I don't think Sarri's personality is compatible with the Premier League football, to be fair. I love his style, I love how Napoli plays and how positive they are, but I can't see him in the Premier League. I'd stick with Conte no matter what. He's exactly what we need: passionate, dedicated, smart and still has a lot of time to progress. Just give him what he asks for.

Is this a joke? This man won us the league last season and is doing quite decent during this one. We are top 3 in the EPL, still in both Cups and in the UCL. Are you guys serious? Why do you want him to leave, because he doesn't agree with your super-expert tactical opinions? Lol

This comment sounds like Mourinho more than Conte ever did. He basically did nothing of what you mentioned. What war has he STARTED?
-
A little painful, but man that was entertaining.

Hope we'll play against them like we did against Atletico in the first leg. We need Hazard and Morata to be 100% up for this tie.
-
Better than against PSG, worse than against Besiktas. However, we have our chances.

PAthetic display. Once again, Cesc is dreadful. Slow and with no ideas whatsoever. Props to West Ham, though. Great effort from them.

You cannot judge a decision made a couple of years ago based on how things are now. That's not how it works in football. We won two Premier League titles without giving KDB or Salah a chance. It's frustrating, but that's football. Real Madrid had Samuel Eto'o in their hands. Stuff like this happens all the time.

Wish we could have whoever's dealing with the transfers at Bayern or Juve

Indeed, it was a remarkable goal. A la Cristiano Ronaldo. It's fantastic how high Alvaro was able to jump and he hit the ball so clean. Exceptional header.
-
Wait, what? Does this mean more power to Conte?

I don't think this will turn into another Costa-type situation. Luiz seems like a nice lad and I don't think he has an ego that big. The only thing that makes me a little skeptical is that Antonio made this public.

He's talented, but not physical enough for the Premier League. A lot of potential, though. However FCSB's owner will ask for a lot of money in order to sell him, money which I don't think he deserves. Looking at the source and knowing how things work in the Romanian league, this is probably just a rumour meant to increas his price.

It will be a total different game than the one against Atletico. However, I count on Hazard's fantastic hunger to play. He was absolutely shining against Atleti. Also, he and Morata seem to get along very well. But the most essential aspect about this game will be our defense. We have to be absolutely perfect. I'd take a draw, to be honest, but beating them just after a fantastic performance in Madrid would send a fantastic signal regarding our ambitions for this season.

I don't think it's safe to use Cesc against very strong teams anymore. He's way too slow and sloppy. I understand that he plays a big role in the squad's harmony, but he's our midfield's weakest element. Does anyone know when to expect Drinkwater to be ready to play?
-
These insane decisions regarding the schedule will only come to an end once the clubs unite and protest against those who make the decisions. I understand there are tons of money into discussion, but there has to be a way to make this reasonable for everyone. This game could've easily been played on Sunday.

holy fuck

We did push, but Fabregas has been dreadful, Morata missed a huge opportunity and we need to keep in mind that this is a point on our main opponent's field. With the CIty game ahead, take the point and walk. We can beat Atleti at the Bridge.
-
I'll take the draw.
-
Fuckk what a chance
-
They were less than mediocre for 40 minutes, but we have some deadwood playing tonight. I respect Fabregas, but he's clearly way too slow for this one. Look at how Hazard is buzzing on the field, while the Spaniard is slowing our attacking actions down. Unfortunately, I cannot see a better solution. Maybe force with Willian too?
-
The BT commentators are more excited when Atletico attacks.

Piss off.
