  1. Myabe the premise of playing them together in a 442 is just a way to make Redknapp alter his plans. It'd be moronic to change from 433.
  2. Yes Mourinho won us trophies (for which I am ETERNALLY grateful) when we were looking to establish ourselves as one of the big boys in England and Europe. So that means I can't call a spade a spade 4 years after he's moved on? Jog on.
  3. The reactions in this thread itself is exactly what Mourinho wanted to achieve, and he succeeded in doing it. Taking attention away from his and his team's poor attitude, performance and failure to rise to the occasion.
  4. And people wonder why Barcelona are hated. Shove your pretty football where it hurts and act like men for once. Still richly deserved the win yesterday though.
  5. The Chelsea references have nothing to do with him loving/missing us, it's purely a strategy to divert attention from his own failings.
  6. The best thing I've read in a long while, Alex :cfc:
  7. Best player (more than 10 apps) - Petr Cech Worst player (more than 10 apps) - Jose Bosingwa Most improved player - John Obi Mikel Best goal - Yuri Zhirkov vs Spartak, UCL. Best buy - Ramires Worst buy - Fernando Torres Best team performance - vs Sunderland away Best individual performance - Nicolas Anelka vs Sunderland @ Stadium of Light Best youngster - Josh McEachran Most memorable moment - David Luiz goal vs Man United What are yours?
  8. No Zhirkov in midfield please. Reminds me of our 'bad moment'.
  9. Don't want him back regardless of what he does at Madrid. It's not our concern.
  10. Going on about Mourinho like a broken record. Let's not turn into Liverpool. Chelsea is a club that talks about the future, not the past.
  11. Fans don't call Zesh Rehman 'pussy' anymore.
  12. If this happens, I will run around the house naked. By naked, I mean in a towel.
  13. "He is the chief, the fucking man" Well what do you know, Pep is right.
  14. Well good, sell him. Injury prone, doesn't do much when he comes on either. Waste of 18 million pounds.
  15. I find Maradona to be greater than Pele, considering Pele was part of a Brazil side that was loaded with superstars, while Maradona's '86 WC win and his Serie A stint with Napoli didn't have quality all throughout the team. He carried both those teams and like -25- said, playing in Europe and winning titles there is always a greater achievement than doing so with the likes of New York. That 1000+ goal tally is a bit dodgy as well, considering many of them were scored in friendlies and non-official matches, much like Romario. In fact, some observers of that time rate the likes of Garrincha and Jairzinho above Pele.
  16. Link Always game for a soundbyte eh?
  17. I see him going to United and taking over from Giggs.
  18. Ibra is an absolute beast, a bit inconsistent but pure quality when on form. Daniel Alves is an exceptional player and pretty much the best RB in the world (his overall game is better than Maicon), though a bit of a turd behaviour wise. Nasri can be world class if he moves to his favoured playmaker role currently occupied by Fabregas. I think Essien has sadly become overrated because he's living off his reputation. He's regressed a lot during the past couple of years.
  19. "Because I can" Gotta love Mario
  20. Injured or not, we need this guy and should be first in line if he's available for that price. He's an absolute gem and I don't want us to miss out on his best years.
  21. Anyone with links to the goals?
