We aren't the kind of club to hang onto a player that wants to leave, we might give them incentives to stay ala Lampard's contract but if they really want to leave like Fabregas(and Romeu might go down that road no matter how much you don't want him to) we aren't going to force them to stay against their will.

I can see what you're saying, he's pretty defensive. While I'd prefer us not to spend so much money on Rodwell, if he does become a Chelsea player, I hope he proves me wrong.

Actually I think there is, he's not needed in the midfield, we all know we need a creative midfielder and Rodwell isn't that man. So I think he would be coming because of his versatility and in particular his ability to play CB, would be a brilliant squad player with the potential to step into the starting eleven if needed.

I haven't watched him every week, but when I have, I haven't really been impressed. Think he's another over-hyped english talent. I'm not saying he's bad but he's not on Romeu's level if you ask me.

Villas-Boas might be saving Torres, Torres could get injured and then we'd be left with Lukaku and Sturridge as strikers and by extension no right winger during the ACoN.

I'd love Josh to become a starter but Villas-Boas has been under pressure. He was trying to play youngsters like Lukaku at the start of the season but then the pressure piled on, once he's settled young players will get a chance. I believe Roman has chosen his man and Villas Boas will get time regardless if he wins a trophy this season or even next season. We know he can throw youth in, Romeu and Studge are proof. Remember that run when Sturridge got less than 10 minutes for like 5 games.
