But he is correct when he says that simultaneous injuries to the collection of stalwarts like Terry, Lampard, Alex, Essien and Drogba couldn't have been predicted. We fucked up big time by not replacing the summer exodus and squad players would have made a difference. Then again, we could have given chances to Josh, Gael, Studge, Bruma and possibly Cork and Mancienne instead of sending them out on meaningless loan spells.

If that performance is anything to go by, I can't say I'm surprised. Shocking defending really.

If Drogba doesn't want to give up his position, he has to go - simple as. Chelsea > Drogba and Chelsea > Torres, and we can't afford to have the two of them mucking about. I love DD even though he makes it hard for me sometimes when he decides to throw tantrums and behave like a big baby, but all good things come to an end.

It's interesting that you say that because after I made my last post about not changing a winning team, I thought about the exact same thing you did and I wondered if playing Torres from the start wouldn't be such a bad idea after all. They get a lot of men behind the ball and 3 out of their first choice back 4 are centre halves (Ridgewell is played at left back) so physicality would something right up their alley, but maybe pace in behind isn't.
