  1. That's because Twitter is busy talking about clubs who actually sign players.
  2. Maybe this is the beginning of a nice relationship with Torino's board, a relationship that gets us the mighty Belotti at one point.
  3. Great source. I recommend everyone to listen to The Calcio Land Podcast, produced by Alex Goldberg (an American guy, who's also a Chelsea fan) and hosted by David Amoyal, the guy who is in charge of the English version of Di Marzio's website. They always interview guys who know Italian football and Amoyal's imput is usually spot on. If we do sign Zappacosta, I will be very interested in what these guys have to say about him. Edit: http://gianlucadimarzio.com/en/chelsea-torino-deal-for-zappacosta-in-final-stages-the-latest
  4. Funny how nowadays the news are about stuff that doesn't happen
  5. http://www.gazzetta.it/Calciomercato/31-08-2017/mercato-torino-chelsea-zappacosta-25-milioni-220230830914.shtml Apparently, Torino are considering the deal, but they need to find a replacement. https://www.transfermarkt.com/davide-zappacosta/profil/spieler/173859 He seems quite decent. Italian international, decent age, Conte likes him. Just another Marcos Alonso?
  6. So Swansea really got Sanches. Way to go, Swans!
  7. Wait, so Mahrez is in Barcelona, but FC Barcelona do not want him. Welcome to Espanyol, I guess?
  8. Man, I miss the good old days when internet was not a thing. I just frustrate myself by keep checking Twitter and the Sky Sports feed. Looking for Mahrez or Llorente news and all I can find is news about the first one landing in Barcelona and the other one having a Spurs medical. Jesus Christ.
  9. Shoutout to the Man United board who did all of the business early. Must be a relief for Mourinho, after having to deal with Chelsea's useless board for three seasons in a row.
  10. Leicester, Chelsea or blau with a shade of grana.
  11. Simon Johnson‏ @sjstandardsport 13 Amid all Mahrez to #cfc talk, one source says he expects him to stay at #lcfc, another that he's off to Barcelona.will keep checking
  12. Matt Law reports that Everton are interested in Bats.
  13. Simon Johnson‏ @sjstandardsport 5 Been told another bid from #cfc for Drinkwater has gone in, but chances of deal being completed are currently rated 50-50..12 hours to go
  14. Chebli Ishaq‏ @ChebliDz D'après ce que j'ai comme information ( je laisse un peu de doute ) #Mahrez devrait porter la même couleur la saison prochaine #MercatoDz This guy works for El Maidan and is in charge of Algerian football. He claims that Mahrez will be wearing the same colour next season. He's also the first guy who announced that Mahrez will leave Leicester.
  15. Wish I could just go to sleep straight until tomorrow morning.
  16. Let's go in for Origi, at least Michy will have a friendly face to chat with on the bench.
  17. David Ornstein‏ @bbcsport_david THFC shock Llorente offer accepted #SwansFC - Chelsea close for weeks but no bid accepted. #CFC set to counter, outcome too close to call
  18. Since Leicester claim that they don't have any clear offer for Mahrez, yet the player's all set to leave, does this mean that he held talks with club(s)? From what I know, that's not really allowed, so whoever gets him, might be in trouble afterwards. Please, correct me if I'm wrong.
  19. MAHREZ UPDATE... Standby Arsenal fans. Or even, Chelsea fans.... Our Newsdesk reports that Riyad Mahrez checked into a London hotel last night. #FindMahrez So he's in London, but Arsenal are not after him. That means it's either us or Spurs. Or West Ham?
  20. So basically, from what I've read, here's what the papers claim regarding the clubs that are linked with Mahrez: Chelsea, Tottenham, Barca (L'Equipe); Barcelona, Arsenal (AS), Manchester United (Yahoo). Basically, only one club is being interested according to more than one source. And that is Barcelona. Honestly, it makes more sense that Arsenal gets him to replace Sanchez or Barcelona gets him if they can't get Coutinho.
  21. L’Équipe reported in the middle of the night that Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur and Barcelona are all in active discussions over the possible signing of the ex-Le Havre and current Leicester City winger, but that no club was close to an agreement to sign the Algerian as of late last night. The reasoning behind Mahrez’s release by the Algerian national team is so that he can rapidly arrive in Paris this morning where he will remain for deadline day in the event that he needs to quickly travel to a possible new club for a medical and talks. This Twitter account seems pretty cool: https://twitter.com/GFFN
  22. If we don't sign him, that would be the best alternative. I really don't want the guy going to another Premier League team.
  23. http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11712/11013291/riyad-mahrez-leaves-algeria-training-camp-to-seal-transfer-from-leicester Heart says Chelsea, brain says Arsenal.
  24. We have to admit that this 'we have tons of money from TV revenue' thing is going very very bad for the Premier League. Most money in the world, but you get to pay 40m for Drinkwater, 90m for Lukaku and none of the most 3 important players in the world (Messi, Ronaldo, Neymar, not necessarily in this order) are in this league. Neither is at least one of the top 6 teams in the world. Get ready for one last silly day.
