You're being harsh. The few last games he played, he wasn't that bad. I would even dare to say that he was rather good in comparison with our squad's performances. Though, I accord you he won't have the impact in the midfield that Ramires can have.

You seem to be referring to Torres but I think it also applies to the legends, we need to move on from our legends and their past achievements if we want to go somewhere. People will support Drogba and Lampard to the bitter end when it's clear that they are not helping the club anymore, if anything they are hindering the transition. What do you want him to do in a few minutes, I love Drogba but against Wigan he was far worse than Torres was today and today Drogba was also bad. Lets wait for January when he gets a run of games.
Torres has never and will never be the type of player to run himself into the ground, just wait a while and let him get some form going.

i can think of many matches where torres tore up the opposition, sunderland, swansea, man utd, valencia, genk, just to name a few, and with all the new signings and tactics, it was going to take awhile before everyone settled in, even when drogba was our CF some games it looked TERRIBLE (and dont say otherwise)...
now we have mata getting more and more used to the system and danny making those blistering runs, along with now our mostly settled starters in midfield that el nino never had then when everyone was trying to settle...
i still remember torres having like 15 minutes against newcastle and having an assist and could of had a goal if danny would pass which he only seems to do when didier is in...
i just dont get it...
has he performed like we all dreamt? no...
is he done for this club yet? no...

Funny how the media has taken this "hard time at chelsea" quote, while completely ignoring the fact that he was talking about how great the fans have been to him.
