  1. He got the goal, wrongly disallowed by the ref. Fail. And bigger fail = Torres not bothering to turn up against United and the likes, when it actually mattered. Case closed.
  2. Time to send these dirty hammers down.
  3. All the attacking excitement was down to Brom who allowed us all the space in the world - they know they're safe for the season and have no shot at Europe, basically nothing to play for now. On our part, the plethora of chances we missed in the second half showed we'd taken our foot off the pedal. Had this been earlier in the season I guarantee you we'd have hit them for 7 or 8.
  4. But he did, didn't he? What can the poor sod do if the linesman is blind? Oh wait, that's Carlo's fault as well surely.
  5. The most important issue is to replace and more accurately, improve upon the ones who leave.
  6. We weren't really playing for anything, there was nothing at stake for either of the teams and it showed really. It was a typical end of season match that's got nothing much riding on it. Torres though - dearie me, it's just not going to happen, is it? Once again incorrectly called offside. So that makes it two, counting the perfectly legitimate yet disallowed goal against United in the league. MOTM - Ashley Cole for me, put in his best performance in a long while.
  7. This is not about Torres scoring, this is about Chelsea winning and getting points on the board to put Arsenal under pressure. Sort out your priorities ffs.
  8. See that's what the problem is - you just can't see the player's fault no matter how poorly they play. Granted Carlo makes some mistakes, but you conveniently lay the blame entirely upon the manager, because it's easier to find one scapegoat and sack one person than sack eleven. lol okay, whatever you say Like I said, I give up. There's only so much I can try to make someone see sense. Peace out.
  9. You're telling me it's the manager's fault if a player can't make a 10 yard pass? An international captain like Essien or Lampard fails to make a simple sideways pass, and it's Carlo's fault? Fuck me. I give up.
  10. Mourinho won the treble last year ... he's a 'winning manager' in your words, and yet what exactly are Madrid, the biggest, most famous club in the world, going to win this season?
  11. Oh no ... it's not the player's fault if they can't make a 10 yard pass, or score into an open net, or keep an eye on the player they're marking while defending a freekick. It's the manager's fault.
  12. Jose you suck, go back to Portugal / Guus, you fat oldie, you shoulda stayed with Turkey!
  13. Isn't it lovely how while saying Carlo's got no balls that people forget him leaving out Drogba for the title decider last year at OT, for the vital Spurs away game at Shite Hart Lane this year (one which we would have won had Drogba not missed that penalty in extra time) and leaving out both Drogba and Torres for what was essentially the 3rd place decider against City a few weeks back? Those are just off the top of my head in terms of big games that have a lot riding on them. Oh and where has the 'we want 4-4-2' crowd disappeared? First they criticised Carlo for constantly playing 4-3-3 but now that the 4-4-2 has failed, they're all quiet and not speaking a word about it. Fickle fickle fickle.
  14. A majority of our fans are unbelievably spoilt. There ain't a word called 'patience' in their dictionaries. To make it worse, they actually ridicule ones who're willing to be patient.
  15. The most fickle thread in history has reached 50 pages. Bravo
  16. Chances of this happening during the match then : :lolwave:
  17. Stalk Nicola, she'll lead you to all the players, even those from Liverpool - she loves them!
  18. Breaking news says Franco Baresi is being sought after for next season....
  19. I know...weren't there violent clashes between united and chelsea supporters somewhere in Africa after the CL final? Few people got killed. This is madness ... football isn't worth something to die over.
  20. What is the fascination with magnetic pink on football shirts? Everton away last year, Copenhagen away this year, Bordeaux third next year... they're horrible!
  21. I wouldn't hesitate to play Josh behind the strikers once he fills out a bit. At this moment he's not physically capable of facing the harsh challenges he'd face in that position.
  22. Where's Torres? And if there's one thing we should've learnt from watching Studge at Bolton, it's that he's a striker, not a winger.
