A few idiots like to call Torres "Ladyboy".
-
Rooney doesn't see himself as bigger than the club I think. He seems pretty loyal even if he did want to leave, he still loved the club. And Rooney is just way too important to their current team to sell, in a way Ronaldo and Beckham(as good as they were) never were.

He got that line-up from the Eurosport website, it's hardly official(they make a lot of mistakes) but it wouldn't surprise me if it was true.
-
I doubt Iva has recovered yet. When is the Bison back?
-
I think everyone was really happy with his immediate impact, we're always desperately looking for signs of form. It could easily have been a goal with more luck and an assist had Drogba done better with the ball.
-
They should all start, except maybe Chalobah, he's a bit young to play Centreback in the Premier League. They should all take part if possible but unfortunately I doubt that will happen. Maybe Villa was also a blessing in disguise though.
-
Studge could be a disaster but some of those might be blessings in disguise.
-
I'd like to see: Cech Hutch - Luiz - Terry - Bertrand Romeu - Ramires Studge - McEachren - Mata Torres Just toss the youngsters in, whether they sink or swim, they can't be worse than what we've seen and they'll be better players because of it.

I mean in his prime.

I agree, I am just stating the situation. -

I'm not happy with the squad either but we have shown that we can play when we have to. -
Fair point but if Ronaldo was never picked up because he was playing in the Portuguese league then would he have helped United to so many trophies? He may be playing in the Portuguese league but so was Rambo and so was Luiz. If we don't buy a ticket we can't win the lottery. As for his price that's just how the market is now. Any half decent player is gonna command a huge fee and that fee is multiplied when Chelsea come-a-knocking.
-
We could have Ronaldo(the Brazilian) and he still wouldn't do that great without the service. Our strikers are getting nothing and so they drop deep and then when a proper cross is fired in there's nobody there, we need wingers and midfielders before we even consider a new striker.

Drogba pisses me off because you know he is capable of a world class game whenever he wants but you can see in the first 10 minutes whether he gives a crap and how he will play.

Chelsea Sack Andre Villas-Boas

We good enough to win everything when the team gives a shit but we need them to play to their ability. -
I disagree, I think he is.
-
Drogba has had one really good game this season and made people forget about the rest of his performances. Until Drogba and co. stop being key players and move on we will never be a top team again.

He can't exactly say "This team is shit and we will accomplish nothing" can he? I find it funny that we all think we can manage the team and recognize its flaws better than a European champion and a man who watches them train everyday. He sees the problems and will fix them given enough time. -
You seem to be referring to Torres but I think it also applies to the legends, we need to move on from our legends and their past achievements if we want to go somewhere. People will support Drogba and Lampard to the bitter end when it's clear that they are not helping the club anymore, if anything they are hindering the transition. I love Didier and Frank but seriously, we need to move on.

In today's market 35-40 is not mad money at all for his talent. I'd say he's as talented as Aguero and worth as much.
-
I don't think mental money would be required, if Hulk wants to leave do you think they are going to hold out for his buy-out clause?
-
For one, we have Luiz instead of a more solid centreback like Alex or Carvalho(no disrespect to Luiz, he's a great player), Ivanovic has not been in RB due to injuries and what not and lastly and I think most importantly to say Ash has taken a dip would be an understatement.
-
His Porto team conceded a lot too, we just need to score more than opposition. And a lot the goals can be attributed to individual errors and in recent weeks Cech's bravery or lack there of. Got nothing against Cech by the way.
-
Don't care who comes in as long as we get a couple of PROPER, NATURAL WINGERS and a CREATIVE MIDFIELDER.
-
But you have to admit that half of the team's problem is the attitude, we can beat Citeh and make Valencia look like a Championship side when we want to but against teams like Fulham and Aston Villa we fuck it up.
