For Sturridge to play striker, we're going to need to move away from 433, Sturridge as good as he is, is crap at playing the lone striker.

I'd say a new right back is a more pressing issue than the centre back one considering if Ivan gets injured Bosingwa is our only option at right back but if a centre back gets injured Ivan moves to the middle and our new right back steps in. Also Ivan is not really a right back, even if he is very good at it.

Just want to make it clear that I was not criticizing Torres, we need to give him the minutes and get him on form. Torres isn't going to bulldoze his way through the defence but he has his ways and is just as unplayable as Didier when he is on form.

But Torres isn't Didier is he? Didier was that once in a generation type player, the complete forward who could do it all. But we will soon be without him and we need a striker to lead the line when he's gone.
