher fees and can offer better wages than Chelsea. Again, do you think that Aurier gives a crap about United being in debt or us respecting the FFP?
-
I really can't see the point that you're trying to make, honestly. It feels like you're trying to defend our board, not to offer arguments why Aurier should pick us and not United. Yeah, I agree, the fact is that United ARE rich, OFFER bigger wages and SIGN some great prospects. This is what any footballer cares about, not Chelsea's financial health.
-
Ambition is something that you have about your future, not your past. Look at how United are building. They are giving their manager whatever he wants. They spent almost 200m on Pogba and Lukaku, two of the most promising players in the world. They covered almost all of the flaws. They managed not to sell De Gea, arguably the best GK in the world at the moment. In the meantime, the champions (us) are losing out on almost all of their main targets (last summer and this summer). No Koulibaly, no Sandro. A lot of reports claim that we have a 30m, give or take, barrier when it comes to transfer fees. As much as I hate United and I despise Mourinho, I have to admit that Jose has a lot more benefits there than Conte has here. The recent success is not an argument for ambition. The actions for the future are arguments. Why would Aurier care that we won a lot of trophies since United's last EPL win? That's like saying that Arsenal are more attractive than City because they have won two throphies in the past two months. Our board needs to start getting the job done again with at least one big, expensive signing in order to make a point. Morata doesn't cut it.
-
Well, can we blame him? United clearly have far bigger ambitions than Chelsea at this point.
