Funny thing is this "strong" team will still probably lose. Motivation doesn't exactly run through their veins ... and why should it, when you can play dogshit for 12 months and still be guaranteed starting places.
-
What is this shit ... doesn't say much about RLC & Co. when they cannot find a place in dead rubbers in a write off of a season like this.
-
The Times are saying this. Ben Arfa, Bonucci and Ousmane Dembele are targets while a deal has been agreed for Naingolan at £31 million.
-
The lack of English/homegrown players in the squad also breeds a certain disconnect. We're a London team - the capital of England, and it looks like we'll be left with just Cahill and RLC ... 2 out of 25 or so.
-
Still cannot understand how none of their players got a red or 2 yellows on the night

Doesn't Ivanovic have the vice captain role right now? Scenes if it is he who is chosen
-
Outlier.
-
Is he the most one footed guy at Chelsea since Ashley Cole?
-
Do something simply and uncomplicated for once, Chelsea.
-
West Brom as well.

Can you blame anyone for not being hyped about these? We're going to wear tablecloths for a season. My money has never felt this safe.
-
We took Courtois back from there and paid roughly 50m combined for Costa and Luis and yet 2 years later Atleti are in another UCL final while we're not even one fifth as good as they are. It's just pathetic.

IF Terry leaves Fabregas should be the skipper and it isn't even up for debate imo.
-
It's funny because what he said earlier about Ranieri (never won something important etc) ... as of today what Ranieri's done has eclipsed whatever Mourinho's done in terms of the memorability of it in England at least.
-
What did he say?

@DYC. I missed the first 15 and about 10 mins after the hour mark so keep that in mind. Mikel was a bit shaky for most of the first half. Jumped out of line one time and he (with Iva) couldn't clear headers which gave them a couple of good chances. To be fair to them our midfield was bypassed easily during that time and the Bournemouth guys had straight runs at our goal. Second half was much calmer and sedate, Bournemouth rarely applied any pressure and our ball players did had more possession. Fine, didn't notice either looking really winded. Matic covered a fair bit of ground. Hazard was Hazard - looking like he's going to walk before finding that burst that takes him away. Cliche - game of two halves. First half was fairly even, they created more and more often while we were more clinical. Second half they sort of just fell away while we hunkered down and got our quality going with Fab really tying everything up with exquisite passing.

I love dinked finishes.
-
What is going on with that lineup? Pointless.

B-But Paul played as Chelsea on Football Manager once ...
-
Guys we're 8th ... might get a nosebleed from being so high up the table
-
Forget everything else, what a picture ^

Yep. I just can't get invested in this managerial malarkey anymore. Rinse and repeat every 6 months. Ditto with the whole youth debate. Jaded.

Whatever man, I'm gonna weep like a baby whenever he does go.

At least we're fun to watch again and I don't have to count down the minutes till the final whistle.
